Markets and Multiverses (A Serial Transmigration LitRPG) Chapter 448: Planning the Next Step

I spent the next few hours giving Felix an introduction to this world. I spent a particularly long period of ti discussing the System with him, as well as what that ant for us. He was very interested in the possibilities that a local System opened up for us - after all, we had never encountered one before, but it seed to give us all sorts of potential advantages if we pushed the System far enough. Unfortunately, Felix was greatly disappointed when I talked about the crafting Sparks we had available to us - naly, there weren’t any. However, after I finished listing all of the sparks I knew the towns had access to, Felix caught sothing I hadn’t.

I asked.

I paused. I said, after several seconds of embarrassed silence.

I nodded thoughtfully. Felix had made a good point. I was glad that he had noticed this - otherwise, he might have gotten stuck with a Class he didn’t really want, rather than sothing that actually fit him - and fit our future needs.

said Felix.

I said, before I started to use my magic to get a better view of the area again. I transmitted the images to Felix, and the two of us spent a few minutes swapping viewpoints and images. Eventually, we confird sothing rather disappointing.

I said, feeling a pang of sadness.

I mulled over Felix’s words for a few minutes, before I nodded. I didn’t really think that Felix starting out poor was an advantage to him… but I got the feeling Felix was looking on the bright side. Besides, Felix was more than capable of making his circumstances work for him no matter what happened. I had faith in my friend. If he stumbled, or he needed my help, I would provide it unconditionally - but unless he needed help, I would leave him to his own devices.

I asked.

I resisted the urge to laugh.

Then, I realized I had forgotten to ask Felix about his own starting stats.

A mont later, Felix sent his starting stats through the communication bracelet.

The two of us chatted for another half an hour, before the front door to my house swung open, which nearly caused to jump in shock. A mont later, my father re-entered the house, before he picked up and gave a hug. He smiled at .

“I’m back, Mir. We cleared out the initial few wave of monsters. There’ll probably be another few over the next couple days, but nothing too dangerous. We got pretty lucky today - no casualties.”

“Is that so? I’m glad to hear it,” I said. I swapped my attention back to the conversation with Felix.

said Felix. I smiled. At the very least, my father had been safe for the first day of fighting, and Felix was back. We had a plan for the future, even if we were missing so details, and we had a good idea what we could do to prepare for the fight for more lives. Things were looking up.
