The female star, albeit slow on the uptake, by now realized she had provoked soone she shouldn’t have, flushing with embarrassnt, she looked to her Agent for help.
The Agent was in a tough spot with no chance to speak her woes, wishing she could imdiately report back to the higher-ups in the company to stop managing such third-rate celebrities. Even though these celebrities were C-list, they often caused troubles that were more difficult to resolve than those by A and B-list famous celebrities. The mont they got a sniff of resources, they would act as if they could raise their tails to Heaven, relying on their celebrity status to feel excessively important and exceptional. Without the insight of A and B-list celebrities, their ambition was greater than anyone’s, and when they stirred up chaos, there was no stopping them.
But after all, she was the one who had brought up this artist, and no matter what, she had to protect her. “Forget about it? Do you think just saying it’s over ans it’s over? I don’t like repeating myself. Take it off!” Li Beijue’s eyes were devoid of any warmth, so cold they could freeze soone to death.
The Agent could see that this was about standing up for one’s own.
Resigned, she turned to the previously arrogant and dazzling female star and said, “Weiwei, take off the skirt and return it to the gentleman.”
“Agent He!? There are so many people here…” The female star obviously didn’t want to do it.
The Agent’s face darkened, her eyes filled with anger, “I told you to just let it go at the outset and you didn’t listen, now take it off this instant!”
If she took it off now, this might just be the end of it.
If she continued to make a scene, she might face more situations that would leave her unable to cry even if she wanted to!
