Although it sounds a bit strange, Ash felt an inexplicable sense of relief at this mont.

After all, this was the first ti since tonight that he knew exactly who entered his tent. He couldn’t avoid knowing; there were no other options.

More importantly, unlike Sword Maiden, Witch, and Silver Lamp, Ash was confident he could deter her completely. As long as Ash refused, she would have to accept it; she couldn’t act like Sword Maiden, Witch, and Silver Lamp did, playing the harp without permission.

So should he refuse? After all, she was the only one left... If Ash’s actions tonight were a cri, he was already sentenced to death, and committing another wouldn’t increase his penalty.

Ash quickly made up his mind: he had to refuse.

Because, unlike Sword Maiden and the others, in everyone’s impression, she didn’t like him. She only wanted to ’tempt’ and ’dominate’ him, so everyone was wary of her as a demon and monitored her like an enemy. This was the only way they could barely accept her as a team mber—because Sword Maiden and the others believed Ash’s moral bottom line wouldn’t allow him to fall for a demon, especially one with sinister intentions.

Simply put, they were confident in controlling a sinister and despicable demon.

But if it were a maid who liked her Master, that would be completely different.

Ash, who would rember the kindness of others, might fall for the maid’s tenderness even if he hated the evil of demons to the core. Actually, Ash’s fondness for maids wasn’t that serious; from Blood Moon to Dazzling Star, he had people he liked. But the problem was, the maid could potentially turn back into a demon.

To her, being a demon was her entire life, and the maid was a jarring stain.

Even Witch and Silver Lamp couldn’t accept a woman who might backstab Ash. Sword Maiden even clearly stated if Ash dared to like the maid, she would kill the demon.

A demon who hates Ash has the right to live, but a maid who likes Ash can only die.

Even to reduce the pressure she faced in the team, Ash had to sternly condemn her malicious intent, issue orders decisively, and give her no chance, hastening her departure from this battlefield.

Ash made up his mind and quietly waited for the blanket to move on its own.

Inside the tent, there was complete silence, the darkness was as thick as a deep lake, and even the wardrobe made no sound. Ash closed his eyes, breathed steadily, and gradually relaxed, only realizing he’d been busy for nearly two hours, and it was nearing midnight.

Suddenly, as if a stone was thrown into the deep lake, the air’s flow changed. Ash clearly felt soone suddenly appear beside the bed, as if she had been hiding in the shadows all along, only now erging.

Wonder · Soul Reflection · Shadow Dinsion.

The bed emitted a soft, barely audible creak as she sat down. Ash could feel her round hips pressing into the soft bed.

Her movents were gentle, like a squirrel stealing pine nuts, seemingly not wanting to disturb the serenity in the darkness. For so reason, when Ash thought of her cautious appearance, he found it amusing.

What would she do next? Assault? Play the harp? Or... temper the fire?

Ash let his mind wander, waiting left and right, but after a full minute passed without any event, it seed like the tent housed only him and the three girls in the wardrobe. Waiting and waiting, Ash felt an itch in his heart, wondering if she discovered he wasn’t asleep.

Suddenly, shallow ripples stirred in the deep lake of darkness, and Ash felt warm breath on his face, as if a demon leaned close to him. His heart skipped, and he subconsciously held his breath, but soon realized the flaw—sleeping people don’t hold their breath, she’d surely notice he wasn’t asleep.

As expected, Ash noticed the other’s breath suddenly disappear, clearly realizing Ash had detected her presence, making her nervous.

But soon, the warm breath intersected again, even less concealed than before. Her breath was rapid, shallow, and warm, her heart surely racing, like a hungry demon scrutinizing its al, eager to devour.

Honestly, this scenario was a bit scary; the surrounding darkness was profound without a trace of light, silent with no sound, with only the sensation of breathing in the dark, as if he’d be eaten the next second.

But Ash wasn’t afraid; instead, he wanted to laugh. Because he sensed she was scared, hence her cautiousness, daring only to draw near to test him, resembling the most timid demon he’d ever seen.

