The situation had deteriorated to the extre.
At this mont, the last person who should have co, arrived.
When Huo Yi led Xi Zelie into the villa, Chi Enen was still trying to pull her wrist out of his grasp while telling him to let go.
"Young Master Xize, Master Jue and the others are inside."
As soon as Huo Yi walked in and saw the situation in the living room, his heart skipped a beat.
He thought Miss Chi had already reconciled with Master Jue, but from the looks of it, it seed like they were quarreling even more fiercely?
And he brought Young Master Lie in at this ti...
Huo Yi was sweating in his heart.
Xi Zelie also saw the situation in the living room. His gaze moved away from the quarreling pair and instinctively fell on Chi Enen’s wrist, which was being held. His eyebrows faintly furrowed.
Chi Enen stopped struggling upon seeing soone arrive. Although her wrist was still grasped by Li Beijue, she couldn’t muster a smile.
"Enen, I brought you sothing." Xi Zelie, as if oblivious to the strange atmosphere in the living room, walked over calmly and handed her the bag, saying, "You might find it useful."
"What is it?" Chi Enen, not knowing what was inside, hesitated for a mont and took it.
Xi Zelie glanced at the man who was glaring at him and slightly pressed his lips, saying, "Nothing much, you’ll know when you see it later."
This seemingly ordinary but natural conversation, in Li Beijue’s eyes, seed like two blazing fires burning.
His temple was tense, and the strength in his hand unconsciously increased.
Chi Enen’s wrist was still being held, and pain ca from her wrist. She furrowed her eyebrows and let out a muffled groan, forcibly suppressing the cry of pain on the tip of her tongue.
Xi Zelie, watching her all along, could not have missed her face turning pale for a mont. He hadn’t intended to intervene in their affairs, but seeing this, he couldn’t help but look up and speak to the domineering and arrogant man, "Young Master Li, you’re holding too tightly, you’re hurting Enen."
"None of your business!"
Xi Zelie furrowed his eyebrows, a trace of endurance flashing in his peach blossom eyes, and with his rosy thin lips touching, he said, "You’re hurting her."
"I said, it’s none of your business!"
Anger flickered in Xi Zelie’s eyes; unwilling to waste words with him, he reached to pull his hand away.
Li Beijue’s anger, held for one day and one night, flared up in a mont!
He yanked Chi Enen over, pulling her behind him. His fist swung, a punch aid at Xi Zelie—
"Li Beijue!"
His speed was so quick and ruthless that Chi Enen didn’t have ti to intervene. She watched helplessly as his fist landed on Xi Zelie’s face, causing him to stagger, with a trace of blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.
Li Beijue was not soone who would let it go easily if he acted. Almost simultaneously as Xi Zelie staggered, his other fist swung over again, forcefully cornering him to the wall. Grabbing the man’s collar, his handso face bore a murderous, bloodthirsty violence, saying, "I heard you got a heart injury because of Chi Enen? Why didn’t I know you were injured? At the staircase, you saw her, you did it on purpose, didn’t you? Hmm?"
Xi Zelie had no idea she knew about his heart injury.
Chi Enen held her breath, her eyes shut tight. Before his next punch swung, she shouted in a low voice, "Enough, Li Beijue!"
But the fist still smashed down like the wind.
