Chapter 948: Chapter 710: Good Thing You Ca

“Cough, cough, cough cough!”

Harvey coughed up black phlegm, trying to sit up but was powerless—after all, a person with only the upper half of their body and not even a complete spine lacks the critical parts needed to sit up.

A sliver of warm light squeezed through his squinted eyes as Harvey slowly opened them, seeing Qikara treating him. The beastman’s remaining right hand burned with orange flas, and as the fire continued to scorch, Harvey’s internal organs slowly regenerated within the flas.

“Snow,” the necromancer’s voice was hoarse, “has it stopped?”

“It’s lted,” said the beastman, “spring is here again.”

Harvey turned his head and saw a limitless blue sky with white clouds, snow weighing down lush green grass. A gentle breeze blew through, stirring waves across the prairie.

“I should have entirely transford into a necromancy creature, even my blood turning into corpse blood,” Harvey curiously asked, “how did you bring back?”

“How you beca necromancy, that’s how I turned you back to life,” Qikara said.

Harvey was slightly taken aback, then suddenly realized, “My eyes?”

In order to beco a necromancy creature, Harvey had gouged out his own eyes to replace them with Alice’s, so the only part of him not tainted by necromancy negative energy was his removed eyeball.

Harvey blinked and noticed that indeed, his left eye hadn’t regenerated yet, but the vision in his right eye was very clear.

Nonetheless, with just one eyeball, Qikara forcibly restored him to life, which is almost comparable to the Blood Rebirth. Such healing ability…

But the necromancer didn’t pursue this, instead, he asked another crucial question: “Why save ?”

Since Qikara could regenerate Harvey from just an eyeball, the beastman could surely heal his own limbs. He had previously burned off one hand and two legs using flesh and fla, theoretically, the priority should be to heal himself, yet he remained in a disabled state, using all his magic power to heal Harvey.

Moreover, Qikara had no reason to save him. They were not aligned, and Qikara had joined them because he surrendered in the Dead City, betraying the Four Pillars God Sect to beco their Holy Domain slave to survive.

Now that Alice was completely burnt out and the slave contract had expired, Qikara regained his freedom. Turning away was expected, leaving quietly would be kind. Saving Harvey painstakingly gained him nothing.

“Because it’s a healing mage’s professional ethics,” Qikara replied in a muffled voice, “to try to save every life.”

Harvey couldn’t help but laugh, “You’re a healing mage?”

“The Tribulation Fire Temple has rare water magic inheritance, but healing is always in demand, so we developed a set of healing fire technique,” Qikara said, “water magic has water therapy, fire magic also has fire cupping. Although the technique spirit for fire cupping isn’t as convenient as that for water therapy, it significantly accelerates self-healing speed, making regeneration stronger and, in the long run, potentially better than water therapy technique spirit.”

“I thought fire cupping was a torture thod that roasts people alive inside an urn,” Harvey said earnestly.

“I have always been a healing mage, all the way to the Holy Domain,” Qikara said, “and precisely because I am a healing mage who has seen too many deaths and wounds, I cherish life greatly. Those who advance to the Holy Domain through combat either fight Water rcury Horse to the death or are hard by it.”

“Why didn’t you tell us you were a healing mage?” Harvey curiously asked, “Igula’s attitude towards you would definitely be better—a role Ash always fills for healing profession.”

However, Qikara shifted the topic, “This fire magic miracle used to heal you is called ‘Life Fire.’ It’s the greatest achievent of our Tribulation Fire Temple’s healing fire techniques, and as long as there’s a trace of brain cells remaining, it can forcibly bring you back.”

“But Life Fire not only requires magic power; it also requires being ignited by life.”

Harvey opened his only remaining right eye and saw that the beastman had acquired many new wrinkles on his face. Only because the beastman already looked ssy that without close examination, it’s hard to notice.

No wonder this healing miracle is so powerful; it consus the healing mage’s own lifespan.

