"...No need?"

"What do you an there’s no need?"

Ataraxia looked at Aeramis with shock written all over his face, his mouth agape thanks to the sheer disbelief from the latter’s words.

"As I’ve said," replied the man, shaking his head with a wry smile. "There’s no need for you to proceed with your third attempt."

"After all, from what I could tell through the movent skill you created, you’re bound to reach the limits of the third trial with it either way."

Now that he had heard what Aeramis told him for a second ti, the young man was better able to process and understand why the forr had decided to co up with the decision, eventually thinking that the decision made a lot of sense.

Unlike the first two movent skills he had shown during his first two attempts at the trial, this new movent skill he planned to show on his final attempt was better in pretty much every aspect.

Aside from being able to achieve a far higher maximum speed than his previous movent skill in far less ti, the new movent skill also gave him the ability to maneuver through the 200 stone pillars in any of the two areas without any issues.

Naturally, with his previous movent skills already showing impressive adaptability, it went without saying that this new one was also usable in all three terrains within the area.

In fact, Ataraxia felt that the current movent skill could even be considered far better at adaptability than even the previous movent skill he made.

However, the one thing that truly made the new movent skill stand apart from the previous movent skills he had shown Aeramis was the amount of energy it expended.

Naturally, seeing as he made use of magic circles to propel himself through the areas he traversed, it went without saying that the skill consud quite a decent chunk of his energy with every movent.

But that was all.

In terms of stamina, the movent skill took nothing from him. The entire movent skill relied solely on his energy output, as well as the rate that his energy recovered.

Not even one of the movents within the new movent skill relied on any accompanying movents whatsoever.

With all of that in mind, Ataraxia understood why Aeramis was declaring that he’d reached the limit of the third trial without having to go through it.

Yet, at the sa ti, he could not help but feel slight indignation towards the arbitrary decision.

After all, whether or not he could reach the limit of the third trial with his movent skill still remained to be seen.

Even though he knew Aeramis was doing him a favor by having him skip over the testing part, he still wanted to know if his new movent skill was truly capable of obtaining the maximum score for all four criteria.

And thus, he voiced out his concerns to the man.

"...Are you certain?" asked Aeramis in response, looking at him with confusion. "There really is no need to go through the test again, especially since I could easily tell that you’d obtain the maximum score on all four criteria."

"I’m sure." Ataraxia nodded, his eyes glistening with eagerness. "It doesn’t feel right for the conclusion to be like this after spending so much ti refining this movent skill of mine."

"...Well, you’re not wrong," said the man after giving it a bit of thought.

After that, he nodded at the young man. "Alright, then. Let us proceed with your final attempt at the third trial."

"However, don’t say I didn’t tell you beforehand that you’d get the highest score without any issues."

"I won’t," replied the young man, a slightly excited smile adorning his face as the surface of the lake solidified not long after his response.

Then, with Aeramis’ voice acting as the signal, Ataraxia proceeded to test his movent skill on the four criteria the forr had set, all of which more or less followed the sa pattern the tests had gone during his first two attempts.

Unsurprisingly, with how strong his movent skill was thanks to the improvents and modifications he had made to it, the young man did get all fives on all four criteria, pretty much centing the fact that he had reached the limit of the third trial.

"Now, what did I tell you?" Seeing the young man stare at him after he was done going through the third trial for the last ti, Aeramis rely stared back at him as he slightly shrugged. "There was no need for you to go through it one last ti."

"After all, the fact that you made a pure energy movent skill already told all I needed to know before you even tried using it."

"Not to ntion the fact that you powered the skill with two Intent Seeds," he continued, which made Ataraxia widen his eyes even further.

"By pure energy movent skill, you an...?" Though he wasn’t surprised that the man had figured out he used two Intent Seeds to power his movent skill, the young man was curious about the term Aeramis used to describe his movent skill.

"Exactly what the na says," answered Aeramis, his expression calm. "A movent skill that purely relies on energy to achieve movent, which basically puts it a half-step above even the strongest conventional movent skills of the sa tier."

"Then again, using two Intent Seeds to power your movent skill also puts it a half-step above conventional movent skills," he said, finding the whole thing slightly amusing.

"In that case, then it’d be more apt to say that the movent skill you created is on par with a normal True Intent-tier movent skill."

"Now, imagine that you did create a True Intent-tier movent skill." Aeramis looked at Ataraxia, the latter falling into pensive thought. "Under the sa criteria I’ve given you, do you think there would be a need to go through all that testing if you had a skill like that?"

In response, Ataraxia faintly shook his head, causing the man to let out a bit of laughter soon after.

"Well, now that you’ve reached the limit of my trials for the third ti, I suppose it’s only right that I upgrade the title I’ve given you to the next tier," said Aeramis after that, causing the young man’s eyes to glisten with expectation.

"However, before I do that..."

"Shall I discuss the fourth trial with you for a brief mont?"
