Married For Now Chapter 206: HOUSEWIFE ERA

SOHEE’S mother-in-law sent half of their household staff to their apartnt to help him with the chores.

President Kang Nari could have just hired their own household staff mbers.

But my mother-in-law can’t trust other people easily after everything that has happened recently, especially now that I’m heavily pregnant. So, she sent half of the household staff that she trusts the most.

He also cooked more rice than usual, and prepared both napa cabbage kimchi and radish kimchi. Those two side dishes paired well with galbi-jjim, after all.

Of course, he also prepared the usual side dishes that Kim Heedo enjoyed.

It’s a lot of work, but it’s worth it.

Sohee blushed when the household staff mbers said their goodbyes to him while calling him ’young madam.’

He took pictures of the dinner that he had made earlier. Then he downloaded an app to edit the pictures. And, just like that, ti had passed by.

"I’m here, Heedo-ya," Sohee said, throwing his phone on the sofa before getting up from his seat. "Welco ho..."

He trailed off and knitted his eyebrows when he got a whiff of a strange scent coming from Kim Heedo.

And that scent...

"Oga?" Sohee said, frowning. Before he knew it, he had already grabbed Kim Heedo by the collar. "Kim Heedo, were you with an Oga all day?"

Because an Oga’s scent would only cling to an Alpha if they had been together for at least a few hours.

Of course, at the back of Sohee’s head, he knew Kim Heedo wouldn’t cheat on him.

But that didn’t change the fact that he hated another Oga sticking close to his husband.

"The sunbae that supervises at work is an Oga, Hyung," Kim Heedo explained carefully in a calm tone as if he were trying to console Sohee. "His na is Jang Yeonwoo. Yes, he is an Oga. But his scent only clung to because we worked together all day. He didn’t do this on purpose, Hyung."

"Are you being protective of him?"

"Hyung, that’s not the case. I’m just explaining because I don’t want you to be upset," Kim Heedo explained, still calm. But Sohee could see the fear in his eyes. "I knew you would catch Yeonwoo Sunbae-nim’s scent on , so I could have showered and changed my shirt before coming ho. But I didn’t want to hide the fact that I’m working with an Oga. Nothing happened, and nothing will happen. Please trust , Hyung."

Okay, that kind of talk actually worked.

Sohee liked how calm and soothing Kim Heedo’s voice was while explaining to him.

To be honest, his husband didn’t have to explain because even though he was acting illogically at the mont, he still trusted him.

He just couldn’t control his emotions well since he was pregnant.

"I’m sorry for making you upset, Hyung," Kim Heedo said carefully. "I’ll ask for a new supervisor tomorrow. If it’s not possible, then I’ll look for a different job— one where only Alphas are allowed."

"A place that only allows Alphas isn’t a good place," Sohee said, scoffing. "You don’t have to do any of that. I just overreacted a bit since I didn’t know you’d be coming ho with the scent of an Oga clinging to you. But if you managed to stay with that sunbae-nim for long, then I assu that sunbae-nim is a decent person."

He didn’t want to admit this, but Kim Heedo could really be snobbish sotis.

"Yeonwoo Sunbae-nim is a decent person. He experienced discrimination from Alphas while working in this field, so he was a bit wary of in the beginning. SOHEE raised an eyebrow while watching Kim Heedo finish his fifth bowl of rice.

As an Alpha, his husband had always been a big eater.

But this was the first ti he had seen Kim Heedo eat that much white rice.

"Heedo-ya, is the galbi-jjim that good?" Sohee asked, half-amused and half-worried. "I thought I cooked enough to have it as our breakfast tomorrow. In fact, I thought I could pack so for your lunch. But you finished everything..."

"Hyung, it’s really good," Kim Heedo said after eating with so much gusto. "I’ll gain weight quickly because you feed so well."

Sohee rembered his phone conversation with his husband earlier.

Is that it?

"Heedo-ya, you don’t have to gain weight to make feel better. I’m already fine. I was just trying to act like a brat earlier."

"Hyung, I love everything you cook. It won’t be your fault if I gain weight. I really enjoy eating the food you make for . After all, you make them with love."

That was so cheesy.

But I love hearing sweet nothings from Heedo.

"You told your sunbae-nim that you’re already married, right?"

"Yes, Hyung."

"Who else knows?"

"Only that sunbae-nim, Hyung. I don’t talk about my personal life to other people. But I’m not hiding the fact that I’m already married."

"Then wear your ring starting tomorrow."

Kim Heedo inford Sohee that he would wear his wedding ring as a necklace because he didn’t want it to get lost while working.

Heedo is still gaining the weight that he lost while he was in a coma, so his ring actually got a little loose around his finger.

"I want everyone at your work to know that you’re already married," Sohee said sternly. "And that you have a pregnant Oga waiting for you at ho. Is that clear, Kim Heedo?"

Kim Heedo looked shocked at first, and then he grinned. "Yes, Hyung~"
