Chapter 590: Chapter 478: Ash, Restraint!_2

“Can’t you just co out in your old clothes?”

“Wearing old clothes, what’s the difference from not taking a shower?” Hanna turned her head to give him a look, “I can’t change my clothes with you staying here, you better go take a shower.”

Ash quickly grabbed his change of clothes and headed to the bathroom. For safety, he locked the door from the inside, and then he hurried to strip and take a cold shower, swiftly calming himself down.

His first thought was, could Hanna be attacking with a Spirit Miracle?

But on second thought, that didn’t seem right. Hanna’s tone was very normal, her reasoning impeccable, her movents polite and apropos. Her attitude towards him was casual but not affectionate, and the sense of distance was just right. That Ash couldn’t maintain his composure was entirely his personal problem; it would be unfair to bla Hanna for being too beautiful and sexy, right?

Moreover, Hanna had co out wrapped only in a towel because she truly accepted him at heart. Just as she didn’t mind showing her vulnerable side in front of Ash, she also didn’t mind revealing her daily habits. However, he was only focused on her appearance and hadn’t cared about her inner emotional world. Ash deeply detested himself for his shallowness.

Soaking in the bathtub, he focused his mind, thinking he would read the Gospel Book later to pass the ti and not look at Hanna at all. Naturally, he wouldn’t be invaded by impure thoughts—

Wait a second, why is there a scent of violet? Ash looked down and saw purple petals floating in the bathtub and after a mont’s hesitation, rembered that these were from Hanna’s bath.

The young lady had been soaking here just minutes ago… Wait, wait, I’ve used soone else’s bathwater before. After Igula finished bathing, I just went in and continued soaking. Igula’s bathwater’s fragrance was even stronger than this!

It’s nothing to worry about, don’t overthink!

Ash, restrain yourself!

Although that was what he thought, Ash felt his body temperature rising rapidly, so he decided to end his most comfortable bathing experience early, dried off, and changed into pajamas to go out.

“Are you done showering?”

Hanna sat on the bed leaning against the wall, her purple hair casually tied up, falling over her right shoulder, with a duvet covering her legs. She was wearing an obviously oversized loose white shirt and was reading the Gospel Book with a pair of glasses on.

“If you want to sit on the bed, that’s fine, but you’ll need to go back to the couch when logging into the Void Realm.”

Ash stared blankly at her shirt, “That shirt of yours…”

“It’s yours,” Hanna lifted her hands and flicked the sleeves. Her palms were completely hidden inside, “I left my pajamas in the previous room and didn’t bring them over. Also, formal clothes are not comfortable for resting. I just happened to see a shirt in your luggage and borrowed it; you don’t mind, do you?”

“I don’t mind, but those glasses of yours…”

“They’re anti-blue light glasses. The Gospel Book is all good, but it emits light like the sun’s, which can affect the retina. Even though it could cause macular degeneration, which is treatable, I’m used to wearing glasses to prevent it and they also help a bit with fatigue.”

Ash nodded in sudden understanding, and then sat down at the vanity to blow-dry his hair. Hanna glanced at him but said nothing, continuing to imrse herself in the drama played by the Gospel Book.

The Cult Leader dried his hair calmly, but inside, a tsunami was rising, waves crashing against the shore, unceasing!

He didn’t dare even to peek through the corner of his eye, fearful he’d transform into an Extre Cutting Carp-level lustful monster the next second.

Why, why did Hanna, who didn’t look alluring in the slightest, excite him so much that his mind was filled with indescribable thoughts!

“How is it even allowed for you to wear my white shirt, and even wear glasses on top of that? That’s cheating, way too much cheating! That should be punishable by law! It’s practically attempted murder!”

After drying his hair, Ash let out a long sigh of relief and tiptoed carefully onto the bed. Hanna seed engrossed in the drama and didn’t notice him at all, so he inched closer, little by little, until he was right beside her and feigned casual interest, “What are you watching?”

“‘From the Old World’,” Hanna nudged the Gospel Book closer to him so he could see the drama: “It’s a cody fantasy that tells the story of a few ‘Old Worlders’ from different kingdoms entering the Kingdom of Gospel, where the gospel is freely and infinitely supplied. Their refusal to listen to the gospel and their clinging to the outdated ways of the old era lead to a series of ridiculously tragic tales.”

‘Free and infinite supply of gospel’… In the past life, that would be the sci-fi setting of unlimited energy, right? So, is this a sci-fi piece under the worldview of the Gospel World?

Ash had no interest in science fiction, yet when he glanced at the light screen of the Gospel Book, that brief look caused him to beco sowhat transfixed.

“Who’s this girl that’s fighting?”

“The female lead,” Hanna replied: “One of the ‘Old Worlders’, from a very poor village, impulsive and reckless by nature. After coming to the Kingdom of Gospel, she feels both inferior and proud, and many conflicts arise because of the troubles she stirs… Why, do you like this actress?”

“No, she just reminds of soone.”

“Similar to this character?”

“Not at all alike, neither in personality nor appearance, I can’t see any resemblance.”

“Then how did you think of this person?”

“I don’t know,” Ash scratched his head, “It just ca to in a roundabout way.”

Hanna gave him a glance, then the two quietly finished watching the drama, and in the happy ending where the ‘Old Worlders’ assimilated into the Kingdom of Gospel, Ash suddenly asked, “How much longer do we have before we take action?”

“The Weaving Festival is now only short of two listings. Depending on the current pace of weaving, we’d have to act the day after tomorrow at the earliest, and it certainly won’t be more than five days.”

“Five days…” Ash murmured, “We don’t have much ti left then.”

“Yes,” Hanna spoke softly, “If there’s anything you want to do, you’d better hurry and get it done in this last bit of ti.”

“Mm,” Ash nodded, “It’s about ti for to enter the Void Realm, good night.”

“Good night,” Hanna said, “I’ll stay up a bit longer to watch the information flow.”

Ash crossed his legs as he sat on the sofa, opened ‘Aurora’s Mage Manual’ and clicked on ‘Void Realm Exploration,’ choosing to enter the Void Realm with the Sword Witch.

Once Ash closed his eyes and his consciousness left his body to reach the Ti Continent, Hanna closed the Gospel Book and quietly lifted the blanket to step off the bed and walk in front of Ash. If he could open his eyes now, he would see Hanna wearing just the white shirt—just the white shirt.

Purple Moth bent over and gazed at Ash, her face full of confusion, “Strange, according to the videos that Yvalin sent , this should be right up his alley, and he did seem like he was about to lose control just now, so why suddenly…”

She thought about it for a while but couldn’t figure it out, though the result clearly satisfied Purple Moth even more—failing to control himself would an his attraction to her charm, but holding back demonstrated Ash’s willpower.

Hanna gently kissed him and said with a smile, “Good night, my knight.”
