"WOW, they really can’t dance."

"I know, right? But their stage presence is crazy."

"I’m a casual fan of a few idol groups, so I’m used to seeing synchronized dancing. But this kind of performance is good, too. Even if it’s just a music show, they perform like it’s a concert."

"And they sing live. It’s rare for an idol group to sing live these days. Wow. No wonder the second-generation idols are legendary even now."

Pfft.

Sohee couldn’t help but chuckle while listening to Hong Sera and Cho Euntak talk about ViBo’s performance.

The three of them were in the villa’s theatre room.

Yes, we have a theatre room here.

And they had been there for hours now.

Luckily, a DVD of ViBo’s last concert before their hiatus was still available online. They bought it and watched the concert for two hours.

After that, they went to WeTube to watch the music show performances of the group.

They never ran out of snacks and canned softdrinks while watching since the two nannies took turns bringing them food like a big bucket of popcorn.

This is really fun.

Sohee could tell that Hong Sera and Cho Euntak were enjoying the ViBo performances, after all.

I guess my recruitnt is a success~

"Hyung, I understand now why you like this group," Cho Euntak said, his eyes sparkling. "It’s a sha that they’re not active anymore. If they were, I would stan them for real."

"Let’s hope for a coback," Sohee said cheerfully. "I actually t Garam Hyung-nim at the banquet last night. We promised to keep in touch."

"Be careful, Oppa," Hong Sera said worriedly. "Garam Oppa’s husband is known for being overprotective of him. And he also gets jealous easily."

Oh, right.

Sera is also a chaebol, so it’s not a surprise that she’s acquainted with Garam Hyung-nim and his husband.

"I’m jealous that Noona and Hyung have already t Garam-ssi."

"Oh, I just see Garam Oppa sotis. But I’m not close to him since his husband is scary," Hong Sera said, and Sohee nodded in agreent. "Though I didn’t know Garam Oppa used to be an idol."

"And you’re probably a child when they were active," Sohee added. "They went on a hiatus when I was in high school."

"Oppa, I’m only two years younger than you," Hong Sera reminded him, smiling while shaking her head. "I’m just not into idols before. But now I’m interested."

", too," Cho Euntak said while nodding. "I know we decided to find an idol to stan, but after watching ViBo’s performances, I’m not sure if we’ll find a group that will et our standards."

"I’m sure we’ll find if we look in the right place."

"Ah, Yang Jaewon’s family owns BBS," Hong Sera said. The BBS that she ntioned would be the Beomsoo Broadcasting System (BBS)— one of the three biggest broadcasting companies in Korea. "We can ask him to give us access to be a part of the live audience of their station’s music show."

Cho Euntak gasped softly. "We’re going to act like nepo babies? I already feel guilty..."

Sohee and Hong Sera both laughed softly at Cho Euntak’s innocence.

"Euntak-ah, this noona will show you how great it is to have the right connections," Hong Sera said while patting Cho Euntak’s shoulder. "Don’t worry. I’ll make sure we won’t be stealing other people’s place."

Cho Euntak looked relieved by that.

The three of them were about to watch another video performance by ViBo, but the nannies ca to fetch them.

"Let’s watch more videos later," Sohee said cheerfully. "For now, it’s barbecue ti."

Cho Euntak nodded eagerly. "Yes, Hyung."

"Oh, right," Hong Sera said excitedly, clapping her hands once. "I have an announcent to make."

***

A SERIALIZATION offer.

Sohee was pleasantly surprised after Hong Sera shared the good news with him and Cho Euntak while they were having a barbecue party.

I can’t believe it...

An editor from NaviToon— a famous webcomics online platform— reached out to Hong Sera.

And, yes, it’s the company that Lim Jinwook’s family owns.

Lim Jinwook was the ex-boyfriend of Kim Heedo’s stalker— who turned out to be Lee Junsu’s friend.

Crap.

Lee Junsu crossed my mind again.

Sohee shook his head ntally, only focusing on the good news.

This might be the start of my career as a webcomics artist.

"Noona, did you reply to the person who reached out to you?" Cho Euntak asked excitedly. "What did you tell them?"

"I told them I’ll discuss it with you first," Hong Sera said, smiling. "It seems like they’re really interested in our comics since they even gave us their personal number. They said to contact them at any ti."

Cho Euntak clapped his hands softly.

"They probably saw the potential in your story, Sera-ya," Sohee said, smiling. "Honestly, I can already see Gacha Girl doing well when it gets serialized. The feedback that we got from the readers was explosive. President Woo Yuri and Vice President Doh Allen of our club won’t stop singing us praises."

"Thank you, Oppa," Hong Sera said. "But my story wouldn’t have co to life if it weren’t for you and Euntak. Your dreamy art gave life to Gacha Girl. Thank you for working with ."

"No, thank you for trusting us, Sera-ya," Sohee said while shaking his head. "I’m just a mid artist, and I have no prior experience in making webcomics. And, yet, you chose out of all the artists who would have loved to work with you."

Cho Euntak nodded eagerly. "Sohee Hyung is right, Noona. Thank you for letting a freshman like join this project. I gained more confidence in my art while working with you and Sohee Hyung."

Aww.

"We had fun while working on our project, and now our hard work is paying off," Hong Sera said, and then her voice cracked while getting teary-eyed. "Thank you for helping believe in myself and my talent again, Sohee Oppa and Euntak-ah."

Oh, damn.

Sohee thought Hong Sera was really pretty.