Ash knew she was watching him, but the darkness was so dense, they were obviously looking at each other, yet saw nothing. Perhaps that’s why they dared to gaze without reservation, undeterred by moral limits and self-principles.

Slowly, Ash felt her hand slip under the blanket, thinking the mont has co. Yet, contrary to his imagination, she rely grabbed his hand, fingers interlacing, ten fingers tightly intertwined.

This was their first ti holding hands... perhaps also the first ti intertwining fingers.

Despite having done more intimate things, holding hands still made their hearts race.

With the power of the Soul-locking God perating their soul bodies, they beca ’bright’. They didn’t actually glow, nor did the tent’s darkness break, but they could see each other more clearly than ever, not with their eyes, but with their souls.

Yet, what appeared before Ash wasn’t a hideous demon.

He saw the Elf maid sitting by the bed, left hand tightly holding Ash’s hand. She leaned forward slightly, with pink twin-tailed curls hanging alongside her pretty face, quietly gazing at Ash.

After staring at each other for a while, Ash softly asked, "Why are you dressed as a maid again?"

Since training began, Vishi stopped wearing the maid outfit, opting for the Ghost Prophet’s battle attire: a dark feathered cape, a black vest, slim pants, and high-heeled boots—simply put, much cooler than Ash.

Ash thought she finally abandoned the maid image, yet Vishi sitting by the bed wore the maid corset accentuating her voluptuous figure, with white satin hair accessories, beneath her short skirt were purple knee socks slightly pressing into her flesh.

Nothing about her resembled the Ghost Prophet.

"...You don’t like it?"

Vishi’s voice was soft, yet to Ash, it carried an inexplicable vulnerability and anxiety. But how could the Ghost Prophet be vulnerable or anxious?

"Why are you here?" Ash asked.

Vishi didn’t answer, she just stared at Ash blankly, blushing as if she might bleed, eyes hazy like a deer, appearing intoxicated. It was Ash’s first ti seeing such a Vishi, rather than hesitating, it seed like she was enduring sothing.

The maid looked at Ash for a long ti, slowly raised her hand, and lightly touched her soft lips with her finger. Her gaze remained on Ash, a watery light reminding him of animals yearning to be fed.

Ash hesitated for a while, ultimately helplessly said, "Just one kiss."

Ash couldn’t bring himself to refuse, as if seeing soone dying of thirst in the desert while he had endless icy cola and countless Lalafei gourt... he felt if he refused, Vishi wouldn’t survive.

Vishi instantly beca cheerful, her excitent visible in her eyes. If she had a tail, it would surely be wagging. She placed her hands on either side of Ash, slowly leaning in like a Prince kissing a Princess, cautiously, yet filled with anticipation, to kiss Ash.

This wasn’t their first kiss, yet felt more intense than any prior. Vishi’s suppressed emotions saturating Ash’s soul during the exchange of lips and tongues, a passionate fervor seemingly wishing to rge with Ash’s being... By the ti the kiss ended, several minutes had passed, and Vishi naturally found herself straddling Ash, legs as usual clenching his waist.

The pair embraced closely, their tangled breaths crossing, the maid’s soul body pressing against her master’s outline. Ash held her waist, feeling a sense of irreparable longing.

He sighed, using past experiences to inquire about Vishi’s latest breakthroughs: "Can you disconnect the Gospel Divine Being’s prophecy ability?"

Vishi paused, then shook her head.

"Can you interfere with the Gospel Divine Being’s surveillance ability?"

She shook her head again.

"Can you set up a space isolating the Gospel Divine Being’s signals?"

Still shaking her head.

Ash was puzzled: "Then what aspect of the Gospel Divine Being did you unlock?"

The maid blinked, softly said, "I didn’t break through the Gospel Divine Being at all."

Ash was shocked: "You ca to find without breaking through the Gospel Divine Being?"

I declare you’re the worst operator I’ve ever seen, bar none!