No wonder Qikara didn’t dare reveal this to Igula; if he exposed it, not squeezing the beastman’s lifespan dry would be considered a swindler’s conscience.

Fortunately, Qikara’s technique spirit is highly deceptive, appearing entirely as offensive technique spirits, so everyone assud he was a combat mage, with no one guessing he could use offensive technique spirits to form a healing miracle.

“I will help conceal this from Igula, though if he seriously questions it, I probably won’t be able to hide,” Harvey laughed.

“I never expected to escape Mr. Bokin’s sharp eyes,” Qikara smiled wryly, “can only hope your holand won’t be in danger.”

“Are you still thinking of leaving with us?”

“I have nowhere to go anyway,” said the beastman, “if leaving the wasteland, why not go where there are familiar faces? Besides… Harvey, haven’t you forgotten sothing?”

Forgotten sothing?

Harvey was slightly stunned before suddenly rembering, “My body!”

He is now regenerating from an eyeball, which ans his Blood Moon Corpse King form still exists!

“That’s no longer your body,” Qikara smiled, “look beneath you.”

Harvey turned his head to find he’s not lying on the grass, but within the embrace of a corpse… Alice’s corpse embrace.

Although it’s Alice, her appearance is unrecognizable, only the right eye remains intact while the rest is dried out with crack marks. Her arms wrap around her chest, resembling wings, seemingly protecting the necromancer within.

“I actually just used my best effort without expecting to truly save you,” Qikara said, “I placed your eyeball on it, then activated Life Fire hoping to seize your soul and life from its shell.”

“Turns out it couldn’t wait to eject you. I didn’t struggle much to transfer you back to the eyeball for regeneration, and your old shell beca Lady Alice’s new vessel.”

“Did she think I hadn’t reached the point of dying yet?” Harvey murmured.

“Ah?” Qikara was mildly surprised, then realized the necromancer was speaking to Alice. Nevertheless, the beastman had witnessed similar scenes many tis, finding it not strange at all.

“In this way, your contract with Alice still stands, and you remain a slave. However, you’ve saved , but I saved you before too, so I consider myself square with you,” Harvey said, “if you want to accompany us, I can assure you that you’ll be free from the slave contract.”

The beastman nodded, genuinely not expecting Alice could still exist, but this didn’t affect his decision, “I have a request from you, Harvey.”

“What is it?”

“I want to learn necromancy faction.”

Harvey was mildly surprised, his right eye staring intensely at the beastman.

Until the latter felt uneasy, Harvey finally showed a sincere smile, parting his lips to smile said:

“Okay. If Igula bullies you later, you can co to .”

As Ash, Igula, and Gwen passed through the Fog Gate of the silent fifteenth layer, they imdiately tensed and went into battle mode.

The fifteenth layer was a massive room, its walls displaying various images, but now nobody cared about its main the; everyone focused intensely on the confrontational parties inside!

On one side, a group of mages in Black Feather uniforms guarded the front of a Sky Gate passage. Their expressions were tense; although they held a nuric advantage, they dared not act rashly.

On the other side stood Tamasi, holding a Black Feather mage hostage. His Gray Fox Blade was already embedded in the throat of the captive mage, a slight movent could decapitate them! The hostage mage wore a face of resentnt, their eyes fearless yet restrained.

After so much effort, crossing nurous perils, they finally found the real deal!

Ash felt thrilled yet angry, hardly suppressing his rage, “Tamasi Ya Sha Jin!”

“Ash!”

Yet Black Crow was more excited than Ash. He turned towards Ash, his distorted voice couldn’t hide his delight, “You really ca.”

He then sighed deeply, “Thank goodness you ca.”

Ash and Igula both frowned, feeling quite puzzled; such weak words were unlike what Black Crow would say…

“Don’t bother with , don’t stop, don’t get involved with them, pass directly through this floor!” Black Crow shouted, “Hurry to the bottom layer to stop Silver Lamp!”

“She is already constructing the Destructive World Technique, preparing to destroy Senluo! Now only you can stop her!”
