"I’M SUPPOSED to plan a very grand date, but in the end, I just decided to book a suite in a very fancy hotel," Cho Euntak said while having dinner with Cho Euntak. "It’s the hotel owned by Heedo Hyung’s company, so don’t be shocked when you see your bank statent later."

Obviously, he used Baek Jeho’s card.

"It’s fine," Baek Jeho said casually. "I told you to use my card to your heart’s content."

"Jeho-ya, if you keep spoiling like this, I’m afraid I’m going to be lazy."

"Lazy? How?"

"I might adapt the lifestyle of a rich housewife, you know? Doing arts instead of working. Opening an aesthetic café or a flower shop that doesn’t earn profits. Donating to charities for less privileged children. Volunteering in animal shelters. Travelling abroad regularly. Anything but doing real work to earn money. And, yet, my bank account has too many zeroes in it because I have a rich husband."

"So, like a trophy husband?"

"Except I don’t think I’m pretty enough to be a trophy husband? You have to be really beautiful for that role, you know?"

"Exactly— you’re pretty, Euntak-ah."

"Love really makes people blind, huh?"

"Yah. It’s true. Don’t you know I developed the bad habit of biting my nails because of you? I get anxious every ti we’re outside. Even though I’m standing next to you, people are still ogling you like they want to devour you!"

Since Baek Jeho was just spouting nonsense, Cho Euntak ignored his boyfriend and started eating his delicious al.

He cooked the pork cutlet curry himself, and it turned out great.

I should cook this for Sohee Hyung and Sera Noona later.

"But since Kyungmin Hyung advised against covering you with my pheromones, I can’t do anything other than glare at your admirers..."

Cho Euntak continued spacing out while Baek Jeho was yapping.

"Tell if that bastard shows up again— I’ll abuse my power as a chaebol’s husband."

That was what Park Sohee said.

"I’m a chaebol, and I have older brothers and sisters-in-law who are ready to dirty their hands for my sake. If I ask them to make Kim Minjae disappear without killing him, then that person will really disappear without a trace. Not even Uncle Jaedong can stop them."

And that was what Hong Sera said.

Cho Euntak was really lucky that he got on the two’s good side.

"Well, that was the initial plan," Baek Jeho confessed. "I already know your ring size, and I also know that you prefer silver over gold. I’m actually thinking of giving you a ring with either a platinum or a white gold band to match your preference."

Cho Euntak didn’t rember telling Baek Jeho that he preferred silver over gold because silver matched his skin tone better.

So, his boyfriend probably paid attention.

I only wear silver accessories, and Jeho noticed that.

That was nice.

"I’m confident that I can choose a ring that’s your style. But, then, I rember that you’re an artist," Baek Jeho continued. "And I heard most artists are really particular about what they like. So, instead of surprising you, I think you’d like it more if we chose our couple rings together."

Aww.

"For the record, I would probably love the ring that you chose for because you know my style really well," Cho Euntak said. Yes, he was now paying attention to Baek Jeho since his boyfriend was done throwing tantrums. "But I appreciate you giving a choice. Actually, I want to try making our own rings. Of course, the materials wouldn’t be as expensive as what you would have bought for . But I think it would be more aningful that way."

Cho Euntak was an artist, after all.

I like making stuff with my own hands.

"Then let’s do that," Baek Jeho agreed easily. "Let’s make our own couple rings."

"Aigoo. You’re so easy, Baek Jeho. I feel like you’d jump off a bridge if I told you to jump."

"Should I do it?"

"What?"

"I’ll jump the bridge in Han River if you tell , Cho Euntak."

Pfft.

"You’re so down bad," Cho Euntak said, smiling. He felt like his cheeks were about to burst from smiling too much, but he couldn’t help it. "Baek Jeho, you like too much."

Baek Jeho smiled and nodded. "Thank you for noticing, babe."

OKAY, so today was D-day.

Aka the day Cho Euntak would lose his virginity to Baek Jeho.

Whew.

They went on a nice picnic in the morning, a fancy lunch on the yacht that his boyfriend owned, and then they finally went to the five-star hotel that they booked.

Of course, they had a light dinner first in the famous restaurant there.

After that, Cho Euntak and Baek Jeho checked into the presidential suite that they booked.

His boyfriend let him take a shower first.

But Cho Euntak was stuck in front of the mirror, giving himself a pep talk.

"You can do this, Cho Euntak. You studied well for this day. Plus, you brought all the essential things you need to prepare."

The ’essential things’ were a bottle of lube and a box of finger cots (aka finger condoms).

He blushed, but he had to let go of his inhibitions.

"Let’s do this, Cho Euntak. No backing out," Cho Euntak said, glaring at himself in the mirror. "Let’s see if sex is really worth its hype."
