Now reading: Chapter 236: The True Form of the Cross Dagger from Marineford's Logistics Blacksmith, a Action novel by DaoistJinzu.

"So? Mihawk!"

"Isn't this little cross dagger especially beautiful?"

"I'm telling you, this blade can absolutely stay with you for a lifeti."

"A truly good blade forged from truly good steel. Even after the owner dies, the blade remains."

"In the future, if you have a son, you can pass this blade down to him."

"It'll definitely have more prestige than your current famous sword."

"Because this masterpiece was forged by yours truly, Hamr!"

Hamr completely failed to notice Mihawk's shattered expression as he proudly introduced the freshly forged dagger.

To be fair, the silver-white cross dagger really did look exquisite.

Under the sunlight, it glimred beautifully.

But the problem was, it was tiny.

So small it could barely even be called a sword.

Calling it a dagger would've been more appropriate.

"Hamr… are you sure you're not joking with ?"

At this point, Mihawk still held onto a sliver of hope.

He hoped Hamr was rely ssing with him and that this tiny dagger wasn't actually ant for him.

But reality was always cruel.

"A joke? What joke?"

"This was forged specifically for you."

"What an amazing blade."

"And it's convenient to carry too."

"See that tiny hole in the handle?"

"Later, you can thread a chain through it and wear it around your neck."

"It's both a necklace and a weapon."

This ti, it wasn't just Mihawk whose mind shattered.

Everyone stared at Hamr with complete disbelief.

Feeling everyone's attention on him, Hamr only grew more confident.

His grin stretched nearly to the back of his head.

But very quickly, he stopped smiling.

Because a sword intent soaring into the heavens suddenly began expanding violently.

The surrounding soldiers imdiately retreated after sensing the bone-piercing sword intent.

Fear appeared on their faces.

Because unlike before, this sword intent was filled with rage and brutality.

Even Hamr's laughter was torn apart by the pressure.

"Everyone fall back!"

Lance suddenly spread both hands wide.

Electricity instantly surrounded Mihawk as he barked the order for all soldiers to retreat.

"Mihawk, what are you trying to do?!"

Facing the furious Mihawk, Lance's expression darkened as he prepared for battle.

Not just him, Shirley, Dalmatian, and the others all stared at Mihawk seriously.

Only Moria stood off to the side with his arms crossed, happily watching the show.

"Damn you, Hamr."

"You picked the wrong person to fool around with."

"Even if I die today…"

"I'll leave a scar carved into your bones."

Mihawk slowly drew Yoru once more.

Dense Armant Haki gradually covered the entire blade.

A pitch-black longsword appeared vividly before everyone's eyes.

"Oh?"

"The embryonic form of a Black Blade?"

"So you've already reached this stage?"

"I really underestimated you."

"If you had used this power from the beginning, Lance definitely wouldn't have been your opponent."

"But Mihawk…"

"Why are you so angry?"

"Don't you like the blade I made for you?"

Veins bulged across Mihawk's forehead.

He couldn't tell whether Hamr was genuinely stupid or pretending to be.

How could he possibly like such a tiny useless knife?!

He was destined to beco the world's greatest swordsman!

Using a blade like this, He'd rather continue being called the Prince of Tearing the Nights!

No, wait!

Neither option was acceptable!

Hamr had to die!

Mihawk had decided it!

"Draw your weapon, Hamr!"

"I'll make you understand the price of mocking !"

"Oh?"

"You want to challenge with your blade?"

"Fine."

"Then let show you just how hard Iron Hamr's hamr really is."

Facing the fully ard Mihawk, Hamr casually picked his nose like Garp.

Then he calmly picked up the little cross dagger.

"You look down on my blade?"

"Hehehe…"

"Mihawk, then let show you exactly how fun this blade really is."

With that, Hamr once again drew the dagger from its sheath and pointed the tip toward Mihawk.

A mischievous grin appeared on his face.

At this mont, Mihawk's back faced the open sea.

The perfect angle for an attack.

"Hmph! Co then, Hamr!"

"Where the sword points!"

"I tore the dream apart all night long~"

The roar and the song sounded simultaneously.

A dark-green slash exploded outward.

Behind Hamr was the Warhamr's command room.

If Hamr dodged, Mihawk was confident this slash would shave off the ship's entire upper section.

After all, Yoru, already showing the beginnings of a Black Blade, had greatly increased in sharpness and destructive power.

Combined with Mihawk's fully unleashed Armant Haki, its might was incomparable to before.

But Hamr had absolutely no intention of dodging.

He simply extended the small dagger forward, the tip aid directly at Mihawk.

Then he shouted loudly: "Shoot him down!"

"Keal!"

Terrifying Armant Haki instantly covered the dagger completely.

But then, sothing astonishing happened.

Hamr's pitch-black Haki should have fully coated and assimilated the dagger.

Yet the dagger seed to possess a will of its own.

Instead of being dyed black, it absorbed the Haki while its blade grew brighter and brighter.

"Whoosh!"

Before anyone could understand what was happening,

Hamr moved.

No, the dagger moved.

The blade transford into a streak of light, shooting toward Mihawk at a speed invisible to the naked eye.

The streak instantly pierced through the dark-green slash.

Mihawk's Observation Haki imdiately sensed a deadly threat.

He hurriedly raised Yoru before his chest.

CLANG!

The streak slamd directly into Yoru.

Mihawk instantly felt an unimaginably terrifying force transmitted through his arms.

Yoru nearly flew out of his hands.

Startled, Mihawk imdiately gripped the sword with both hands and used all his strength just to stop it from being knocked away.

But the monstrous force continued pushing him back.

His entire body was forcibly shoved off the Warhamr's deck and out above the sea.

The streak of light kept extending.

Very quickly, Mihawk had already been pushed over thirty ters away from the ship.

"What the hell is this?!"

Mihawk roared unwillingly.

Finally, the streak stopped extending, and Mihawk fell into the ocean.

But before falling, he finally saw the true nature of the light.

It was a sword.

That tiny cross dagger!

SPLASH!

As Mihawk fell into the sea, his mind was filled with question marks.

He didn't understand.

He simply couldn't comprehend it.

Everyone else reacted exactly the sa way.

Every single person stared fixedly at the revealed blade.

The little cross dagger in Hamr's hand had sohow extended to over thirty ters long.

And from the mont Mihawk was blasted away until he fell into the sea,

Only one second had passed.

In other words, this blade had transford into its current thirty-ter form within a single second.

Everyone's expressions were completely absorbed into Hamr's eyes.

"Hahahahahaha!"

"This is the blade's true form!"

"I call it…"

"Keal!"

...

If you don't get the reference, go search for that judge from Forged in Fire.

"It will KEAL."
