[Elixir of Beautification]

Rarity: Rare

Although the materials used to create this tonic could be easily found if one specifically looked for it, its current effects have only co to be thanks to the ingenuity of its creator.

Once this elixir is applied onto skin, this elixir removes all blemishes and other unsightly spots on the covered area, bringing it back to perfect condition.

On the other hand, once this elixir is applied onto hair, the hair becos fuller in volu while also appearing more luscious and delicate.

In fact, it is said that if this elixir is applied onto a bald person's head, there is a high possibility that the person's hair would magically grow back to how it was before.

'Just as I rember it.'

Nodding in satisfaction as he read through the description of the elixirs he concocted, Valyr soon stored one of the vials in his spatial bracelet before looking at Thomas with a wide grin on his face.

"Success?" asked Thomas, his expression curious.

"Take a look for yourself," replied the young man as he showed him the screen he brought up just now.

"…Damn." Unsurprisingly, the man was left at a slight loss for words after reading through its effects. After all, the items they grabbed did not have beautifying properties, nor did they have anything to do with it whatsoever.

Telling Valyr that he was done reading through the elixir's description, Thomas then asked him, "Is it really that simple to make?"

"I an… you already saw it for yourself," answered Valyr back as he let out a chuckle. "It's the reason why I was confident that we could pull it off at our current levels."

"Now you're making want to try my hand at concocting it," said the man in response, to which the young man let out another chuckle before obliging.

Taking out a couple more empty vials from his spatial bracelet, Valyr kept the spare elixir he hadn't stored in his pocket for the anti before scooping up so of the bowl water with the vials.

"You got the gist, right?" Valyr gave the two vials to Thomas, his expression slightly uncertain.

"Sowhat," said Thomas as he tilted his head from side to side. "I gotta crush the Verdant Bluegrass first, right?"

"Crush the Verdant Bluegrass to squeeze out the juice, yeah." Valyr nodded in agreent. "Then, swirl the vials around a bit for the juice to mix with the water."

"After that, put in the Verdant Treeslugs into the vials, then shake them as vigorously as possible."

"Got it." Now having an idea of what he needed to do, Thomas went ahead and grabbed a small amount of Verdant Bluegrass before putting all of his strength into squeezing it.

Drip… drip… drip…

One by one, he allowed the juice from the Verdant Bluegrass to drip into the vials before swirling them to have the water and the juice mix together.

After making sure he squeezed out every drop of Verdant Bluegrass possible, he then went ahead and grabbed a couple of Verdant Treeslugs before placing one each into the two vials he had.

Swish…swish…swish…

Then, after putting the stoppers on the two vials, Thomas began to shake the vials as hard as he could, relying on the strength he had as a Level 10 player to make sure the two elents he added into the vials were thoroughly combined.

With that, the murky brown water within the vials began to lighten in color, bringing a hint of excitent to Thomas at the thought of being to craft the beauty elixirs himself.

However, after a couple minutes of vigorous shaking had passed, the color of the elixirs had consistently stayed a murky purple color, causing him to slightly frown before looking at the young man for answers.

"Is this normal?" he asked.

"It is." Valyr nodded in agreent. "From what I know, that's how the elixir usually turns out for those who don't have much experience in making it."

"If that's the case, then how much experience do you have in concocting the elixir?" asked Thomas back.

"Before you logged in, I spent an entire day working on getting the entire process down," replied Valyr, easily coming up with an excuse that made sense. "It was kind of the reason why I took a bit of ti to get to where you were."

"In any case, just because this is your first ti making the elixirs doesn't an it's bad." As these words left his mouth, Valyr went ahead and used [Analysis] on one of Thomas' elixirs before showing the latter the screen he brought up.

[Elixir of Basic Beautification]

Rarity: Uncommon

Although the materials used to create this tonic could be easily found if one specifically looked for it, its current effects have only co to be thanks to the ingenuity of its creator.

Once this elixir is applied onto skin, this elixir gradually removes all blemishes and other unsightly spots on the covered area, taking at most a few hours for the skin to return to perfect condition.

————

"The only difference is that the elixir you made doesn't affect the hair, while also taking so ti for the elixir to take effect," said Valyr as Thomas continued to read through the item's description. "It's still a good elixir."

"Are we going to sell this, though?" By the ti he was done reading, Thomas looked back at Valyr with a raised eyebrow. "After all, if we compare the two elixirs, the one you made would sell for more, right?"

"Obviously." Valyr slightly chuckled. "However, don't you think it's a good thing that there's a slightly worse version of the elixir available for people to buy?"

"What are you trying to—" Just as Thomas began to wonder what Valyr ant by that, a thought popped up in his mind all of a sudden, instantly shedding light on the young man's words.

"You're going to advertise two types of elixir for sale to ensure that everyone who cos to take a look buy at least one of them, right?"

"Bingo." Valyr grinned.

"We're going to attract their attention by first showing what the better elixir is capable of."

"If they buy it, then that's good. If they don't, then we offer the lesser version of the elixir and talk a bit about its downsides."

"At the very least, we'll ensure that most people who stop to see what's going on would buy our elixirs one way or another."

"Got it." Imagining what would happen later on if they started selling the elixirs to other people, Thomas soon let out a chuckle in excitent as he decided to continue concocting more beauty elixirs.

Of course, with his friend making all of the simpler beauty elixirs, it went without saying that Valyr took charge of the deluxe beauty elixirs, concocting them at a speed that allowed him to match Thomas' pace.

"Now that I think about it, I have a question." With the concoction process not really taking that much out of them, Thomas decided to ask Valyr a question that popped up in his mind.

"Are we going to advertise these elixirs at the village? Or soplace else?"

"The village," replied Valyr, already having an idea of what they would do next. "Although it doesn't seem like a good idea at first, rember that all of the players spawn at the villages when they enter Greater Beyond for the first ti."

"As long as they spread the word while making sure to advertise on the forum from ti to ti, it won't be long until we have a steady stream of custors ready to buy the elixirs off our hands."

"I see." Thomas nodded in understanding. "How much are we going to sell these elixirs, then?"

"I was planning 10 silver coins for the version I'm making," replied Valyr. "As for the version you're making… sothing like 2 silver coins."

"Well, those don't sound like a lot." Hearing those figures, Thomas slightly frowned. "Usually, things like these go for a lot higher than that, right?"

"They do." Valyr nodded. "Usually, they go for a couple gold coins since they're made from better materials. But rember, we're catching their attention by selling what's usually considered luxury goods at such a low price."

"But isn't that still a bit too low?" asked Thomas back. "Not in the sense of pricing, but rather the conversion from coins to Deltas."

"From what I know, the most generous conversion rate for a VRMMO to have is like one gold coin for like a couple of Deltas."

"There's the possibility that Greater Beyond might use a more generous conversion rate than that, but wouldn't we still need to amass around that much first?" he continued. "Plus, wouldn't that an we'd have to sell a lot of elixirs first before earning the amount of money you told back then?"

"Well…" Valyr rely smiled at Thomas before continuing to focus on concocting more elixirs. "Just take a look at the conversion rate through the system to get your answer."

"Through the system?" Finishing up another batch of beauty elixirs, Thomas stopped for a bit as he commanded the system to bring up the information he wanted. "Surely, the conversion rate would be around the…"

"…"

"Huh…"

For a while after that, Thomas remained completely silent, allowing Valyr to focus a bit more of his attention towards the elixirs he was making.

Though, after a while, the man let out a loud scream before beginning to concoct elixirs once more.

Seeing that Thomas now seed to be putting more than 100% of his effort into making the elixirs, the young man let out a chuckle in amusent before returning his focus to the task at hand.
