Chi Enen couldn’t stop worrying about the injury on his back.
Li Beijue, however, firmly held her hand. His eyes, as brilliant as the stars, seed even more dazzling under the glow of the countless fireflies. When he looked at her like this, it felt as though there was a vortex inside those eyes, as if it could pull soone right in!
"Don’t worry about it. Follow my lead!"
A voice so husky, so sexy!
It carried a hypnotic allure!
Chi Enen couldn’t help but follow his steps. Under his guidance, she spun and spun again...
The countless fireflies hovered just at arm’s length. As they danced the waltz, there were monts when they accidentally brushed against them. Within the luminous, pale white and mottled green glow of the "starlight," her gaze remained fixed solely on the man holding her hand.
In that mont, Chi Enen finally understood the words she overheard long ago from a female celebrity gossiping about Li Beijue on the set—how a man like Li Beijue, if he wanted to, could make it impossible for soone to look away!
Back then, she’d thought those words were an exaggeration.

Chi Enen returned to the room. The mont she stepped inside, she couldn’t hold back anymore and said, "Li Beijue, take off your clothes. I need to check your back."

Li Beijue’s eyebrows furrowed sharply.

The wound on his back, because of the dance earlier, seed to have caused so strain on the muscles. He could feel that part of it had likely reopened.

Watching her hurt was far worse than having soone stab him with a knife—twice—right to the chest!
A pulse throbbed visibly on Li Beijue’s temple as he dodged her again, casually brushing her concern aside. "There’s really nothing to see. Why look? Chi Enen, have you taken a bath yet?"
The way he changed the subject—it was so blatant, it was practically announcing his guilt to every passerby.
Chi Enen was almost certain now that his wound had reopened. Not bothering to argue or waste words, she pressed her lips together firmly, said nothing, and swiftly pulled at his clothes.
Her movents were quick and decisive.
Li Beijue had no ti to react. His waist and abdon imdiately felt a chill, and his back was exposed.
Chi Enen’s gaze landed on the bloodstains seeping through the bandages on his back. Her lips pressed even tighter. Without a word, she turned around and said, "I’ll call the doctor for you."
She truly regretted it. If only she’d known, she wouldn’t have allowed herself to be tempted by the beautiful scenery and him. She knew he was injured—why did she reach out her hand, why did she listen to him and dance with him...
Thinking about the bloodstains on his back, Chi Enen’s heart clenched again and again!
The next mont, her wrist was grabbed from behind. She was pulled into a firm, forceful embrace, his husky voice low and commanding, "No need. It’s just a little blood. You can help change it."
"Chi Enen, I want you to be the one to help change it!"
