Chapter 610: Chapter 492: Scallop Series_3

Apart from the normal seafood, they also offered exotic dishes like “Fish-Slicing Dragon,” “Mud Fish Dragon,” and “Fox Lamp Dragon” from the Void Realm. Although these ingredients were not much different from regular ones, it was exceedingly rare for creatures of the Void Realm to escape into reality. Even a top-tier noble family like the Belladett’s had difficulty acquiring such ingredients, so Yvalin certainly couldn’t pass up the opportunity.

As they diligently tackled the Fish-Slicing Dragon, a pair of tall, buxom Elves suddenly sat down next to them.

“Tasty?”

“Not bad,” Yvalin lifted her head and looked at Qinna, “Want so?”

“I wouldn’t dare accept generosity from the Belladett’s,” Qinna said with a smile. “I’m here to do business with you.”

“Business?” Yvalin felt slightly amused. “Vatican Mura doesn’t need amusent parks to provide happiness for its residents, and Mongfera doesn’t need rmaid scent to increase work enthusiasm; the Six Emblems won’t tolerate their people being dominated, and I would never allow a unified front to erge in Mongfera… What common grounds do we have for cooperation? Jointly developing Igula and Ash?”

“The Six Emblems currently have no need for Igula,” Qinna replied. “However, we clearly have mutual interests, such as… a path that hasn’t been thought of for seven hundred years.”

“Are you interested in greeting a sunrise without an Empress?”

Yvalin’s expression did not change, but Anfeier instantly grasped the Elf Clan Leader’s insinuation: “You want to deal with the Princess? On what grounds?”

“On the grounds of Ash Heath,” Nona stated.

Even Hanna could guess the checkmate move they had in mind; it naturally clicked for Yvalin at once. She suddenly smiled, “Give what they want, provide what they need—I’ve been schooled by the family motto once again… What do you want to do?”

“Out of all the guests here,” Qinna intently stared at Yvalin, “how many can you control?”

Anfeier’s expression changed, but Yvalin remained serene: “About three-fifths. But I won’t risk everything to gamble with you, nor will I reveal my full hand. At most, I’d let them muddy the waters and create chaos.”

“That’s sufficient,” Qinna leaned in closer to Yvalin, looking down on the younger family head who held even more power than she did: “Pleasure doing business.”

“Pleasure doing business.”

In just a few words, the two major powers of the Gospel had ford an anti-Yisu alliance. The reason for their hasty agreent was not only because they had little to lose, akin to buying a lottery ticket, but also because they were long tired of the restrictions imposed by the Yisu royal family.

Qinna didn’t feel it as intensely, but Yvalin acutely felt the absolute control exerted by the Yisu royal family over the kingdom—where Belladett’s “Flower-Shell System,” with virtually no barriers, could theoretically expand quite effortlessly. However, they were still confined to regions around Mongfera. Despite being national champions, they could only play in neighborhood matches, which was incredibly frustrating for anyone.

It seed as though an invisible hand existed in the Gospel, and whenever the Belladett’s tried to reach for sothing they shouldn’t, the invisible hand pushed them back. No matter how Yvalin tried to expand her lending business, as soon as it left Mongfera, it failed to thrive, and even the secret of “Giving what they want, providing what they need” was rendered utterly ineffective.

It wasn’t just Yvalin; her parents, grandparents, and ancestors for many generations had all tried to break free from the confines of the map of Mongfera, only to be swiftly pushed back into their cage. There were no administrative interventions, no financial sanctions, not even confrontations, but simply neglect.

Other families experienced the sa: Salo, rcury, the Six Emblems… These powerful forces renowned in their respective areas ultimately could not escape the prisons crafted for them by the Gospel.

So when Qinna asked Yvalin if she was “in for Yisu,” there was simply no possibility for a second choice for Yvalin—rationally, the Belladett’s must remove the obstacle that was Yisu to advance further; emotionally, how could Yvalin not covet the Supre position of the Kingdom of Gospel?

She was Yvalin, the ruler of millions in Mongfera, the ‘Bird Queen in a Cage,’ and her deep cravings for power had long perated her youthful heart!

“Give what they want, provide what they need” was not only the secret of the Dominion Faction but also its side effect! What desire could be more enthralling than power? What temptation could be more seductive than dominating millions?

Those who have tasted the sweetness of power are like wolves that have gone hungry for ages, never fully satiating their hunger! A million people, ten million, until the entire world becos one’s slaves—this is the ingrained professional ethic of every Domination Mage!

For Yvalin, she felt trapped in the Gospel, imprisoned in a kingdom filled with Miracles, blanketed in Gospel, with no real adventures to speak of.

This was happiness for the weak but misery for the strong.

Now that an opportunity to break this cage had finally presented itself, how could Yvalin not be willing to offer a little help?

In the plan concocted by Ash and Qinna, bringing Yvalin into the fold ant the success rate soared to 50%!

After quickly exchanging details of the plan through the Gospel Book, Anfeier suddenly realized a problem, “If Ash has already co, aren’t the others from Igula here as well?”

Qinna smiled faintly: “What do you think of these two chefs’ culinary skills?”

In the seafood area, occupied only by the Belladett sisters, the two chefs naturally beca their dedicated chefs. One with slightly darker skin was responsible for knife work, slicing, and cooking, while the other handled plating and seasoning…

It was at that mont that Yvalin realized sothing was amiss: she had no recollection of the other chef at all!

Height, hair color, skin, age, eye color… all his features were indistinct. Her attention was always locked on the food he presented, never sparing a thought for him, therefore never able to form a true image of him in her mind!

This was… attention domination by the Dominion Faction!

“Excuse , ladies.”

Under Anfeier’s blushing gaze, the blonde chef placed a plate of scallops on the table: “Your scallops are ready.”

PS: I’ll be taking a half day off because my schedule has gotten sowhat erratic, I need to make so adjustnts. Therefore, there will be only one update of 5000 words today. Moreover, we’re approaching the revelation of secrets and major plot developnts, and I need to think through all the details before I dare to proceed.
