Chi Enen’s hand had just flinched when her wrist was firmly caught by Li Beijue, whose eyebrows were knotted tightly. He looked at the small cut on her fingertip as though it were a life-threatening wound; his eyebrows nearly tangled into a knot. He quickly raised his head and scolded her, “Don’t move!”
Chi Enen was held tightly by him, unable to move.
She had no choice but to let him tend to her wound.
She had been absent-minded a mont before, and the fruit knife had accidentally cut her finger, but the wound was not deep. Li Beijue applied pressure with a cotton swab for a while, and the bleeding stopped.
