Sonia suddenly stiffened—having Dedarose, Felix, and the people she knew find out was one thing, but announcing her romantic relationship in front of so many strangers was another matter entirely!
This Felix, she would have to give her a good scolding when they got back...
"Alright, alright, Duke, stop showboating. Everyone knows the Sword Seat belongs to the Observatory, don’t act like you’ve grasped so profound truth." Trozan said discontentedly, "I always thought the Sword Seat was suitable for our sect because she was full of malice. Just later, for so reason, the malice was hidden. I was quite puzzled then, but now I finally know love has replaced the malice. But her nature remains as sharp as a sword; if before she would follow her malicious instincts to lay waste, now she would protect her loved ones with equal ferocity..."
"Alright, alright, Mistress Imasurable, please stop." Sonia quickly grabbed Trozan, her voice tinged with a hint of pleading, her face blushing as if it were about to bleed.
She seed to hear the light laughter from others, either good-natured or ant to join the fun. Even though she held the highest status, she was the youngest here, being observed by a group of adults after revealing a relationship left her feeling utterly embarrassed.
She’s certain this mory would beco the lightest in her mind, resurfacing now and then to allow her to relive the sha.
"Ti is about up, let’s get straight to the point."
Dedarose intervened to rescue her, "Besides introducing the new leader, tonight’s gathering also marks the official initiation of the Daylight Plan."
"What?"
"Finally..."
"We..."
"As expected!"
Everyone gasped, their eyes lighting up, even soone as stoic as Trozan couldn’t help but show an expression of excitent.
Dedarose elegantly bowed to Sonia, "Sword Seat, please allow to deliver the address."
Sonia nodded, although she knew that true power cannot be delegated, she didn’t intend to steal Dedarose’s credit. This was Dedarose’s plan after years of effort, and it was rightfully the Chaos Songstress’s stage to open.
The deep blue maiden surveyed the room and declared in a loud voice, "I announce that the Four Pillars God Sect will comnce the execution of the Daylight Plan from this mont, stripping away the Dazzling Star’s Heavenly Curtain to shatter the false starry sky!"
"Follow in the footsteps of the Sword Seat and the Observatory!" The crowd responded uniformly, kneeling on one knee.
"After thousands of years of managent by the Dazzling Star Magic Master, the Heavenly Curtain has beco impregnable, with no vulnerabilities for ’destruction’." Dedarose stated slowly, "But the Dazzling Star Magic Master, in order to assimilate the Source Angel in Ruby Mountain, will inevitably overextend the operation of the Dazzling Star Curtain and the Allstars Curtain, exposing vulnerabilities, which is our shortcut to ascension."
"But before that, we can weaken the curtain’s energy first."
She explained, "Every so often, teors land in the Dazzling Star, explained by the Throne Hall as mundane teors. But under the curtain’s shield, how could any teor enter Dazzling Star? In truth, the teors are remnants generated by the operation of the curtain."
"Though remnants, they contain the ’golden apple’ essential for the curtain’s operation. Generally, these teors are recovered by church mages or nobles because they possess the Stars Blessing link, allowing a mage in contact with a ’golden apple’ to send it back to the curtain, ensuring the necessary ’golden apples’ remain undamaged."
"Tonight, a teor will crash near Raspberry Creek. Our objective is to recover the golden apple before the church nobles, taking advantage of the Dazzling Star Magic Master’s preoccupation abroad and strive to exhaust the curtain’s energy to its limit!"
"Anyone with questions, feel free to ask now."
Felix raised a hand, "What is a golden apple? Why is it essential for the curtain’s operation?"
"It looks like a golden apple on the outside," Dedarose explained, "But its essence is ’Divine Knowledge’."
Not only Felix, but even core mbers like Trozan displayed perplexed expressions.
"In the mortal world, knowledge cannot be monopolized. For instance, what I say now, if another person hears it, another person knows it." The deep blue maiden divulged a secret even a Legendary Mage could barely comprehend, "However, it’s different for mages who step into the Divine Domain."
"They can seal knowledge into golden apples, akin to registering intellectual property, with the Void Realm only acknowledging the usage rights to mages possessing the golden apples. Thus, even if others know the corresponding knowledge, they cannot attain resonance in the Void Realm and consequently cannot summon corresponding Technique Spirits."
"The so-called Divine Domain is also referred to as the Domain of Monopoly."
"The most extre case is where a Divine Mage has sealed all knowledge, in which case, unless new systems are developed, mortals can never hope to resonate with the Void Realm."
The mages listened, feeling the hair on the back of their necks stand, ’knowledge cannot be monopolized’ was a truth near and dear to every mage, fueling their confidence to surpass their predecessors. Now, they suddenly realized that this ’sense of security’ never existed, that mages who first ventured into the Divine Domain actually had the power to monopolize all knowledge and render latecors as re mortals?
"However, you need not be too worried."
Dedarose reassured, "The creation of golden apples is exceedingly stringent. According to introductions by the Gods of Four Pillars, there are three necessary conditions: First, the mage must hold the relevant knowledge of a Divine Being, second, ensure that no other mages holding the knowledge exist, and third, require an extrely rare resource."
