“Nothing, why did you think of calling ? Is Grandfather’s health okay?” Chi Enen asked out of genuine concern.
The old butler, having lived most of his life and seen all kinds of people, naturally could tell who genuinely cared and who didn’t. Feeling ward by Chi Enen’s concern, he couldn’t help but smile, “Old Master Jue is in great health. It’s like this: Old Master Jue has co to Lin City and is staying at the Li family’s hotel. He suddenly wants to eat the tomato egg noodles Miss Chi makes. Would it be convenient for you to make a bowl for Old Master Jue?”
After listening to him, Chi Enen didn’t know what expression to put on, “Grandfather wants to eat the tomato egg noodles I make?”
What is going on today?
First, Li Beijue took her sea fishing and personally prepared salmon sashimi for her.
Now the old butler calls and tells her that Old Master Li wants to eat the tomato egg noodles she makes.
The old butler also felt that this request was quite abrupt and presumptuous. But since Old Master Jue’s appetite had been poor for so ti and he finally expressed a desire for sothing, he still spoke up, “Yes, Old Master Jue wants to eat the tomato egg noodles made by Miss Chi. Could you please co over and make it for him?”

Old Master Li is Li Beijue’s grandfather, which is like her grandfather. Naturally, she would try to satisfy whatever the elderly person wants to eat.
Although the old butler knew she probably wouldn’t refuse, he was relieved to hear her agree so readily and happily said, “Thank you, Miss Chi. You don’t have to worry about the tomatoes or eggs. I’ll have the hotel prepare everything in advance; you just need to co over.”
He paused for a mont and added, “By the way, Miss Chi. Please don’t tell the young master about Old Master Jue coming to Lin City. Old Master Jue has so matters to attend to here and plans to leave right after, without alerting too many people, so he doesn’t want the young master to know. I’m depending on you to co alone, Miss Chi.”
Chi Enen didn’t inquire about what business Old Master Li had in Lin City. She nodded, “I understand, I won’t tell Li Beijue. I’ll catch a cab and co over in a bit.”
“Thank you so much, Miss Chi,” the old butler expressed his gratitude.
Chi Enen felt a bit embarrassed by his words and quickly said, “It’s what I should do, no worries. I’ll pack up and head over right away.”
“Alright, see you, Miss Chi.”
“Bye-bye.”
Chi Enen hung up the phone and looked in the mirror, noticing that the corner of her mouth was a bit swollen from the kiss earlier, especially on the left side, where soone had left a bite mark.
The thought of eting the old master with a visible bite mark was mortifying to Chi Enen.
She twisted the faucet open again, washed her face with so water, and took out an old bottle of foundation, squeezed a bit, and applied it to the corner of her mouth.
Her skin is fair, and the bite mark from Li Beijue wasn’t overtly apparent. After covering it with so foundation, it looked much better and wasn’t noticeable unless looked at closely.
Chi Enen applied a bit more liquid foundation, dabbing it repeatedly in the sa spot, finally managing to conceal the slightly swollen mark.
If you apply foundation and don’t wear makeup, it tends to stand out awkwardly.
Chi Enen then took so ti to apply a simple light makeup. After finishing, she didn’t waste any more ti and hurried back to her room to find a shirt-plus-jeans outfit to change into. She tied her hair up, and imdiately felt much more refreshed.
