"Hmph! You evil man! You actually want to seize our Tontatta Kingdom's holand!"
"You're a devil!"
Gancho was furious.
In his eyes, the Marines moving into Green Bit ant they intended to occupy the dwarves' holand.
The usually kind and gentle chief of the dwarves instantly exploded with anger.
This left the other three people present completely speechless.
Especially Hamr.
"No, Chief, when did I ever say I wanted to invade your holand?"
"I'm simply building a Marine Branch on Green Bit. That doesn't affect the Tontatta Kingdom continuing to live here at all."
"Of course, I personally hope to gain the dwarves' approval, and I'd also like to invite the dwarves to participate in the branch's construction."
"After all, once the branch is established, won't the biggest beneficiaries be the Tontatta Kingdom and Dressrosa?"
Hamr explained his intentions in what he believed was the gentlest tone possible.
Unfortunately, those words only made Chief Gancho even angrier.
What did he just hear?
This bastard even wanted to enslave the dwarves and force them to work?
Good heavens.
How could such a devilish person exist?
"You even want to enslave my people!"
"You wicked devil! Heavens above, strike him dead with lightning already!"
Hamr: '?????'
'No, when did I ever say I wanted to enslave the tontatta???'
'And lightning strike dead?'
'Oi, Lance, co over here and show them sothing.'
King Riku, who understood Gancho's personality well, couldn't help but burst into laughter.
This dwarf chief was good in every way and extrely kind-hearted, but he always over-imagined things out of nowhere. It was truly helpless.
"Uh… Chief Gancho, you're overthinking this."
"I'm a Marine. How could I possibly enslave your people?"
"To be honest, I'm a blacksmith. King Riku and Princess Scarlett can both testify to that."
"Dressrosa is rich in high-purity wrought iron, and I can maximize the value of that wrought iron."
"That's also one of the reasons I chose Green Bit as the location for the branch."
"A win-win situation still requires cooperation from all three parties."
At that point, Hamr paused briefly.
"Chief Gancho, I'm very aware of the dwarves' uniquely gifted abilities."
"For extrely precise work, your people can accomplish things as easily as walking on flat ground."
"That's why I specifically wish to establish a strategic partnership with the dwarves."
"I can promise you this: as long as I remain on Green Bit, the dwarves' lives absolutely will not be disturbed."
"And cooperating with will only improve your lives."
The master of manipulation had returned.
Whether they understood or not didn't matter.
First persuade them, ask questions later.
Sure enough, under Hamr's sincere tone, the anger on Gancho's face gradually subsided.
Even King Riku clicked his tongue in amazent beside them.
Deep down, he had to give Hamr praise.
This guy's speaking ability was incredible.
"Hmph. You say all the right things, but how can I trust you?"
Although Hamr's words sounded better than a song, Gancho, as the chief of a tribe, remained extrely cautious.
That gave Hamr a headache.
'Damn it, why is this old guy so hard to deal with?'
'Then why did he surrender to Doflamingo so quickly in the future???'
'Damn it.'
"Sir, I'm a Marine! A Marine, understand? I'm part of the official military!"
"How else am I supposed to guarantee it?"
"Look at this Justice coat! Look at these Vice Admiral epaulettes! Look at this sincere face of mine!"
Hamr practically lost it, grabbing his cloak and pointing at it while ranting wildly.
The sight was so ridiculous that King Riku and Scarlett burst into laughter.
It was simply too funny.
"Hmph. If the dwarves cooperate with you, what do we gain?"
In the end, Gancho chose to trust Hamr.
After all, the Riku royal family had personally introduced him, and it was obvious the royal family supported Hamr's proposal.
If he stubbornly continued opposing everything, it would only make the situation harder to develop.
"First of all, the dwarves' safety will absolutely be guaranteed."
"With my branch here, no matter what problems arise, the Marines will handle them."
"And the dwarves can cooperate long-term with the branch in developing wrought iron production."
"As for the profits earned, I can allocate a portion of them to the dwarves."
Gancho fell into thought.
Truthfully, the dwarves had no real interest in profits or wealth.
Only their safety truly mattered.
Even if the man before him was a Marine, could he really protect the dwarves?
Hamr narrowed his eyes.
He seed to understand what the chief was worried about.
"Chief Gancho, watch carefully."
A powerful aura began radiating from Hamr's body.
It was the unique aura possessed by the strong.
Scarlett beside him also narrowed her eyes slightly as traces of Conqueror's Haki spread from her body to resist Hamr's pressure.
anwhile, King Riku and Gancho felt two terrifying forces around them rapidly intensifying.
Hamr had originally only intended to display a bit of his presence.
But he suddenly realized Scarlett's Conqueror's Haki was growing denser and denser.
Feeling intrigued, he unconsciously released his own Slacker King Haki.
The clash between two Conqueror's Hakis instantly caused the sky to change color.
"Hahaha! Scarlett, your Conqueror's Haki is getting stronger and stronger!"
"Chief Gancho, watch closely."
While using his Haki to offset Scarlett's, Hamr suddenly clenched his right fist tightly.
The muscles all over his body bulged violently as he smashed a punch into the air.
CRACK!
A horrifying scene appeared.
The atmosphere itself shattered, and the terrifying sound of hamring instantly echoed throughout all of Green Bit.
"This… is Whitebeard's power?"
King Riku's eyes widened enormously.
Gancho beside him wore a face full of terror.
DUANG!
Following the hamring sound, an invisible shockwave blasted straight toward the sea, kicking up enormous waves.
Even the Fighting Fish swimming in the ocean were swept upward along with the waves.
But under the impact of the hamr strike, those Fighting Fish were instantly crushed into fish cakes.
The sight even shocked Scarlett enough that she unconsciously withdrew her Conqueror's Haki.
The scene before her was simply too terrifying.
At that mont, two figures rapidly rushed toward Hamr's location.
CRACK!
Another flash of lightning appeared as Lance arrived nearby with a serious expression.
"Hamr! Where's the enemy?!"
Another white figure arrived shortly after Lance.
It was Shirley.
The two of them scanned the surroundings while fully expanding their Observation Haki in search of enemies.
"Hehe, let introduce them."
"My first mate and officers."
"Lance, Logia-type Rumble-Rumble Fruit user."
"Shirley, Paracia-type Shield-Shield Fruit user."
Hamr laughed loudly as he withdrew his abilities and introduced his subordinates.
Then he gestured for Lance and Shirley to relax.
Only then did the two realize there were no enemies at all.
Hamr had rely been flexing his strength.
"Vice Admiral Hamr, next ti you decide to show off your muscles, could you please consider the feelings of the people around you?"
Hamr grinned sheepishly, leaving Shirley utterly speechless.
