They had anticipated that these Vishi were rely phantoms, but the speed at which they replenished was daunting, casting a shadow over their faces. Without finding a way to reduce the overall number of phantoms, it would be impossible for them to find the real Vishi.

"Wind." Weiser suddenly said, "The mist is the essence of the phantom; we need to use wind to dispel the mist."

Weiser wasn’t just randomly firing bullets earlier; she was using the reconnaissance miracle "Thousand chanism Trial and Error," ford by the Thousand chanism Technique Spirit and Illusion Technique Spirit. Each of her bullets carried a different attribute, which would dictate different sizes of question marks upon impact. This allowed her to quickly determine which attribute was truly effective.

"I don’t have a Wind Technique Spirit," Ash said in frustration.

"I do."

Weiser changed her magazine, and in a quick turn of thought, the Thousand chanism Technique Spirit transford into the Wind Scythe Technique Spirit. This was her combat style—never clash head-on, but instead, find the weak point, target it, and then...

Cut down and annihilate the enemy!

Bang bang bang!

The muzzle burst into flas, and bullets exploded in the mist, causing a torrent of wind scythes that instantly dispelled the dense fog!

The Vishi phantoms vanished into smoke, and for a long ti, they did not reappear. Weiser pressed her advantage, and with a chaotic dance of bullets, she completely cleared all the phantoms!

However, they still did not see the real Vishi, and the haunting song of soul’s lant continued unabated.

Worse still, they realized their spirits were nearly leaving their bodies. At this rate, they could hold out for an hour at most. Although they could previously endure for an entire day and night, it had now dwindled to an hour, indicating that this song was not only tugging at their souls but also weakening their resistance!

The effect of the Thousand Souls was rapidly diminishing!

Amidst the eerie singing, they could clearly hear Vishi’s voice: "Aha, you discovered the correct solution so quickly, not bad... But the mist of the Twilight Rosy Cloud Dragon is very unpredictable."

"Do you know, in the mist or dust, light forms clear lines, as if the divine is creating patterns on the world. This is basic knowledge of the Light Magic Faction."

"My proficiency in the Light Magic Faction isn’t great, just at the Legendary level, and I’m too shy to display it, but for a performance, it’s barely passable."

"Please enjoy my self-created Spiritual Light Trick... Death Shadow."

From early on, as Vishi spoke, Ash and Weiser had already closed their eyes, facing the ground back-to-back, not daring to observe the outside world. Most miracles of light magic take effect through the retinal ganglion; closing their eyes might shut off their senses, but it was better than being directly hit.

Even with their eyes closed, the two still felt waves gently brushing against their bodies, as if a feather was sweeping across their skin. They had a strong premonition—if they opened their eyes, these gentle caresses would penetrate their bodies through their eyes, filling them with tentacles!

Perhaps due to their closed eyes, Ash and Weiser suddenly found that the eerie song sounded clearer and more lodious. The song pierced their eardrums and squeezed into their thoughts, like a thick tongue stirring their brains through their cochleas!

Their souls were accelerating their escape from their tornted bodies!

Vishi’s two miracles turned out to be complentary killing moves!

Blocking vision and distorting hearing, the two nearly instinctively held each other’s hands tightly. Only the warmth of another human could sowhat alleviate their inner fear and cowardice.

Vishi hadn’t even used his wonders, yet Ash and Weiser were already on the verge of defeat, with death looming as only a matter of ti.

But they hadn’t lost yet.

As long as they remained near the Three Gods, as long as the Three Gods completed the ritual to seal the doomsday breach, as long as Vishi couldn’t destroy the ritual, everything would naturally turn around.

Therefore, they still had a chance. For Vishi to claim the divine being, he had to approach the Three Gods. As long as they could continue to obstruct Vishi, they could usher in the dawn of victory in the darkness.

"You... are quite tenacious. An ordinary Legendary Mage wouldn’t last long under these two attacks." Vishi’s voice echoed leisurely in their ears: "Looks like I can only use my strongest move."

"Yes, it’s the Daydream."

Ash and Weiser felt their hearts sink.

"There’s no disgrace in being controlled by Daydream earlier. Not only now, but even when I was alive, Daydream was a top-level wonder." Vishi said: "Its power lies in that it’s not just a soul or dream wonder; it’s an offensive prophecy wonder."

An offensive prophecy wonder?

Ash and Weiser felt a wave of confusion: How does a prophecy wonder attack?

"It requires another wonder of mine, the Premonition Dream, as a companion. Whatever target I see in the Premonition Dream, I can use Daydream to make it reappear as I saw it in the future."

"So, Silver Lamp, the reason you initiated the Destructive World Technique, Ash, the reason you protected her during its activation, is because it was a predetermined future." Vishi laughed: "I just made it happen sooner."

"Impossible!" Ash and Weiser exclaid in unison.

"Precisely because you think it’s impossible, that’s why it’s called a Daydream." Vishi chuckled lightly and continued, "You might think closing your eyes will prevent being caught off guard, but if it’s a trump card I rely on, how could it be so easily countered?"

"Soul’s Lant and Death Shadow, while weakening your resistance, have also created the perfect environnt for Daydream to launch!"

"So, let ask again."

"Fire Cat, have you ever had a daydream?"

Ash and Weiser were stunned for a mont, then a chill ran up their spines.

Boom!

The next second, they were blasted tens of ters away by a sudden explosion from the side, the rumbling sound endless. They rolled on the ground several tis, their heads buzzing from the shock, taking a few seconds for their ears to return to normal, feeling like they were shaken up like fruit chunks in a drink.

Ash imdiately used ’Joyful Sword’ ’Slash ’, barely regaining clarity, as he grabbed Silver Lamp’s hand to heal her. The two supported each other to stand and dared to peek through narrow slits to see what had happened.

They saw that the original location of the Three Gods had been blown into an enormous crater, surrounded by endless sea of fire. Whitedove and Blue Bird were also blown to the crater’s edge, injured and dazed, seemingly still trying to comprehend the situation.

The nearly sealed doomsday rift had once again split open.

The only victor was Vishi, standing in the center of the crater. He was holding a sleepy cat-eared little girl, evidently a super-shrunken version of the Fire Cat God, yet Vishi’s face burst with uncontrollable joy, his voice full of ecstatic satisfaction, "Knowledge and Guard Fire... in hand!"

Ash suddenly recalled sothing Vishi said not long ago, "... Knowledge Fire is prophecy rule, Guard Fire is truth rule, you basically can’t harm her through these two rules..."

The Fire Cat could be hard by prophecy magic!

From the start, Vishi never intended to fight them. Soul’s Lant and Death Shadow were all ant to weaken the Fire Cat, setting the stage for Daydream!

If what he said was true, in the future he saw, the Fire Cat chose to self-destruct, which is why he could so easily capture the Fire Cat!

Ash felt an indescribable rage and sha boil inside him, trembling all over, gritting his teeth and glaring at Vishi, as if ready to rush at the Ghost Prophet for a life-and-death struggle.

But then Silver Lamp suddenly grabbed his wrist.

"The Fire Cat was taken," she said without preamble.

Ash stared at her wide-eyed, the implication clear—I’m not blind.

"The Fire Cat was taken," she repeated.

"I know!" Ash said through gritted teeth, "We need to get her back, then the Three Gods can—"

"No." Weiser shook her head, "You couldn’t leave just now because you were imprisoned by the Fire Cat’s Guard Fire."

"Now that the Fire Cat has been taken, you can leave."
