WHEN Sohee woke up, he found himself lying down on a bed.

His mother lifted her head and gave him a cold look. "Sohee only called after the doctors were done patching him up. And he only called because he wanted to ask if he could borrow our legal representatives for his case."

Heedo clenched his hands tight. "Did they catch the kidnappers?"

"Yes, and I’ll make sure they’ll rot in jail," his mother said, standing up. "I almost didn’t answer the call since it was from an unknown number. Fortunately, Shaman Jung gave a piece of advice the last ti we saw each other. He told to keep my lines open, especially during an unexpected mont."
