"…So fast?!"

Whoosh!

Watching the 9th pillar on Valyr's pedestal give off the sa amount of light as the other pillars, the woman presiding over the test of ntality could not hide the imnse amount of shock she felt towards the situation.

After all, as an illusionist, as well as the one who made the test in the first place, she already had a rough idea of what an average participant would be capable of while going through the test.

In her mind, almost everyone would be able to achieve at least Bronze, with there being a decent chance at Silver.

To those that were more talented, perhaps Gold was within reach, especially once given enough ti to understand and reflect on the emotion being amplified within the illusions.

However, only those whose talents went beyond above the realm of comprehension could achieve Platinum.

As soone with imnse experience with illusions, the woman had confird that clearing the last two illusions was possible. Though, with the ans she had at her disposal, it still took her a few days to break through it.

On the other hand, she believed that soone with that level of talent would be able to break through it in about a day, especially with her adjusting the difficulty of the test after experiencing it firsthand.

Yet, contrary to her expectations, the young man who just entered the test of ntality not only cleared all of the illusions, but also did it in the span of a couple hours?

Whoosh!

Just as she was still trying to wrap her head around the fact that Valyr was available to clear the illusions she'd set up with ease, the person in question had finally escaped the clutches of the illusions, his eyes opening as both his consciousness and senses returned to the waking world.

"Whew…" Taking a brief mont to compose himself, the young man felt a few tears brimming around his eyes, prompting him to wipe them as he slowly stood up.

Then, looking at the woman with a faint smile, he asked, "How did I do?"

"How did you do?" The woman could only wryly smile at those words. "You've passed through all nine illusions in just a couple of hours. If I don't give you Platinum, then what kind of grade should I give you?"

Letting out a slight chuckle at her response, Valyr went ahead and thanked her for her efforts.

After that, he told her that the illusions she had him go through allowed him to resolve so queries in his mind, prompting the latter to explain a bit more about the illusions she'd created.

Hearing how each of the nine illusions were painstakingly created, the young man began to gain a newfound appreciation for the craft, especially once she talked about how she was able to integrate the mories of the person seamlessly into the emotions she wanted to invoke.

Though, once she talked about how much ti she expected the participants to take to clear the illusions, a blank expression soon appeared on Valyr's face, finally realizing why she was looking at him with a mix of awe and interest.

"I suppose I shouldn't hold you up any further." As these words left her mouth, she confird with Valyr that she had input all of the necessary information regarding his attempt at the second area on her tablet.

Thanking her in response, the young man decided to leave for the final area after that.

However, before he could even take his first step out of the area of ntality, he heard soone faintly whisper in his ear all of a sudden, the voice more than familiar with him.

"With your ntal strength and willpower, it wouldn't be difficult for you to beco a renowned illusionist. As an elder of the Algerie Kingdom branch of the Illusionist Guild, I humbly invite you to beco a mber."

Stopping in his tracks at those words, Valyr slowly turned around to look at the woman, who was smiling back at him.

"Of course, with the tournant still ongoing, you're free to take as much ti as you need to think about the offer," she continued, her voice faintly echoing in his ears.

"Hopefully, we see you at our doors once the tournant ends. I promise that the guild will not treat you shabbily."

"…I'll think about it."

After pondering the offer for a bit, Valyr eventually gave her a reply, to which the latter accepted for now.

With that, the young man was finally able to leave the area of ntality and move onto the last area he had chosen for the first round.

"To think Ylvar would have such imnse ntal strength," muttered Liam in slight disbelief, his mouth slightly agape as he watched the young man's test from start to finish.

"I guess it now makes a lot more sense why he was able to singlehandedly kill the Grand Chieftain," he continued, the other arbiters listening in to his murmurs. "Without strong willpower and steadfast determination, even the strongest soldier would crumble under uncertainty."

"If only you'd seen him while he was forging equipnt," said Julian by the side, chuckling as he watched Valyr arrive at the area for profession. "As a blacksmith registered with the guild, I'm sure you know that every blacksmith has to fulfill a quota for the war."

The others nodded after hearing his words.

"Normally, blacksmiths would only take a single quota and work on it for a week. Maybe even a couple weeks."

Julian grinned after that. "However, Valyr took on multiple quotas at once and completed them in less ti!"

"Without compromising on quality?" Eliathaea and Liam looked at the man in disbelief, their gazes briefly shifting towards Valyr's attempt at the final area.

"Without compromising on quality whatsoever." Julian nodded in agreent. "I don't know who taught him or where he learned his forging techniques, but to juggle multiple tasks at the sa ti to cut down on ti spent definitely uses up a lot of ntal strength."

"Look," he said, pointing at the young man at that very mont. "See those arms he conjured? He controls them during the forging process as if they were separate yet of one mind at the sa ti."

"It's all because of his unique ability that he's able to achieve such a feat."

With Julian's words still lingering in their mind, Eliathaea and Liam went ahead and watched the young man work the forge, their mouths gradually opening from the shock they felt at his performance.

As for Erika, her expression remained indifferent as she watched the young man forge. However, if one were to look at her eyes closely, one would see a nigh-imperceptible trace of greed within it.

In the end, the young man finished the test for profession a couple hours later without any problems.
