'Say… was it worth it to fuse [Intent of Forging] and the [Intent of the Forger's Flas] together?'
Slightly surprised by the fact that it was easier for them to dive a thousand ters deep into the Ocean of Crystallized Truths, Ataraxia was briefly stunned silent before continuing to sum up their gains the past couple of months with Valyr.
'Of course.' Valyr nodded, his expression telling his other self that the decision was a no-brainer.
'Think about it for a bit. The two Intents have the sa effects. Aside from that, they're at the sa grade.'
'Whether I choose to use the one or the other while forging, there isn't really any difference," he said, slightly shrugging his shoulders. 'With that being said, why not just combine the two into one Intent?'
At the mont Ataraxia received those words from the young man, the latter let out a slight chuckle. 'Though it may not seem like it, the effects of the Intent were actually improved.'
Being the only two Intents he owned that helped him more in production than in combat, Valyr already thought from the very start that the two Intents should beco one.
After all, whether it be the act of forging or the act of controlling the flas while forging, both of them made up the entire process that went into forging sothing.
And so, aiming to encompass the entire forging process into this new Intent, the young man was able to fuse the two Intents together, transforming it into the 3rd Grade [Intent of the Master Forger].
Although the current situation did not allow him to test out how much the Intent's effect had improved after the two were fused together, Valyr had a feeling from the brief mont he activated it that it had at least improved by 20 percent.
'Not gonna lie, compared to that fusion, the fusion between those three Intents make a lot more sense.' Remaining silent as Valyr's words briefly lingered in his mind, Ataraxia eventually comnted on the other fusion his other self did during the past couple of months.
'After all, those three together make up the building blocks of Pri Azure Energy,' the latter continued, a slight frown appearing on his face as they dove past the 1,100 ter park.
'That being said, would you have to relearn the [Intent of True Mana] for the other fusion you're trying to make?'
'I'll have to see if the fusion can be done first,' replied Valyr, his expression turning solemn the deeper they got into the ocean. 'After all, back when Sellifer first created Azure Energy, she first had to comprehend the concepts of the two energies before combining them.'
'Then again, she also had to purify them to the sa grade on top of that,' the young man muttered, faintly recalling the resulting Intent that appeared from his second fusion.
Unlike the fusion between [Intent of Forging] and [Intent of the Forger's Flas], Valyr was a bit more uncertain when he thought about fusing the [Intent of True Mana], the [Intent of Shadow Energy], and the [Intent of the Four Elents] together.
After all, compared to what Sellifer had to go through, the existence of the [Intent of the Four Elents] added an additional layer of complexity to the creation of a concept that embodied his unique creation.
Then again, considering that his current combat style revolved around said unique creation, it went without saying that there were more pros than cons if he were to form this new Intent.
And so, with the aid of the ocean's insights and inspirations, Valyr was barely able to fuse the three concepts together, even going so far as to incorporate parts of the Truth Weaver Scripture into it to form the first ever Intent to be aligned with Pri Azure Energy.
Unsurprisingly, it was given the na [Intent of the Pri Azure].
On the upside, with the solid foundation he had ford, as well as the great understanding he had over Pri Azure Energy, the resulting Intent skipped over multiple grades in its creation, directly becoming a 1st Grade Intent.
Though it still paled sowhat in comparison to the Legend Grade Intent his other self, Valyr could be said to have closed the gap in their combat strengths once more with that achievent.
'Speaking of fusion, I suppose I should spare a bit of ti towards upgrading the Truth Weaver Scripture,' thought the young man to himself, rembering that he was not far from achieving the scripture's second level.
Whether he would aim for the scripture's third level before ascending to Rank 5 or not was sothing he'd have to give a bit more thought.
However, he was certain he'd fuse mana and Mystic Energy together before ascending, as well as push his comprehension of the scripture Arcane gave his other self to the sa level.
'Of course, I'll save all of that for later,' thought Valyr to himself after that, returning his attention back to their surroundings.
Whoosh!
Thanks to their realization during the ocean's first test, both Valyr and Ataraxia were able to dive deeper into the Ocean of Crystallized Truths, covering themselves in the energy of their concepts to resist both the physical and ntal challenges that were slowly worsening.
1,300 ters…
1,400 ters…
1,450 ters…
Keeping an eye for the mont the perception of the surroundings changed once more, the two began to slow down their descent after they realized they were nearing the 1,500 ter mark.
Though the two had no prior reason why they decided to slow down at such an arbitrary depth, the two got the feeling that the second test of the ocean would be found at that depth.
…Of course, whether or not that was true was sothing the two of them would eventually find out.
'We're close to the next layer,' said Valyr through [Soul Entanglent], noticing that the water beneath them had transford to beco entirely composed of iridescent streaks.
'I sure hope our preparations are more than enough,' replied Ataraxia with a solemn expression, feeling a hint of dread as they inched closer and closer to the next layer.
Eventually, the two swam past the line of demarcation between the two layers, imdiately being greeted by a massive influx of insights and experiences from the iridescent streaks surrounding them.
However, before the two could even savor the continuous epiphanies they were receiving, a wave of ntal attacks struck them once more…
Only for a wave of energy blades to aim for their lives not even a second later.
