Chapter 513: Chapter 513: Baby Chi’s First Defeat in Life
He didn’t give Chi Enen ti to ponder, cutely changing the subject, “Woman, I want so warm milk, can you make a cup for , please?”
Chi Enen didn’t think too much about it, mainly because it was absolutely impossible for her to imagine that five-year-old Baby Chi would speculate in stocks, though it seed more likely that he’d be trading ham sausages at the kindergarten. Thus, she was successfully distracted, “Sure, I’ll go make it. When would you like to drink it?”
“Anyti.” Now that Chi Jingchen had heard that drinking milk could help one grow taller, he often drank a cup of milk whenever he could, treating it like water.
“Then I’ll go heat it up for you, you play for a while,” she said as she turned and entered the kitchen.
Li Beijue placed the curled-up little guy on the sofa and headed towards the study room.
Chi Jingchen followed him step by step.

At dinner ti, Chi Enen definitely felt the low pressure emanating from the little one next to her. He showed little interest even in fish, which he usually loved, and kept poking the rice in his bowl with his chopsticks without eating much of it.
Chi Enen gave the arrogant man a look, asking him what had happened.
But Li Beijue seed to not see it or he ignored it, avoiding her gaze.
After dinner, the servant cleaned up the dining table.
Seeing that the little guy was still under a cloud, Chi Enen took the initiative, “Baby, do you want to join for a stroll at the supermarket downstairs?”
“Hmm?”
“There’s a community supermarket right below, it has lots of toys and candies. We just finished eating, so it’s a good ti to go out for a walk. Let’s go, co down with for a walk.”
Chi Jingchen’s handso little face was still full of gloom, but after hesitating, he agreed to her, “Alright.”
Chi Enen imdiately looked up and told Li Beijue, “We’re going out for a walk. You keep busy with work. I’ll take Baby for a stroll and buy so toys before coming back.”
Li Beijue saw that she was worried about their son and wanted to spend ti alone with Baby Chi, so she said this. Although he didn’t like Chi Enen being out of his sight, he glanced unobtrusively at the little guy, who had lost his energy, and his thin lips touched together, “Hmm.”
His agreeable response was beyond Chi Enen’s expectations.
Chi Enen, fearing he would change his mind, quickly went with Baby Chi to the entryway to change shoes.
“Co back soon,” Li Beijue couldn’t help but say as he saw the two of them changing shoes and getting ready to leave.
Chi Enen turned her head back, her smile blood like flowers, “Alright, don’t worry, I know.”
Her smiling eyes curved, her delicate features coming to life, making Li Beijue’s abdon suddenly tighten, a surge of impulse rushing over him.
But the door of the entryway had already ‘click’ shut.
He irritably furrowed his eyebrows, returning to his usual aloof self as he turned and entered the study room—
…
In the elevator, Chi Enen had already pressed for the first floor when the always moody Baby Chi suddenly said, “Woman, I don’t want to go to the supermarket anymore, let’s just take a walk.”
Chi Enen sneaked a glance at him and pressed another button for the first floor, corners of her mouth hooking up gently, she agreed softly, “Okay. It’s been a long ti since I walked with my baby.”
“Hmm.”
Ding.
The elevator reached the first floor.
The usually cool Baby Chi outside took the initiative to hold her hand, and as they walked, he said with a milky, lancholic voice, “Woman, I am unhappy.”
“Why?”
“Just unhappy.”
Thinking about what The Neighbor Old Wang said in the study room, he felt defeated. Being young, he didn’t understand this feeling was called defeat. He simply felt uncomfortably tight in his chest.
