'Yeah... I can see the appeal.'

With the prerequisite quest now complete, Valyr inwardly let out a sigh in satisfaction as he took a look at the forging hamr he'd created through the skill.

Though the hamr was stated to have 80% of the average stats of a Rare grade forging hamr through the skill, Valyr had a slight feeling that the skill skewed the average stats to be above average.

After all, it was the skill of an Ancient grade class.

Nevertheless, whether his feeling was true or not, the fact still stood that the forging hamr was definitely sothing the young man felt he'd use if there were no other options. 'Unfortunately for the skill, I have sothing like the Hamr of Beginnings,' thought the young man to himself, deactivating the skill as he took out a mana potion from his spatial bracelet. 'It would be better for to emulate its properties to do sothing like this again.' 'If only it didn't take as much mana to create a forging hamr of that level.' Valyr inwardly let out a sigh as he consud the potion. 'Quite a sha, really.'

'Though, I probably wouldn't say the sa thing once the skill is evolved to Rare grade,' thought the young man to himself not long after. 'After all, the grade of the forging hamr created is one grade above the skill's current rarity.'

'How amazing would it be to have the ability to conjure Epic grade forging hamrs whenever and wherever I want?'

Letting out a bit of laughter as he pushed his thoughts to the side, Valyr briefly glanced at Tristan, only to find out that the man was already finished eating.

Taking note of this, the young man took out the Hamr of Beginnings once more as he asked, "Shall we get started forging equipnt for you guys, then?"

"Uh... sure." Slightly taken aback, Tristan took a while to respond to the question, giving the young man a nod.

Though, before Valyr could ask his follow-up question, the man interrupted him by asking a question first.

"But before that, was that a skill just now?"

"The forging hamr I conjured?" asked Valyr back, to which Tristan nodded in response, his eyes brimming with interest.

"Yeah, it's a skill I obtained through my class," explained Valyr, deciding to conjure another one after seeing his mana reserves return to full capacity.

Of course, the young man refrained from using more of his mana to enhance its stats, considering how he might use it while forging equipnt later.

Explaining the pros and cons of the skill, Valyr gradually watch the fire burning in Tristan's eyes intensify, only to fizzle out once he was done explaining.

"So, the skill allows you to conjure a forging hamr anywhere and anyti you want, but it takes a ludicrous amount of mana to make it good enough to the point it puts even mages to sha at its cost," said Tristan to Valyr after gathering his thoughts.

"Pretty much." Valyr nodded in agreent.

"How much mana are we talking? 5,000? 10,000? If that's the case, it's still doable."

"Way higher than that. It's more like 80,000 points if you want to copy what I did earlier," said Valyr in response, causing Tristan to suck in a cold breath of air through his teeth.

"Alright, never mind then," said the man, profusely shaking his head. "In my head, I thought it'd be nice if I had a skill like that since a good forging hamr would help improve the quality of the crafts the blacksmiths make here."

"Or you could just make good forging hamrs," said Valyr in response, causing Tristan to pause his train of thought before letting out laughter.

"I guess I let myself get swayed by the skill's capabilities," replied Tristan to Valyr's words, finally returning the conversation to their original topic. "So, you plan on forging those pieces of equipnt now, right?"

"Yeah." Inwardly letting out a sigh of relief, Valyr nodded. "With that in mind, how much ti do we have left before the monster tide cos? We've spent the past couple of days here, after all."

"Wait a second..." In response to the question, Tristan brought up his chat screen once more, sending out ssages to all of the other important people within town to get an update on the situation.

Thankfully, it did not take long for the man to get a response, looking back at Valyr with a slightly grim expression. "Fortunately, it's not the worst-case scenario."

"How much ti left?" asked Valyr back.

"According to Alfaera and the town's reconnaissance team, the monster tide was already sighted over a few hundred kiloters away," said Tristan in response. "From what they told , they were making a beeline to the town."

"I'd say we still have three to four days before it arrives, give or take."

"Half a week, huh..." At those words, Valyr rubbed his chin for a bit as the gears in his mind began to turn. "It won't be enough ti to forge equipnt for even two of the people I had in mind, but it's definitely enough ti to forge for one person."

"Who do you think would have the greatest chance to fight back against the Greater Tidemother aside from ?" asked Valyr as he looked at Tristan, only for him to receive a blank gaze back from the man.

"...Right." Feeling as if Tristan's gaze was telling him that he already knew the answer to the question, a wry smile soon appeared on the young man's face as he changed his question. "What do you think Myst needs more for the upcoming monster tide? A good weapon or a good set of armor?"

"Hmm..." Rubbing his chin for a bit as he heard the question, Tristan eventually looked back at Valyr with a calm expression. "She's gonna need the armor more."

"I was able to forge a Rare grade weapon for her after the first monster tide had passed, so she's set in that aspect," said the man. "Even went ahead and enhanced it as much as possible. I even spent the few Refinent Jewels I got as guild leader on it."

"On the other hand... her armor situation is in a sorry state." Tristan let out a sigh, giving Valyr a slightly apologetic look. "Did you know that she's been using the Supre Astarto Defense Armor you made all this ti?"

"Only after the second monster tide could I forge a set of armor that fit her better, but with the armor blueprint I got being sothing I wasn't familiar with, I was only able to make a set of Uncommon grade armor with it."

"...I see." Not needing to hear the continuation of Tristan's explanation to get an idea of what happened next, Valyr closed his eyes for a bit as he rummaged through the treasure trove of mories he had from his past life.

At the sa ti, he looked through the various blueprints he'd gotten from the inheritance, wondering whether there was an armor set that more or less how Myst fought in combat.

Thankfully, it only took a couple minutes of rummaging through his thoughts for him to recall a certain armor set that suited Myst well, a set of early-ga armor that was considered to be the go-to armor for many of the classes that mainly focused on speed.

With that, Valyr opened his chat screen and sent a couple of ssages to Julian.

"Hey, Julian. I apologize for disturbing you at this hour..."

"But can you check if the guild has so Wind Wolf Fur in stock?"
