"…Now then. Before we officially begin this eting, I would first like to thank everyone here for coming at such short notice."

As these words left Malutar's mouth, the man swept his gaze over the leaders of the four guilds accompanying his guild in the world raid with gratitude.

Ataraxia, the leader of Azure Coalition.

ILikeLamps, the leader of Lighthouse.

SoaringSkies1, the leader of Soaring Skies.

And lastly, OneTrueJim, the leader of Krakatatakark.

After both he and Valyr briefly talked about the world raid they were about to undertake, the two guilds waited for almost an hour for the three other guilds to arrive.

Unsurprisingly, all of them felt guilt and sha after realizing that they had arrived late, prompting them to promise both Valyr and Malutar that they'd make up for it during the world raid.

"With that out of the way, let's get straight into business." Receiving a couple of nods from the guild leaders in response to his greeting, Malutar nodded back at them as his expression turned serious.

"I'm sure your leaders have already given you all a heads-up on what we're gonna do. However, for those that are still in the dark, what we'll be tackling today is a world raid called Lantations of the Red Wyvern."

"Think of world raids as special one-ti dungeons," continued the man, the gears in his mind turning as he explained what world raids were in simple terms.

"Aside from these dungeons having a larger party size limit than normal dungeons, clearing these special dungeons work on a different chanic than the dungeons we're used to."

"Speaking of which, to anyone who wants to gain access to a world raid themselves, one would first need to obtain a rare drop from dungeons at their highest difficulty to access it."

"For reference, we were able to obtain our first key to access this raid after clearing Swamp of Demise on Nightmare 57 tis in a row. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if those keys are only guaranteed to drop over around 200 runs or so for the others."

As Malutar continued to talk, the man gradually began to share the information they obtained on the raid, informing everyone that they'd spent their first key for this opportunity.

With him talking about the various chanics that went into clearing the world raid they were about to tackle, almost everyone in the crowd began to look at the man in shock after so ti, wondering to themselves whether they had heard his words wrongly.

Nevertheless, the shock they felt only lasted for a brief mont, with excitent and anticipation taking over their bodies by the ti Malutar was done briefing them on the raid.

"In half an hour, we'll be departing for the place where the world raid is located." Taking in a deep breath the mont he was done explaining, the man's expression turned into that of great relief once he noticed almost everyone looking at him with eagerness.

"Take this ti to either get so rest or prepare both your mind and body for the upcoming raid.

"As for the leaders…" At these words, Malutar briefly glanced at the four before gesturing towards a certain spot with his head.

"Please co with ."

Whoosh!

Briefly glancing at the three other guild leaders, Valyr faintly nodded at them as he followed Malutar towards a spot slightly distant from where the others were.

Seeing that Malutar took the initiative to cast a barrier around them, the young man imdiately understood what was going on.

"Loot distribution, I presu?" asked Valyr with a slight chuckle as he conjured another barrier around them.

"That, as well as distribution of work." Malutar smiled as he nodded.

"As I've ntioned earlier, there are five paths our guilds would have to take if we want to clear the raid, with each one corresponding to the stages of the red wyvern's life."

"There's the leftmost path, which tackles the birth of the red wyvern. Anyone who chooses that path would be given simple tasks, but are tedious in terms of quantity."

"Then, there's the rightmost path, which tackles the fall of the red wyvern. The tasks there aren't as tedious, but they're definitely higher in difficulty."

"Aside from that, you have the three paths between them that are a mix of the two, with so being easier and so being harder."

"Now… which guild wants what?" asked Malutar after that. "Our guild will take on the path that remains after you four choose."

"Lighthouse will go with the leftmost path," said ILikeLamps with a slight grin. "Almost all of us in the guild are used to nial labor."

"Krakatatakark will go with the second rightmost path," said OneTrueJim after that, his expression confident. "I get the feeling that our guild won't disappoint in that regard."

"We'll take the second leftmost path," said SoaringSkies1, briefly glancing at Valyr with a hint of arrogance. "With that being said, I'd suggest Azure Coalition to take the rightmost path. After all, they have the strength to clear it."

Although Valyr did indeed plan to have his guild take on the rightmost path in the world raid, the way the leader of Soaring Skies said it caused him to briefly look at the man with a frown.

Inwardly taking a deep breath to calm himself, he shifted his gaze towards Malutar as he gave him a slight smile. "Well, there you have it. Our guild will take the rightmost path, while your guild will take the middle path."

"Thanks," said Malutar with a nod, giving Valyr a look of apology after that.

After all, even he was able to notice the way SoaringSkies1 acted when talking to Valyr.

"Now, for the loot distribution." Not wanting to linger on their current topic any further, the man proceeded onto the other topic he wanted to talk with the other leaders.

"I'm sure everyone here has no complaints with each guild keeping the rewards they get on their respective paths, right?"

In response, the four other guild leaders nodded at this question.

Malutar nodded back in return. "That only leaves the rewards obtainable in the final part of the raid, then."

"Should we proceed with equal distribution if that's the case?" asked the man after that. "Or does anyone here have sothing about the distribution of the final rewards."

"Yeah, I do."

As these words left SoaringSkies1's mouth, Malutar and the other three imdiately looked at them.

Though, he felt a bit intimidated by having four guild leaders look at him, the man continued to stand his ground, briefly giving Valyr another look of arrogance as he said, "I think it's best if the final rewards are distributed according to their contribution!"
