After he fell down, Vaska imdiately tried to take the arrow out of his body and get up. But even after he took out the arrow, he was still unable to stand up as he felt his legs going numb.

This ti, Weiss had not used a slow acting poison but a fast acting one. Not just that but as Vaska was already tired after fighting so hard for so long, his resistance to poisons had decreased significantly.

As felt that his body was slowly turning cold, Vaska’s heart almost stopped. He had been alive for almost 40 years and had fought against many enemies throughout his whole life.

But this was the first ti when he had found himself on the doors of death. Vaska had always believed that he was not soone who was scared of dying. But when death actually ca to him, he truly felt fear.

As Weiss got closer, Vaska did his best to swallow his pride and got ready to beg for his life. As long as he was alive, there was a chance that he might be able to make a coback in the future.

But because of the poison, he was having a hard ti even just talking. So even before he could say anything, suddenly Weiss made her move and chopped his head off. A mighty knight, Vaska died with his eyes widened in anger, regret and desparation.

Weiss had no intention of making these two knights her subordinates. They were vicious criminals and were not trustworthy at all. So there was no way she was going to let them join her.

...

After the death of the two knights who were the biggest threats, cleaning up rest of the mbers of this organisation was not a big deal.

Weiss searched the whole underground base thoroughly and made sure to kill of all the remaining mbers present here. She needed to get rid of all of them in order to not reveal what had actually happened here.

Obviously she did not forgot about the wealth that was in this place. Not just money but this place was also filled with many weapons, booked and such. All of that beca Weiss’s property.

So this sudden operation had definitely been a massive success and had solved a vast majority of Weiss’s problems.

...

After she was done completely clearing out the underground base, Weiss also returned back to the area where the carriages were waiting.

There were so many things inside the underground base that even this many carriages were unable to completely take them away. So so of the freed people with working and fit bodies also helped out with the carrying process.

They sat with the items kept on their laps. So young children even sat down on top of the bags.

Leaving the city was quite easy as Karl had already taken care of all the troubles and had perfect control over this gap in the wall. Now they just needed to travel for about a week to get back to the Souran territory.

...

This large travelling group took their first break after about 3 hours. They travelled in full speed for these three hours to get away from the city as much as possible but now the slaves really needed so rest.

Most of them were already weakened and were not in a good condition. And after this hectic night, they were even more tired. So if they were not given at least so rest, they might just die from being too exhausted.

Weiss was aware of this, so as soon as she found a good spot for such a large group to rest, she imdiately stopped the carriages.

Weiss had made Karl to prepared a lot of food ingredients beforehand and this break was the perfect ti to use them.

Almost all the slaves were extrely hungry, so Weiss was going to feed them as much as they wanted. They were going to beco her subjects very soon, so feeding them until they were full was her duty in Weiss’s mind.

But Weiss was not really a very good cook. Even in her childhood when she had hunted and gathered fruits from the forest, she had basically just roasted the at over fire and nothing else.

Even during the journey from the Souran territory, it was actually Karl who was in charge of cooking. He had been sowhat good at this since his childhood, so Weiss had depended on him in this matter.

Obviously she had also kept an eye out to make sure that the food he was cooking was fine and not poisonous. And so far, Karl had proven himself to be trustworthy.

So this ti too, Weiss depended on Karl to make the food. The best she could do to help was by cutting the at and vegetables with her sword. But as soon as newly freed people saw this, they imdiately stopped her and started doing the work by themselves.

Many people among the slaves were good at cooking and with so many people working together, everything was done in a blink of an eyes.

As all the people got to put hot and fresh food in their mouths after so long, they could not help but cry a little. But this was not the tears of sadness but instead was the tears of joy.

Weiss also tested the food that everyone else was eating and even though it was a very simple nu, she enjoyed it a lot.

It was one of the best eating experience that she ever had. Weiss was not sure why it was the case but she felt so warmth in her cold heart while eating like this.

After everyone had eaten until they were full, Weiss told everyone to sleep. She was going to take the duty of guarding all of them for the night.

Obviously the people were not happy that their guardian goddess had to suffer for them but this ti, Weiss did not listen to them and forced all of them to go to sleep.

Even though it might look like it had been an extra tiring day for Weiss, that was actually not the case.

Almost everyday she had pushed herself to the edge while training her secret art as a knight. So this level of exhaustion was common for her. It was not sothing that she could not endure.

As everyone rested, Weiss treated one of freed slaves while she kept her strong senses active to look out for any dangers.

The person who was still getting treatnt from her was none other than lady who also had pure life force in her body. Her condition was the worst among all the slaves so even while travelling, Weiss had spend most of her ti taking care of hers.

Her body was injured not only externally by most probably that burly knight but also internally by her own life force. So Weiss needed to be very careful in patching her up.

Fortunately her knowledge about this kind of things was very solid, so her treatnt had already showed so result.

This lady had managed to co back to her senses and had even managed to eat a little bit.

Even though she looked really bad at the current mont, Weiss was confident that in one or two weeks, she would be able to heal this lady enough that she might even be able to move around normally again.

Obviously the main reason behind that would be her own strong self healing power as a forr knight.

With this in mind, as Weiss was busy diligently making sure that her bone structure was not distorted, she suddenly heard the lady trying to talk to her.

Weiss was curious about what she had to say, so she brought her ears close to her mouth.
