"You’re right, I do know exactly what kind of person you are. So, Lin Nai, I can tell when you’re lying."
Chi Enen looked at her coldly.
With that gaze, Lin Nai didn’t dare to et her eyes. After nervously looking away, she said with grievance, "Enen, don’t you believe ?"
"I will have Yun Teng blacklist you." Chi Enen spoke calmly, "Reflect on yourself for a period of ti, and once you understand, then say sothing else."
"You want to have blacklisted?" Lin Nai shrieked in disbelief. Her voice, in her heightened agitation, was as piercing as torn silk, unbearably unpleasant. But she couldn’t care about that now, exclaiming, "Chi Enen, I’ve already said I didn’t do it on purpose. I just took a photo to share with friends, and you want to blacklist . Even if I did it on purpose, what is your relationship with her, and what is our relationship? Don’t you know?"
"Lin Anxin is just an outsider. I’m your cousin! You want to blacklist for an outsider; what are you thinking? Aren’t you afraid of becoming a laughingstock?"
"I know exactly what I’m thinking. You’re right, she is an outsider, but when I had nothing, she tried her best to help find work and help raise my child, lending money without caring about repaynt, and doing everything she could to help . And what did you and your mom do during that ti? Do I have to list it out for you?"
Lin Anxin knew what Lin iqi had done. She couldn’t bear the confrontation with Chi Enen in front of so many people. Yet, she was unwilling to just be blacklisted like that, her pretty face turning red. After a long mont, she squeezed out, "So what, that doesn’t change the fact that I’m your cousin and she’s an outsider. Who helps outsiders bully their own cousin? No matter the situation, you can’t just say you’ll blacklist . Do you know how long I’ve worked for this, how much effort I’ve put in?"
"But do you know how hard Anxin has worked and how much she’s sacrificed?" Chi Enen retorted without pausing, "Have you thought about what might happen to Anxin if your photo gets reported by journalists?"
Lin Nai was montarily speechless, unwillingly saying, "Doesn’t she have a financer backing her? Even if the photo gets out, her financer would handle it for her."
"You have a financer too. Do you want to expose your negative news, since you have soone to handle it for you anyway?"
Director Liu, caught in the middle, broke out in a cold sweat.
He now knew Chi Enen’s identity and wouldn’t dare offend the future President’s Wife for Lin Nai. He quickly distanced himself from Lin Nai, "Secretary Chi, you misunderstood. I’m just out with Lillian to buy sothing today; we’re just normal friends, not what you think."
Liu’s action was like another slap to Lin Nai’s face, leaving her with a sense of having nowhere to hide under the sales assistant’s watchful gaze.
But she didn’t dare offend Director Liu. Even though she was inwardly angry at this man for not acknowledging people once dressed, she could only constrictedly say, "Yeah, you’ve misunderstood. I’m just here to help Director Liu pick out so clothes. I’m not like Lin Anxin; I don’t have anyone backing . Besides, what negative news do I have? Hers can’t be considered negative news; it’s just an injury from shooting at most."
