Sonia montarily forgot what Weiser was holding in her right hand, her resentnt suppressed and replaced by intense curiosity. Diya was the sa, with her ear pressed against the wardrobe door, eavesdropping on Weiser and Ash’s private conversation.
Among the four operators, if Sonia and Diya were considered friends, then Weiser was like a familiar stranger to them, while Vishi was a villain needing close supervision. During the Distant Realm, as the Sword Witch beca a rival in love, the new operative Weiser naturally beca their mutual friend. They all had a good impression of Weiser, but since learning Weiser was actually the Silver Lamp and having been offline for nearly half a year, their relationship with Weiser quickly faded.
Upon reuniting, they could not possibly share their hearts with a rival in love, especially since Weiser had never truly conversed with them during the Distant Realm. Reflecting upon it, Sonia and Diya realized they did not understand Weiser at all.
Aside from Ash, Weiser never opened her heart to anyone. All they knew was Weiser was almost blindly obedient to Ash, unlike Vishi and Dedarose; she genuinely and unconditionally submitted to Ash’s will, but they did not understand why Weiser was so... humble.
Perhaps tonight they might finally enter the inner world of the Silver Lamp.
"I’ve always been puzzled as to why I like you, after all these years of solitude without any emotional need." Weiser lowered her eyelids, seemingly reminiscing: "Thinking carefully, it might be your manifest mysterious power that captivated , being able to team up in the Void Realm without knowing my true identity, like a Lalafell holding a treasure, hard not to elicit greedy thoughts."
"I can guarantee the Sword Maiden and Witch initially intended to uncover your secret... don’t misunderstand, I’m not speaking ill of them, but any normal person would certainly harbor such thoughts." She chuckled: "It’s Ash who’s peculiar; though eting for the first ti without knowing my backstory, you trusted unconditionally... as if certain we wouldn’t harm you."
"That can’t be blad on ." Ash smiled: "Your image in the Void Realm is so genteel and gentle, it’s hard not to evoke goodwill. Also, you’re so intelligent, so gifted... I’m always grateful to have you."
Weiser softly bit her lip, her gaze charmingly captivating, "Are you affirming or flirting?"
"Previously just affirming," Ash tilted his head, "now both."
"Thinking deeply, my curiosity towards you was actually a harbinger of danger... you’re the first man to intrigue ." Weiser sipped pineapple juice and continued feeding Ash, "Later, I felt you could understand , so I wanted to get closer."
"But what truly made fall for you... was seeing the Sword Maiden Witch’s happiness."
Sonia and Diya were startled.
"Despite them being rivals at the ti, they naturally revealed smiles when with you." Weiser said: "During the Divine Fire Trial, you said that you admired my resolve, but I too admire your capacity for love... I realized then, being loved by you was a blissful thing."
"In the Flowing Gold River during the Divine Fire Trial, we faced peril countless tis; had you abandoned , I’d surely have perished, yet I felt so comforted, not frightened at all." Weiser flashed a bright smile: "Because I felt that you liked ."
"Knowing I gave my true heart, you willingly responded to the blazing flas... a man like iwa, given a little sunlight would shine, given a bit of fla would burn."
Ash awkwardly bit the straw: "I’d rather you call a trash can..."
"When you fell for , my sufferings began." Weiser said softly: "I wanted to destroy Senluo, yet you couldn’t bear to watch such disaster unfold; my nurous evil deeds were unacceptable to you. Initially, I sought your understanding, but then I couldn’t bear to drag you into this mire of despair. I hoped you’d leave Senluo, to the Dazzling Star to find your favorite Sword Maiden."
"I’ve beco anxious, depressed, conflicted, self-pitying and lanting. That passionate liking, mixed with frustration ebbed away and surged back, repeatedly rising and falling." Weiser self-mocked: "I even cried... cried for being caught in a dilemma, cried for having backbone yet lack of bravery, cried for being so clever yet aggrieving myself."
"Isn’t it funny? All my life indulging in wickedness feeling guiltless, yet you alone tornted endlessly."
She took a deep breath, shifting her gaze away avoiding eye contact with Ash, with a relaxed tone she said: "I thought dying would end this tornt, yet you awakened again... I fear neither the Dark Forest, nor being imprisoned for eternity, but knowing you’re risking yourself for others in the Allstars cage tightened my heart, the feeling of pain interweaving with fatigue spread throughout ... every minute, every second, every mont... that was my first taste of fear."
Ash gazed at Weiser, holding her tightly kissing her deeply. Weiser, as always, responded passionately, never disobeying Ash’s will.
"From that mont, I understood you’re the fate’s punitive tool." The Divine Being’s warm breath touched the Mage’s lips, "I’ve committed unforgivable sins, even death can’t repay, my remaining life will be a tornt filled with regrets inflicted by you."
"I love you the most, but you don’t love most."
"I want to have children with you, yet it’ll never be realized. The Sword Maiden, Witch, and all the girls you know can have love crystals with you, only I cannot."
"Wanting what I can’t have, within reach yet unattainable, that’s my fate." Weiser calmly stated: "No matter how you treat Ash, I’ll willingly endure. Even if you dislike , despise , refuse to interact with , use like a rag, I’ll be indifferent."
"Flowers don’t die when fallen, wind picks them up then drops them, only then they perish." She nestled in Ash’s embrace, gently saying: "As long as you don’t abandon , no matter how you punish , it’s my deserved fate."
The tent suddenly quieted, monts later, a click resounded, the sound of a drink cup placed on the bedside table.
Then ca the creak of the bed fra wobbling under stress.
Weiser and Ash’s positions instantly reversed, Divine Being pressed beneath Mage, enduring the whirlwind storm’s punishnt. The tent’s temperature began rising, silver crystal bodies in eight corners seemingly glowed brighter.
Sonia and Diya were wide-eyed—this wasn’t a threat, nor passive, but a beast-like aggressive attack—had Ash forgotten they were inside the wardrobe!?
Yet they felt it was only natural, even if Ash’s heart was like glass, hard as iron under the Blood Tide, Weiser’s unreserved affection would warm it.
Suddenly, Diya’s extrely light and low voice sounded in Sonia’s heart: "Look at Silver Lamp."
Sonia peered through the wardrobe gap observing Weiser lying on the bed, anger suddenly flared up. She clearly saw, the Silver Lamp God Youlan Weiser, who had monts ago been self-pitying, now wore a satisfied smirk, a cunning smile playing at her eyes.
