When Qin Gengyun returned ho, it was noon, and Qiu Zhihe had already prepared the al.
The family of three sat down to eat, and Qin Gengyun ntioned the invitation from Si Minglan.

Qiu Zhihe’s expression remained calm. She placed a piece of at in Qin Gengyun’s bowl, saying curtly:
"Being ranked twentieth on the beauty list, naturally she would be better-looking than ."
Though her words were humble, the disdain in them almost overflowed onto Cyan Luo Lane.
Liu Su covered her mouth, laughing quietly, while Qin Gengyun sighed helplessly and asked, "Let’s talk serious. Darling, I truly can’t figure out what Si Minglan is up to."

After lunch, Qiu Zhihe cleaned up the dishes, and Liu Su joined her in the kitchen to wash. Qin Gengyun wanted to help but was sent to the Alchemy Room to cultivate by Qiu Zhihe.
Once Qin Gengyun shut the door and began his cultivation, Liu Su grinned and whispered:
"Brother-in-law only knows that Si Minglan is ranked twentieth on the beauty list, unaware that the Saintess ranks second; if he were told, he’d probably be scared to death."
In the Celestial Immortal Pavilion beauty ranking, Xia Qinglian is second, Ye Xiyue third, and Su Hongling fourth. Indeed, a twentieth-ranked Si Minglan isn’t qualified to compare with Xia Qinglian.

The voice sounded distant yet was filled with allure and enticent.
Any other male cultivator would surely have been restless by now.
But Qin Gengyun’s mind was filled with thoughts of his wife’s serene dignity and gentle beauty, making him indifferent to the deliberately seductive voice.
Opening the door, he saw a table laid with sumptuous dishes and fine wine.
On the floor lay a colorful dress, even won’s lingerie.
Qin Gengyun was surprised; he heard the splashing of water and an alluring voice so seductive it seed to drip with temptation:
"Alchemist Qin, I forgot to bring my clothes, could you please bring them in for ?"