She’s even pretty when crying. If I cry like that, I’m sure Kim Heedo will divorce right away since I’m an ugly crier.

Han Raehyun was one lucky bastard.

Hong Sera was beautiful, kind, and rich.

"N-Noona, don’t cry," Cho Euntak said between sobs. "You deserve this success..."

Here’s another pretty crier.

Most Alphas were masculine and the first word you’d want to use to describe their good looks would be ’handso.’

But Cho Euntak was really pretty.

This kid can easily pass as an Oga.

Aside from Cho Euntak’s visual, the kid was also innocent and bright. There was just sothing about Cho Euntak that could heal your soul when you looked at his face.

No wonder that Baek Jeho kid couldn’t let go of Cho Euntak.

Sohee suddenly got pissed off on his own.

I know I’m being biased because I don’t know the full story. But Han Raehyun doesn’t deserve Hong Sera, and that Baek Jeho kid better leave Cho Euntak alone.

Sohee felt like it was his responsibility to protect Hong Sera and Cha Euntak from heartbreak.

***

LATE NIGHT swimming.

The villa had a private pool, so Sohee and his friends took a dip while continuing their conversation earlier.

Hong Sera wore a cute and modest one-piece swimsuit.

Sohee and Cho Euntak both wore swim shorts, without a top.

Thank goodness the night wasn’t that cold.

And I’m glad that marks on my body are faint now.

"So, we all want to accept NaviToon’s offer," Hong Sera said. "Won’t it affect your studies, though? I’ll be fine after I write the script. But working on the webcomics will surely consu ti."

Right now, Sohee and the kids were sitting on the side of the pool while drinking the mojito that the nannies prepared for them.

"I’m not on a scholarship, and I’m not studious either. I just want to graduate and have a degree," Sohee said, and he was being serious. "As long as I don’t fail my classes, I’ll be fine." He then turned to Cho Euntak. "How about you, Euntak-ah?"

"Oh, I think I’ll be fine since I’m only a freshman. I’m not that busy yet," Cho Euntak said positively. "Plus, I’m good at studying and ti managent."

Sohee and Hong Sera patted Cho Euntak’s head affectionately.

What a good kid.

"Young lady, Young Masters, you have guests."

"Guests?" Hong Sera asked one of the nannies who inford them about the guests. "But I didn’t invite anyone else other than Sohee Oppa and Euntak. Who are these guests, Auntie?"

Sohee suddenly had an ominous feeling about this...

It can’t be Kim Heedo, right?

***

SOHEE DIDN’T want to believe it, but it was really true.

Kim Heedo was one of the uninvited guests!

What is this brat doing here?!

Worse, it wasn’t just Kim Heedo.

Han Raehyun and Baek Jeho were also there.

What the hell is going on?

"Hyung, why are you naked?" Kim Heedo asked worriedly, taking off his jacket while practically running towards Sohee. Then he imdiately draped it over Sohee’s shoulders. "What if you catch a cold?"

"I’m not naked, you brat— I’m wearing shorts," Sohee said, sighing while shaking his head. Then he grabbed Kim Heedo’s hand. "Let’s talk sowhere else."

***

HONG SERA never thought that the day she wouldn’t be happy to see Han Raehyun would co.

But here it is now.

She brought Han Raehyun to her bedroom while thinking of what to make of that situation.

Am I allowed to be angry about this?

"It’s cold," Han Raehyun said while helping Hong Sera put on her bathrobe. "Why are you swimming with that hyung and kid at this hour?"

"Because we’re here to swim and have a good ti," Hong Sera said, still trying to be calm. "Raehyun-ah, why are you here?"

"Can’t I be here?"

"I’m surprised you didn’t bring Jin Minki with you."

Han Raehyun flinched, and then he frowned. "Sera-ya, are you being jealous of Jin Minki again?"

"Yes," Hong Sera said bluntly. "Because you keep giving reasons to question our relationship and your relationship with him, Han Raehyun."

***

CHO EUNTAK let out a sigh while looking at Baek Jeho.

Hong Sera brought Han Raehyun to her bedroom, and Park Sohee brought Kim Heedo to the pool area.

He didn’t know where to go, so he just remained in the living room with Baek Jeho.

"You didn’t pick up my calls, Cho Euntak."

"I was busy all day," Cho Euntak said. "Do you have sothing so important to tell that you had to go all the way here?"

"Are you upset?"

"Why wouldn’t I be upset, Baek Jeho? I’m trying to keep my distance from you now that you have a girlfriend. So, why are you doing this?"

"That’s the part that I don’t understand, Cho Euntak. Why does our friendship have to change just because I have a girlfriend now?"

"Because it hurts ."

Cho Euntak didn’t know what ca over him.

But he suddenly felt the strong urge to confess— to confess before letting go.

"I don’t understand," Baek Jeho said, knitting his eyebrows. "You’re hurt?"

"Because I like you, Baek Jeho," Cho Euntak said in a weak voice while clenching his hands tight. His heart was thumping hard and fast against his chest— causing him pain. But he said what he had to say. "I’m in love with you, just in case it wasn’t clear enough."

***

HAAAH.

Sohee tried to find Kim Heedo’s action "cute," but he couldn’t.

Not even when Kim Heedo gave him the puppy dog eyes he usually couldn’t refuse.

But not at the mont.

Stalking shouldn’t be romanticized.

"I have so many things I want to say, but I’m already tired. So, let just say one thing first," Sohee said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Kim Heedo, we’re not having sex until I get my next heat cycle."
