Lin Anxin took a deep breath and roughly calculated the loss. After all this chaos, she’d lost at least hundreds of millions.
However, money can be earned back, she couldn’t possibly sell her soul for it, could she?
"Forget it, I’ve already switched off my mobile phone. Co on, let’s drink~"
Chi Enen knew that she wasn’t as indifferent as she appeared, so she picked up a red wine glass and clinked glasses with her.
In the blink of an eye, a bottle of red wine was gone.
Chi Enen only drank a glass and a half, the rest was all drunk by her alone.
Her fair cheeks quickly turned crimson, and her eyes began to lose focus. Her tongue was tied while speaking, yet she didn’t forget to grab the bottle of red wine next to her, opening it and pouring it into her glass.
Chi Enen, seeing that she’d had too much, couldn’t stand it any longer and pressed down her hand that was pouring wine, "Alright, Anxin, stop drinking."
Lin Anxin’s neck was flushed red from drinking, and she subconsciously looked up at Chi Enen. After realizing it was her, she chuckled and hiccupped, "I’m not drunk. Don’t worry, I’m not drunk."
"..." Any drunkard would never admit they’re drunk.
Chi Enen didn’t let go of her hand and insisted, "Alright, I know you’re not drunk. Let’s stop drinking. I’ll help you back to the room to rest for a while."
Lin Anxin stubbornly refused to go, drank a few more glasses, and finished more than half of the new red wine bottle. Just as Chi Enen was at a loss about how to stop her, she suddenly froze like an acupressure point had been pressed. She held the wine bottle with one hand, looked at Chi Enen, as if confirming sothing.
"Enen?"
"It’s ." Chi Enen saw her drinking so indulgently as if soone was forcing her, and her own heart twisted into a knot.
The last ti Chi Enen saw Lin Anxin drink like this was when she had just returned to the country. Lin Anxin helped her secure that small role in the drama crew with a few lines. She found the Assistant Director, treated him to dinner, blocked before her, said endless nice words, drank with him to the point where she drank him under the table. They secured the contract for Chi Enen, only to rush to the restroom and vomit violently.
Back then, Lin Anxin was also flushed from drinking, and after vomiting, her first instinct was to make sure Chi Enen was by her side, as if fearing she’d be taken advantage of by so bad guy.
Chi Enen initially wanted to have so words with her about the break up with Si Chen, but seeing her like this, all those words turned into heartache.
Lin Anxin was already about seventy to eighty percent drunk, lacking the deanor a female celebrity should have. She foolishly made a couple of incoherent sounds, chuckled at her twice, and then, while laughing, tears suddenly fell.
She just let her tears fall, without making a sound, even forcing a smile at the corner of her mouth, as if trying to make herself laugh.
Chi Enen felt like her chest had been punched hard, shaken for a mont, at a loss, "Anxin..."
She bit her lower lip, suddenly stood up, and said, "I’m going to find Si Chen!"
Just as she was about to walk away, she realized her left hand was grabbed by soone. Imdiately after, the person holding her hand seed to be in pain, suddenly stumbled up, and ran inside.
Chi Enen imdiately followed her.
Lin Anxin rushed all the way to the restroom, lifted the toilet lid, and collapsed there, vomiting intensely.
