Whoosh!
Assessing the materials that had been taken out of the furnace one by one, the copy designated by Valyr as the sender deftly grabbed a pair of tongs before using it to pick up one of the materials.
Delivering that material to the nearest copy, the copy then returned to the first input, only to repeat the sa process of delivering another material to one of the other copies.
Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!
Within a minute or so, all six copies designated as assistant blacksmiths in the forging process began to work on their respective materials, adjusting the actions they would take accordingly to the material they were working on.
Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!
Of course, with each copy now having to do most of the forging process on their own rather than passing it on to another copy after reaching a certain portion, it took far longer for the six copies to finish processing their own respective materials.
Nevertheless, that did not deter the remaining copy from doing the job it was given, delivering all of the processed materials to Valyr on a spot designated as the final output.
Whoosh!
Seeing that his copies had already done their part of the job, the young man swiftly went ahead and got to work, conjuring a few translucent limbs on the side to cut down a bit more ti in piecing the materials together into proper equipnt.
Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!
In the end, it only took a few minutes for Valyr to complete the next six pieces of equipnt, putting all of them next to the first piece of equipnt he and his copies made the mont he was satisfied with their quality.
"…How long did the entire process take?" Feeling a bit of pride at how smooth the entire process went, the young man had a faint smile on his face as he asked his other identity for the answer he wanted to hear.
"A bit longer than the previous, actually," responded Ataraxia without missing a beat, making it seem as if he'd already been expecting his original identity to ask him that question. "An hour and 25 minutes."
"An hour and 25, huh…" murmured the young man in response, only to then nod in understanding as he realized that the slight increase was most likely due to the introduction of the copies that delivered items back and forth between him and the other copies.
'Either way, having them takes off a bit of the ntal strain that cos with the process,' thought Valyr soon after as he began to do a bit of ntal calculation.
"Since I made six pieces of equipnt in an hour and 25 minutes… that averages out to roughly 15 minutes spent per piece of equipnt."
"…Pretty good," said the young man with a grin as he ca to this conclusion.
"However…"
As this word left his mouth, Valyr briefly thought back to the last ti he accepted a forging quota from Julian, recalling how he used both [Epheral Limbs] and the extra limbs he conjured using Mystic Energy to complete the quota in record ti.
'Back then, I took about five hours or so to complete the usual forging quota of 50 weapons,' muttered the young man to himself inwardly. 'That averages out to around 6 minutes being spent on each weapon…'
'Pretty sure I was just doing what I did just now at the ti, but with a lot more ntal strain since I had to control a ton of limbs at the sa ti.'
'In any case, the fact still stands that I still take almost thrice as much ti to forge a piece of equipnt with the copies than it took back then.'
Arriving at this thought, Valyr went silent for a bit, glancing at the eight copies he had conjured before shifting his gaze towards Ataraxia.
Looking at his other self for a bit, the young man soon looked at his copies once more, the gears in his mind turning as he thought back once more to the previous ti he completed one of the guild's forging quotas.
Eventually, he realized what his current setup was lacking, causing him to inwardly slap himself on the forehead as he shook his head in slight disappointnt.
'More copies,' murmured Valyr to himself, letting out a slight sigh as he began to activate [Epheral Bodies] a few more tis.
'The only reason why this current setup hasn't reached the sa level of efficiency is because I've only been making use of six copies to do the forging process.'
'If the number of copies I had processing the materials were the sa number of arms I had back when I did the previous quota, I'm sure I'd be able to match my previous ti with ease.'
'Considering how I could still conjure translucent limbs at any ti, I could even surpass it if I wanted to.'
With that thought in mind, Valyr went ahead and enlisted the help of his other self in rearrange the layout of the workshop.
Wanting to accommodate his new plan of adding more copies that did what the main six were doing, the two moved most of the tools Valyr didn't use in the workshop to the side, giving all of the copies that would be processing the materials a decent amount of space to move about.
Requesting a few sets of extra anvils and forging hamrs from one of the guild's staff after that, the young man eventually began to set up the entire forging process once more, reconfiguring the two copies that tasked with delivery to accommodate the existence of the extra copies.
After that, he went ahead and conjured six more copies that contained the sa set of instructions as the previous six, bringing the total number of assistant blacksmiths he had to 12.
Willing these six new copies to head to their respective areas, the young man took in a deep breath to compose himself before chucking a large batch of materials enough to make 12 weapons into the furnace.
Whoosh!
Deftly controlling the heat within the furnace to make sure it spread evenly throughout all of the materials, Valyr briefly pondered over the possibility of delegating another copy to control the furnace.
However, not wanting to ss up this next batch of equipnt in any way, the young man decided to shelf the thought for the anti as he placed all of the materials onto the designated first input.
Swoosh!
Just like before, one of the copies began to deliver the still glowing materials to the assistant blacksmiths one by one, allowing the latter group to start their work as the sound of hamring began to echo throughout the entire workshop.
Ttang! Ttang! Ttang!
With the copies taking a similar amount of ti to process the materials, the young man was soon greeted by a small pile of processed materials in front of him, prompting him to get to work as he quickly put the final touches necessary to complete the 12 pieces of equipnt.
"…Ti?"
By the ti he put the final piece of equipnt alongside the other weapons he made thus far, Valyr looked at his other self with a hint of expectation, curious as to whether the addition of more copies had any effect.
Fortunately… it did.
"…An hour and a half," replied Ataraxia, allowing the young man to finally let out a sigh of relief as he let out a bit of laughter in excitent.
After all, with the addition of six more copies, he had swiftly brought down the ti it took to make a piece of equipnt from about 15 minutes…
…To less than eight.
