She had to prepare herself, too, for after Ash and his companions fell, she would be the only enemy left for the creatures of the Void Realm. No matter how strong her illusion of a Miracle was, it could hardly be immune to the pervasive reconnaissance Miracle; she would have to endure the final minutes by creating advantageous terrain.

Every second passed, and new enemy types began to appear in the prison: Moon Shadow Priests and Blood Saint dics. Although still Two-winged Golds, Moon Shadow Priests specialized in Blessing Buffs, connecting everyone’s life energy, which drastically dropped the killing speed of Ash and his team; Blood Saint dics inflicted curses on the Hunter prisoners, causing a burst of corrosive blood arrows to shoot out upon their death, injuring Ash and his team more as they killed more enemies.

Weiser was growing more expectant.

Facing the relentless onslaught, Ash and his companions had consud most of their Magic Power; they would inevitably be overwheld by the creatures of the Void Realm. With their Wisdom, they surely recognized this point, so before they perished, would they quietly accept their fate or fiercely take down those they despised most?

Perhaps unconsciously, or perhaps sensing that closing their gaps might share the burden, the distance between the three of Ash’s team grew shorter.

Soon, they were forced to the central area, exchanging glances that revealed indescribable emotions.

But in the next second, they unleashed a ferocious Miracle of slaughter, charging at each other!

Weiser held her breath, waiting for the most brilliant scene to unfold—

Slam!

Ash’s rage-filled sword cleaved through the air, piercing through the chest!

Sonia’s Blood Moon shattered the lake, destroying everything!

Diya’s Empress gaze slaughtered the body!

After slaughtering those behind them, they gathered back-to-back, standing firm like rocks against the tide of Void Realm creatures.

"Have you guys recovered yet?"

"No, I still hate your guts and would love to strangle you with your own intestines, you miserable snitch."

"I... by constantly switching between my sisters... barely managed to stay calm..."

"Don’t consider as your friend or anything," Ash warned as he stood up, "This is the Void Realm’s curse ’Love and Hate Reversal,’ the more you dwell on your feelings, the more affected you beco."

"So, we have to return to square one, back to how it all started."

"Even if there are no feelings, even if we despise each other, hate each other, or even want to tear each other apart, it doesn’t matter. Did we ever have any bonds at the beginning? Did you guys ever like from the start?"

"But in the lonely Void Realm," Ash drew a defensive line with the ’Heart Pen,’ "we are destined to be inseparable comrades, teammates moving forward together."

"No need for any reasons, we are each other’s strength."

Weiser stared blankly as the three of them cooperated as usual, setting up defensive lines against the increasingly powerful Void Realm creatures, and due to her ntal shock, she almost failed to maintain her illusion, nearly getting noticed by a prisoner.

The mont the prisoner lunged, Weiser slapped and pressed down on him like smashing a mosquito against the wall until his head burst like a waterlon.

She had been so distracted that she forgot about concealing her close-combat skills in the Void Realm.

Watching Ash fight shoulder to shoulder with the Sword Witch even under the influence of Love and Hate Reversal, and easily neutralizing the crisis, even the always composed Weiser felt a deep sense of...

Resentnt.

...

Ash suddenly sat up, seeing the Observer had already packed and was ready to leave. He pulled him to the bedside and said, "You would never guess what happened to in the Void Realm—I actually wanted to kill the Sword Maidens! You can’t imagine what that felt like!"

The Observer’s eyebrows twitched, pulling away from his touch, and asked, "Did you kill them?"

"How could I? I couldn’t defeat them," Ash snorted, "Just thinking back makes break out in a cold sweat. I was controlled by the Witch, then the Sword Maiden was about to chop off my head with a sword... God knows how I dodged that."

You’re quite proud of not being able to beat them, aren’t you?

"Oh."

"So, the Void Realm really loathes the touch of the Gods of Four Pillars," Ash pondered aloud, "We survived this ti, but does that an each ti we enter the Void Realm we’ll have to endure an extra curse suffix? I didn’t gain any advantage from its touch, yet the difficulty increases for no reason?"

