Five permanent void gates suddenly shone with divine radiance, and under the astonished gaze of the crowd, the final corner of the hexagram once again descended upon the galactic veil.
The space echoed with a tearing, sizzling sound, and the Star Bridge Hall was again draped with a dramatic oil color filter. A tall, regal woman, dressed in a blue and white robe with deep blue bangs covering half her face, holding a magic wand, stepped out from the galactic veil. She glanced at the head of Sword Law and with a casual gesture, reassembled Sword Law’s head and soul body through the linkage of starlight.
"The foresight of the Divine Lord is beyond our reach," she spoke calmly. "If we had descended without hesitation from the start, you wouldn’t have ended up in this state. It was only upon detecting your defeat that we ca to understand the Divine Lord’s wisdom."
"I am ashad," said Sword Law.
"Do not be ashad; your ability to gain the Divine Lord’s favor and stand alongside us makes your capability unquestionable. Being defeated by the Vice Monarch of the Heavenly Kingdom held in such high regard by the Divine Lord is no disgrace."
At this mont, she finally turned to Ash and others, introducing herself, "I am Star Law under the Supre Star. As for my intention, Mr. Ash, you should be well aware."
She made way for the galactic veil’s passage, extending her hand, saying, "Please."
Ash’s breath was shallow and quick, his heart pounding like a war drum. He knew that Felix and Dedarose were watching him, and he also knew that the Sword Maiden and others were trying to recover, but there was no way in this situation... his source power was exhausted, and the other side was Star Law in peak condition along with Sword Law who could recover combat power at any ti. Even if the girls could recover, how long could their exhausted bodies hold out?
Even if he was willing to sink into the shadows, transform into a reckless evil ghost, he couldn’t possibly withstand the angel’s glory.
So, he could either surrender, or...

Ash opened the "Aurora’s Mage Manual" - "Operator Seek" and the indefinitely running "Demon King’s Arrival" anniversary event seek was still hanging there, with the flashing text seemingly enticing foolish players to draw cards.
Logically, surrendering was the wisest choice, with the position of Vice Monarch of the Heavenly Kingdom beckoning him. But there was no reason for Sword Law to harbor inexplicable hostility towards the Sword Maiden and others, the reason being only one—true hostility ca from the Supre Star.
Though the Supre Star spoke lovely words, allowing him to keep the girls and share the entire world with him, she stood at the top of the Void Realm’s magic supremacy, capable of granting dew and also casting down thunder. Who could oversee the tyrant’s promises?
He would never gamble the fate of himself and the girls on the goodwill of the Supre Star, even if a bottomless abyss lay ahead, he would walk it with his own feet!
Though Ash was now like a candle in the wind, he firmly believed demons could help him reverse the situation. 25% of Youmo was enough for him to slaughter the second layer of hell, so wouldn’t it be justifiable for 50% of demons to slay a few angels?
And all he would lose was so mory, and a bit of extravagant softness within his heart.
However, staring at the seek button, Ash still hesitated.
Last ti he lost his mory of Vishi, this ti who would he lose? Who would he beco?
Ash already realized that soul transactions were not a one-off deal, with 25% of Youmo already deeply embedded in his consciousness, 25% no longer belonged to him, which allowed him to share Vishi’s power, transforming into an evil ghost and persisting to this day... he dared to worry about the "character deviation" of the Sword Maiden and others, while it was he who was closest to becoming a monster.
25% already emboldened him to trample all laws, what about 50%? How many moral boundaries would he have to break to gain so return?
"But do you still want to experience that feeling? When even your heart refuses to beat, the feeling sowhere between exhaustion and pain overwhelms your body, and your head feels so heavy that it just wants to drop down, wanting to just curl up in a corner, or lie down quietly in sorrow... aren’t you quite familiar with this feeling? It’s called despair born from powerlessness."
The evil ghost once again clambered onto Ash’s face, distorting his resolve and twisting his deep love. He stared intensely at the Star Law angel, while the dark veil armor boiled once more... his fingers ready to press the seek button...

Four permanent void gates suddenly ignited, like a stroke of vivid ink tearing through the Star Bridge Hall’s dramatic filter. Ash thought more angels had co to et their doom, but instead found Star Law and Sword Law equally shocked.
Even though it was deliberately isolated by Sword Law outside the Sword Rain Pool, the permanent void gates forcefully tore open the Realm of Suffering at the Sword Rain Pool, revealing five passages to the void gates. Four of them were burning, making the chaotic space storm impossible to approach, while only the deep green permanent void gate functioned normally!
Ash and the others imdiately realized it was a rare opportunity, holding the Sword Maiden and others as they swiftly flew towards the void gate. Though Star Law and Sword Law imdiately acted to block them, the hall was still under the "dramatic" filter, all damage they inflicted would be paid for by the Heavenly Kingdom!
Moreover, the four burning void gates deliberately stalled the space around the two angels, forcing them to watch helplessly as this band of remnant soldiers escaped into the deep green void gate, and then, with a clear sword chi, the entire deep green void gate was cut in half, completely destroyed!
After Ash and the others escaped, the four void gates imdiately stopped burning, although damaged, they were still usable. But Ash and the others not only escaped, they also destroyed the corresponding void gate in passing... the angels couldn’t pursue them anymore.
The two angels stared at the four void gates, and Star Law sighed, "I knew those four Divine Lords wouldn’t let matters rest... each is a great presence capable of competing on the sa stage as the Divine Lord, why would they be willing to watch the Divine Lord completely dominate the path to supremacy?"
"We must act quickly, if Ash is claid by them, the consequences will be unthinkable."
Sword Law nodded, looking at the already broken void gate, thinking of his descendant.
Though the Vosloda lineage bore the curse of ’unfulfilled desires’, Felix had obviously fallen for soone he shouldn’t, destined to fall into self-tornt... but she was not only a Vosloda, she was also a girl favored by the Star Cluster.
If she could find happiness instead of the Divine Lord and the Vice Monarch... If she could beco a bridge linking heaven and earth, like the rain...
"Drama Poet," he murmured softly, "A thousand years, isn’t it ti to end?"

Felix supported Ash with one hand and Vishi with the other, collapsing to the ground exhausted upon passing through the void gate. Ash expended the last bit of his source power to completely destroy the void gate behind them and then collapsed like a broken robot onto the girls, gasping heavily.
Felix propped herself up to sit, finding her face covered by frenzied wind and sand, quickly unfolding the Holy Domain to protect everyone. Only then did she have the peace of mind to observe the world they arrived in.
Dense darkness filled every inch of space, endless sandstorms swept every piece of land, and the only sound in the world was the piercing howling of the wind, with the glory of civilization long gone.
Yet, when Felix gazed into the distance, she could see a fine, bright silver pillar of light piercing the sky and earth on the distant horizon. Though faint, though distant, it was the only light in the Dark World.
This was a kingdom at the end of the epoch.
