Married For Now Chapter 221: A LITTLE FLASHBACK

SOHEE smiled while looking at the pictures from the gender reveal party a few months ago.

All the photos were beautiful.

Jang Yeonwoo’s photography skills as a fan site master didn’t go anywhere.

His younger friend even captured the mont President Kang Nari and Vice Chairman Kim Dohan— his in-laws— got teary-eyed after Sohee and Kim Heedo cut the cakes.

And, after the party, they sent so many clothes and toys for our babies.

Oh, the match-making that day was also a success.

Yang Jaewon is still trying to win Jang Yeonwoo’s heart, but according to Kim Heedo, Yang Jaewon is winning.

On the other hand...

Dr. Seong and Gong Hanseo-ssi are already dating, I think.

Sohee picked up another photo album.

IF THE gender reveal party was already small and intimate, the baby shower was even smaller.

Sohee had a nice dinner in a fancy restaurant with his in-laws the night before because, unfortunately, President Kang Nari and Vice Chairman couldn’t attend the baby shower. His in-laws had a prior commitnt, after all.

Thankfully, both Kim Haewon and Kim Hanhae were available to attend the baby shower.

Of course, Go Gunjoon— his younger half-brother— also attended the event.

Aside from Sohee and Kim Heedo’s siblings, their friends were also there: Hong Sera, Cho Euntak, Yang Jaewon, Kwon Gaon, Lim Garam (with Baby Gunwoo, of course), and Jang Yeonwoo (who volunteered to be the event’s photographer again).

The baby shower was being held at the hotel penthouse suite that Hong Sera had booked.

It’s her family’s hotel.

"Sohee Hyung, I feel bad that I didn’t bring a gift," Go Gunjoon said after he brought Sohee a plate of different fruits. "You forbid from bringing a gift, even during the gender reveal party."

"Uh-huh."

Sohee got a bit tired after socializing with his friends earlier, so he took a break and in the parlor room of the penthouse suite.

That was when Go Gunjoon brought fruits for him.

"Hyung, I have savings, you know? Heedo Hyung-nim sends a monthly allowance, and it’s a huge amount."

Ah, right.

Since Sohee decided to support Go Gunjoon’s studies, Kim Heedo insisted on sending allowance to his half-brother.

He almost forgot about that part.

I’m sure the allowance that Heedo sends to the kid is higher than an office worker’s monthly salary.

"Gunjoon-ah, you’re not the only one I asked not to send gifts," Sohee consoled his half-brother. "Heedo and I asked our guests not to bring gifts, even during the gender reveal party. Instead of asking for gifts, we just asked our guests to donate to the charities that we support."

It just made sense because they had everything their children could need.

Hence, instead of asking for gifts for their little family, they thought asking the guests to donate to their chosen charities would be better.

"Gunjoon-ah, you know that, don’t you?"

"Yes, Hyung. I’ve donated to the charities that you listed in your invitation," Go Gunjoon said, and then he handed a white envelope to Sohee. "But I still want to give a present to my nephews."

"Can I open this now?"

"Sure, Hyung."

Sohee opened the enveloped, and then he burst out laughing.

Coupons.

Go Gunjoon’s gift was a coupon that said: ’Unlimited Babysitting Coupon.’

Aww.

I’m touched.

"This is so thoughtful of you, Gunjoon-ah," Sohee said, and he was being sincere. And then he hugged the coupon close to his chest. "I love it so much."

Go Gunjoon’s face bead with pride. "I’m glad you loved it, Hyung. You can use the coupon anyti you need soone to babysit your kids. I’ll drop everything for my nephews."

"Aww. My babies are lucky to have an uncle like you."

Go Gunjoon scratched his cheek as if he were shy.

This is why I can’t completely hate my mother. She was a terrible mother to , but she raised Go Gunjoon well.

"Pretty Hyung!"

Hmm?

The door suddenly burst open, and then Gunwoo— Lim Garam’s precious son— entered the room while holding the hand of a pretty little girl.

Who’s that baby girl, though?

"Pretty Hyung, this is Seowon-ah!" Gunwoo introduced the girl to Sohee excitedly. "She’s my girlfriend!"

Pfft.

Seowon, the little girl, bowed politely. "Hello, Pretty Oppa. I’m Seowonnie, Gunwoo’s girlfriend."

Sohee couldn’t help but chuckle. "You look so cute together, kids."

Go Gunjoon smiled and nodded in agreent. "These kids just reminded that I’m single. Aigoo."

Gunwoo and Seowon grinned as if they were proud of themselves.

"Sohee-ya, did the kids disturb your rest?"

Oh, it was Lim Garam.

"Not at all, Hyung," Sohee said while shaking his head. "But who’s the girl with Gunwoo-ya? I didn’t see her co with you earlier."

"The kids isn’t ours," Lim Garam said. "Actually, Seowon-ah just arrived with the guest that Sera-ya invited."

Oh!

Then...

Hong Sera’s new friend is here!

Sohee’s face bead when the door burst open again.

This ti, it was Cho Euntak who ca— smiling widely while discreetly pointing at soone behind him.

And then Hong Sera finally entered the room...

... with a very tall and handso man.

Wait, I know that face!

Hong Sera’s friend wasn’t just very good-looking, he was also a famous actor!

"Baek Semin-ssi, aka the Makjang King," Sohee said in disbelief. He couldn’t believe that the main character of the makjang/soap operas that he loved watching was standing right in front of him. "You’re the man who popularized the ’kimchi slap’ on TV!"

What a legend!

SOHEE’s reminiscent of the past was only interrupted when his stomach suddenly hurt.

Babies, are you coming out already?

Damn, the pain was starting to get worse.

Yep, I think my babies already want to co out.

Sohee imdiately closed the photo album and grabbed his phone.

He called Kim Heedo.

Thankfully, his husband picked up the call even though he was supposed to be at work.

"Yes, Hyung?"

"H-Heedo-ya..."

Sohee had to take a deep breath while holding his baby bump in one hand— the pain was starting to beco unbearable.

Shit, it really hurts...

Of course, he knew that he should have called an ambulance or at least the security guarding their apartnt.

But he wanted to hear Kim Heedo’s voice.

Moreover, his husband would call for the help that he needed anyway.

"Hyung! What’s wrong? Are you in pain?! I’ll co ho right away!"

"Hurry up, Heedo-ya," Sohee said weakly, shutting his eyes tightly. "I think it’s ti..."