Feeling there was no need to indulge him with an analysis, yet to avoid giving him another topic to talk about, the Observer said, "You haven’t triggered any curse suffixes for so many days, which ans the Void Realm doesn’t often notice that you’re a touch of the Gods of the Four Pillars. Compared to the Void Realm, you’re simply too insignificant, like an insect on a giant’s body. Occasionally, if you itch the giant, the giant might notice and swat you, but most of the ti, the giant doesn’t care about you."

"I didn’t do anything though." Ash was puzzled, "How did I irritate the Void Realm?"

Magic power amplification, magical enhancent, surging desires, triggering special suffixes... There were indeed many legitimate reasons, but facing Ash, the Observer, for so reason, also grew impatient: "Maybe it’s because you were in heat."

Ash trembled, and imdiately locked the Observer in a chokehold on the bed, "Are you saying you know what happened to in the Void Realm!? Confess!"

As if the Observer could be subdued by such shallow tactics—he didn’t even use his real skills when he fought Yooran Weiser the previous night. With a simple flick and twist, he threw Ash off, but Ash, unprincipled in martial virtues, turned the fair contest into a wrestle of strengths. More importantly, the Observer didn’t want to hurt him and dared not attack vital areas like the eyes or throat.

After fooling around for a bit, the usually serene Observer couldn’t help but feel this was too humiliating and said, "I just figured it out."

"Am I that obvious!?" Ash exclaid in surprise, "No, is it because we complent each other, so you can imdiately sense any slight change in ?"

The Observer’s mouth twitched, but he could only swallow his frustration and said, "Yes, since we complent each other, I can naturally detect your mood swings, even if you’re just about to poop or pee."

Finally satisfied, Ash let go and went to wash up and have breakfast.

The Observer straightened out his wrinkled clothes, unlike Ash who didn’t pay much attention to his appearance. This was sothing the Observer could never understand about Ash; he rembered being ticulous about details since their ti at Shattered Lake Prison, careful in every aspect, from appearance to plans, flawlessly executing everything without a hiccup.

"Why can Ash be so carefree, almost as if he’s mastered the art of lazing around?"

Stay calm.

The Observer quickly cald his thoughts. He actually understood why he was feeling emotional, even though he was prepared, even though he had been through countless wars and upheavals. But that was Ash Heath after all, the Ash who still worried about his loved ones, the Observer who had not yet witnessed the end.

It was like looking at a photo from the past, inevitably stirring up a sense of nostalgia.

Even though he had always been just a bystander, now he couldn’t help but beco a participant in the reflection.

So, remain calm, don’t let trivial emotions cloud your judgnt, and don’t let a weak past restrain your thoughts.

The Observer opened his eyes, saw Ash sitting opposite him, biting an energy bar, and saying, "Observer, I have sothing I want to discuss with you."

"It goes like this, I have a friend..."

"It seems like he’s about to be confessed to..."

"But..."

The Observer listened calmly as Ash unfolded his intricate, convoluted love life, and couldn’t help but glance down at his watch to check the countdown tir for their break.

Why hasn’t the trial started yet?

Adelle looked at Sonia hiding under the covers, nudged Lois, and Lois looked towards Ingrid, who shook her head.

Gathering her courage, Lois climbed onto the Village Girl’s bed and asked, "Sonia, are you feeling okay?"

"No."

"Then why did you lie down as soon as you ca back?"

Sonia threw back the covers, pursed her lips, and looked puzzled. After a mont, she sat up and said, "I was just pondering over a question."

"What question?"

"I have a friend who just confessed, but she doesn’t know whether to consider it a confession or not..."

Adelle, Ingrid, and Lois squeezed onto her bed: "Go on."

Imperial Palace.

Liss wriggled out of Hanna’s embrace and hopped over to the mirror, asking, "Did Daddy ntion Liss today?"

The mirror showed the Witch sisters: "No, but sothing interesting happened."

"What?!"

White Queen: "Today, Ash was chasing us..."

"Oh oh oh!"

Black Butler: "And then we enthusiastically greeted him..."

"Wow!"

Red Death Cultist: "We even shot silk threads to tie him up..."

Liss covered her eyes, her fingers spread wide enough to see through, a face full of excitent, "Then what? Then what?"

Diya: "Then the Sword Maiden rushed over and almost chopped off his head."

Liss: "Σ(っ°Д°;)っ?"
