Huo Zihang indeed wimped out and kept his mouth shut.
When they arrived at the resort, Yan Jinyi discovered that there were at least seven or eight of the girl's family members present. Although they were not sitting at the same table, they were seated close together and whispering to each other.

After saying that, she took out a mask from her purse and a pair of black-framed glasses that she had prepared beforehand. "Let's go. I've got your back, what are you afraid of?"
Huo Zihang couldn't help but criticize her in his head. 'You're dressed like a thief and you want to have my back?'

As soon as they saw Huo Zihang, the woman's parents immediately stood up and said, "Ah, Third Young Master is here. Please have a seat. This is my daughter, Chen Ziqiu."
The two seemed to have pletely ignored Yan Jinyi as they quickly started greeting Huo Zihang enthusiastically.
Once Huo Zihang was seated, he called the waiter over so that he could order some food.
Huo Zihang took the menu and placed it on the table with a sullen expression.
"Is Third Young Master not satisfied with this? It's alright, we can go to another restaurant," Chen Ziqiu's mother frantically asked.
"My second sister-in-law has yet to be seated. What are you so eager for?"
"Second sister-in-law..."
Huo Zihang patted the seat beside him and said to Yan Jinyi with a fawning smile. "Second Sister-in-law, please take a seat."
The Chen family members looked at each other in shock because they thought that this woman who was wearing a mask and sunglasses was Huo Zihang's secretary.
"Oh, so you're Second Young Mistress Huo, my apologies, we were too daft to realize that it's you. Please take a seat, Second Young Mistress Huo."
Chen Ziqiu's father was smart enough to walk over and pull the chair back for Yan Jinyi. "I'm really sorry. Ziqiu, didn't you say that you really admire and look up to Second Young Mistress Huo? Now that she's here, remember to ask her for help, lest you still stick to all your bad habits after getting married in the future."
Chen Ziqiu first looked at Huo Zihang coyly before waving at Yan Jinyi and greeting her. "Second Young Mistress Huo, I heard that the first film you invested in became a blockbuster. Yan Jinyi felt the strong fragrance of tea wafting up to her face.
Resiting her chin in one hand, she looked rather sluggish and languid. "Oh, please don't say that, I just like squandering his Second Brother's money."
It was a blatant flaunting of her loving relationship with her husband.
The corners of Chen Ziqiu's mouth twitched slightly as he looked at Yan Jinyi with an envious gaze.
"Second Young Mistress Huo, why are you wearing a mask? It won't be convenient for you to eat later."
"Oh, I'm allergic to some pollen. I'll skip the meal later, you guys hurry up."
Chen Ziqiu didn't probe any further since her target today wasn't Yan Jinyi anyway. She was bent on marrying Huo Zihang even if he was a philandering playboy.
As long as she bees his wife, she would be able to live in the lap of luxury and never have to worry about her livelihood for the rest of her life.
Her father had put in a lot of effort to set her up for this blind date with Huo Zihang.
"Third Young Master, can I take the liberty of asking if you like small animals?" Chen Ziqiu asked as she tidied her hair with her fingers and then placed one hand on top of the other on her knees, giving herself the image of a studious and obedient girl.
