Chi Enen acted as if she didn’t notice the strange atmosphere and returned to her position to start packing.
She had been here for less than three days, so there really wasn’t much to pack.
Besides the laptop and a small potted plant, and a mug she brought herself, she had little else.
She put her things in a cardboard box, neatly packed them, and lifted it, ready to go up to the 88th floor.

Luna was left speechless by the questioning, wanted to retort but couldn’t find the words, and in Chi Enen’s gaze, she felt a lack of confidence.
Chi Enen continued, “You are not a child, able to use ignorance as an excuse for your mistakes. You are an adult, and I’m sure you know exactly what you’re doing. When you did it, you should have thought about the consequences, but you still did it, which ans you were ready to take responsibility for your actions. If I were you, I would own up to it, rather than apologize only when it’s ti to face consequences. You say I’m hypocritical for not helping you, but don’t you think it’s hypocritical to act as if you know you did sothing wrong, yet block here and apologize, asking for help?”
The whole Planning Departnt was silent, as if frozen, no one spoke.
During her few days in the Planning Departnt, Chi Enen had always kept a good temper and didn’t talk much.
It was the first ti the Planning Departnt had heard her speak so much, and only then did they realize how sharp her words were.
Luna was so stunned she couldn’t speak, even forgetting to cry.
Chi Enen didn’t want to waste any more words with her, carrying her box, bypassed her and walked out…
