"Did..."

"Did we do it?"

Although the system had already given them confirmation that they had successfully killed the mini-boss with its notifications, SeventhShield and the others still decided to confirm the kill for themselves.

With Lycana healing everyone back to peak condition, the entire group soon made their way to where the ogre fell, making sure that not even a smidgen of vitality coursed through the foe they fought with their lives on the line.

"We did it...!" Confirming that the mini-boss that struck fear into them had moved on to the afterlife, it did not take long for the entire group's mood to take a 180 degree turn as they looked at each other with smiles on their faces.

"We did it! We actually fucking did it!"

"Let's gooooo!!!"

Feeling the tension enveloping their bodies earlier disappear without a trace, SeventhShield soon shifted his gaze towards Valyr before letting out a chuckle.

"I've got to say, you've probably got the greatest guts out of all of us, Ataraxia," said the

man.

"All of us here are already at or above the recomnded level for the dungeon, yet you, who's 10 levels below the recomndation, were the first to make a move."

"But think about it, though," replied Valyr as he grinned. "There's six of us, and only one of the ogre. Although it does have higher stats than all of us, is it really a gap we can't close with numbers?"

"It wouldn't make sense for the ga to make it impossible to beat, no?"

"Just call it a blunder in the mont." Not wanting to think back to his train of thought before Valyr took the initiative to start the fight, SeventhShield skillfully changed the topic as The let out yet another chuckle.

"In any case, you're only Level 10, right? How were you able to deal that much damage to the ogre?"

"That's what I wanted to ask him, actually." Listening to the conversation between the two, Uzu decided to butt into the conversation. "You're over 10 levels lower than , yet your spell dealt almost as much damage as the one I cast."

"How did you do that?"

"Well..." Seeing as Uzu and the others were genuinely curious as to how his damage belied the level he currently had, Valyr briefly thought about going a bit into the specifics of how he got stronger at first.

After all, with how he and the group were shing together, he had a strong feeling that this wouldn't be the only ti they'd cooperate on sothing.

However, after noticing the slight greed deep within Darklight's eyes while staring at him, Valyr decided to change his answer a tad bit.

"Let's just say I lucked out on getting a pretty good mana circuit skill," said the young man as he awkwardly scratched his cheeks. "Because of that, I was able to deal that much damage to the ogre."

"A mana circuit skill?" Whilst Uzu looked at Valyr with curiosity and excitent in her eyes, Valyr noticed the greed in Darklight's eyes slowly disappear. "If you don't mind asking, could I ask what rarity it is?"

"Also, if you don't mind telling , what stage of mastery have you reached with it?"

"It's at least Rare grade," replied the young man, not minding her questions. "As for mastery, I'm at the second stage, if I rember correctly."

"A mana circuit that's at least Rare grade, at the second stage of mastery," murmured Uzu to herself as the gears in her mind began to turn.

"Combine it with incantations, a maxed-out spell, and a few extra points here and there..."

"Now you're kind of making regret ascending to Rank 1 the earliest mont I could," said the young woman at the end, looking at Valyr with a bitter smile.

In response, the young man could only let out a faint chuckle as the conversation continued.

'A Rare grade mana circuit, huh?' While Valyr and the others were still continuing to talk about what they did during the battle, Darklight's thoughts were focused on sothing else entirely.

'It might not be much, but I suppose I could force him to tell where he got the skill. It'd be an easy way for to get more mages onto my good side.'

'Then again, that still wouldn't beat the thod I'd get from him to strengthen myself even further.'

'As long as I have that, who cares about so asly mana circuit?!'

...

After they were done talking about what they did during the battle against the ogre, Zack decided to move a bit closer to the corpse it left behind, curious as to whether or not a mini- boss would drop sothing good for them.

"Oh, damn." Unsurprisingly, with him being an Assassin, it did not take long for him to get his answer, eventually taking out a total of five items from the corpse for everyone to see.

"I suppose you could say the rewards match the risks taken," said Zack with a bit of laughter. "Does anyone want one of the items dropped by the ogre?"

"Hmm..." Hearing those words, Valyr took a glance at the items laid out with [Analysis] working in the background.

'A pouch of coins, a longsword, two orbs, and a shard.'

'Wait... a shard?'

"I'll take the longsword." While Valyr's attention was mostly focused on the shard the ogre

had dropped, SeventhShield decided to claim the longsword for himself.

"Of course, if anyone has objections to it, feel free to voice them out."

"As long as I can take the blue orb it dropped," said Uzu in response as she flashed a slight grin at him. "It might not look like it, but it's an orb used to store spells."

"How about the others?" asked SeventhShield as he nodded at her words. "Does anyone want the other orb?"

"If it's fine, I'd like to take it," replied Lycana, slightly embarrassed. "I've actually been looking for that orb for a quest of mine. I didn't know it would drop here."

"And the shard?" Nodding once more, SeventhShield asked the others one last ti.

"If I could—" Hearing those words, Valyr imdiately showed the man how much he wanted

to shard for himself.

Yet, before he could even finish his sentence, another mber of the group also showed his interest towards the shard.

"I'd also like to have that shard for myself, if possible."
