The moonlight was bright, casting its glow upon the mulberry tree in the courtyard.
Amidst the lush green leaves, clusters of purple-red fruit hung down, with Wei Wan sitting beneath the tree, staring absent-mindedly at the mulberries above her head.
As a child, her father threw her into an uninhabited valley, where she was too weak to fend off the demonic beasts there.
Unable to find food, she almost starved to death.

Yun Wu clasped Qiu Zhihe’s hand, quietly asking, "Sister Qiu, will she be alright?"
Qiu Zhihe looked at Yun Wu in puzzlent, "Why do you care about her?"
"I... I don’t!" Yun Wu quickly denied.
Qin Gengyun said, "Don’t worry, Susu is just entering her Sea of Consciousness, bypassing the restriction to see if there are any valuable residual mories."
The last ti Liu Su used the Mist Spirit Eye to probe Wei Wan’s Sea of Consciousness, it was discovered that many mories were restricted.

Yun Wu covered her mouth with both hands, looking at the still sleeping Wei Wan on the bed.
Having been cherished by her father since childhood, it was hard for her to imagine that parents could abandon their own daughter!
