Liu iqin’s anxious expression froze on her face.

The words, like an ice pick, pierced into her ear.

"What... what did you say?"

Lin Wan Yi looked at her.

The face that was once filled with sorrow and streaked with blood was now clean as ice.

All the vulnerability and confusion had vanished.

She spoke softly.

"I said."

"My child is at ho."

"Drinking milk."

Boom.

It was as though sothing exploded in Liu iqin’s mind.

The color drained completely from her face, and her lips trembled, rendering her speechless.

She instinctively took a step back.

And bumped into the desk behind her.

"No..."

"Impossible..."

She shook her head madly, pointing at Lin Wan Yi.

"You deceived ! You were clearly crying earlier! You clearly..."

Lin Wan Yi smiled.

The smile was faint, yet it was akin to the sharpest knife, slicing open Liu iqin’s facade.

"I was acting."

[Climax Point 1] Exposing the acting face-to-face, transforming from prey to predator, letting the antagonist experience the humiliation of being intellectually crushed.

Liu iqin’s pupils contracted fiercely.

Acting?

The tears earlier, the breakdown, the disorientation...

Were they all an act?

Lin Wan Yi stood up.

Step by step, she walked up to Liu iqin.

"Did you believe it?"

The three words were like three slaps on Liu iqin’s face.

"Ah—!"

Liu iqin scread, her voice so sharp it changed in tone.

"You sched against ! Lin Wan Yi, you vile woman, you sched against !"

She finally realized.

This was a setup.

A setup crafted precisely for her from start to finish!

"Bang!"

Dean Li slapped the table.

His face was ashen, pointing at the mad Liu iqin.

"Enough!"

"Liu iqin!"

The dean’s voice was devoid of any warmth, each word cold as ice.

"Deliberate poisoning, harming the family of a classmate, attempting to murder the child of an active special-operation hero."

"Your actions go beyond re misconduct!"

"It’s a cri!"

The word ’cri’ was like a bolt of lightning striking Liu iqin’s skull.

Her entire body went soft, nearly collapsing to the ground.

No.

It can’t be.

Her father is the deputy section chief of the Logistics Departnt; she just wanted those two little brats to have diarrhea for a few days, how could it be a cri?

"It wasn’t !"

She spun around suddenly, pointing at Li Li who was kneeling on the ground, trembling like a leaf.

"It was her! She did it! It’s all her doing!"

Liu iqin, as if grabbing at a final lifeline, shouted frantically.

"She envied you! That’s why she targeted your child!"

"She was afraid of being found out and dragged into this, trying to fra !"

"Dean! Don’t believe her! She is the mastermind!"

[Climax Point 2] The antagonist’s desperate struggle, biting back at her accomplice, showcasing a grotesque drama of betrayal, further highlighting her baseness.

Li Li, who was being accused, trembled violently.

She raised her head sharply.

That tear-streaked face was full of ultimate fear and betrayal.

"It’s not true!"

Li Li summoned all her strength and crawled toward Dean Li and the security staff.

She cried out mournfully, her voice wrenching.

"It was her! She forced !"

"Yesterday, she was expelled from school, and her father was suspended! She loathed Lin Wan Yi!"

"She called out, gave a package of dicine saying it was scraped off from her family’s rat poison and instructed to pour it into the milk powder!"

"She said, even if it didn’t kill, it would make the child fall dreadfully ill, letting Lin Wan Yi taste the pain!"

"She promised that once it was done, her father would arrange a good job for !"

"I was scared! I was truly scared! But she threatened , saying if I didn’t comply, she would find soone... soone to ruin !"

Li Li’s cries struck like hamrs on the hearts of everyone present.

Everyone looked at Liu iqin with disdain and disgust.

Vicious.

Those four words weren’t enough to describe the vileness of this woman.

Liu iqin was completely dazed.

She stared blankly at Li Li who had spilled everything, mouth open, but no sound erging.

It was over.

All over.

Dean Li closed his eyes, unable to suppress the anger and disappointnt on his face.

He looked at the two security personnel.

"What are you still standing there for?"

"Take her away."

His voice was cold enough to freeze.

"Take her directly to the Public Security Bureau."

The security personnel shivered, imdiately stepping forward, flanking the distraught Liu iqin.

"No!"

"I won’t go to the Public Security Bureau!"

Liu iqin finally reacted, beginning to struggle desperately.

"Let go of ! You can’t arrest ! My dad is Liu Jian Country! If you dare touch , he won’t spare you!"

However, the security personnel ignored her shouting, their arms like iron pincers, holding her tightly as they dragged her out.

"Lin Wan Yi!"

Dragged to the doorway, Liu iqin turned back fiercely, her eyes brimming with the most malevolent hatred.

"I won’t let you go even as a ghost! You and your little brat, just wait for !"

"And you! Li Li! You treacherous turncoat! I curse you to a miserable death!"

[Climax Point 3] The antagonist’s impotent rage and curses as she’s taken away, serving as the highest dal of the protagonist’s victory.

Her vile curses faded as her figure was dragged away down the corridor.

The room finally quieted.

Only Li Li’s uncontrollable sobs remained.

Dean Li sighed deeply, turning to Lin Wan Yi, his expression apologetic and fearful.

"Classmate Lin, I apologize for the scare."

"Our school has failed terribly in educating students on morality."

Lin Wan Yi shook her head.

"Dean, thank you."

Her deanor was calm, as if the storm earlier did not affect her at all.

...

At the sa ti.

In a private office at the National Defense University.

Gu Yanshen put down the docunt in his hand.

The telephone on the desk rang.

He answered, it was the guard Xiao Zhang.

"Captain, the matter is resolved."

Xiao Zhang’s voice carried a hint of restrained excitent and lingering fear.

"Madam is safe, she set up a trap and caught that Liu iqin on the spot."

"Dean Li issued the order personally, and the person has been taken to the Public Security Bureau."

Gu Yanshen listened quietly, showing no expression.

"Mm."

He responded with only one word.

"But..." Xiao Zhang changed his tone, "The people I had keeping tabs on the Liu Family reported that Liu Jian Country has been continuously on the phone."

"Seems like he’s trying to pull so strings to get her out."

Gu Yanshen tapped his fingers gently on the desk.

"Understood."

He hung up the phone.

The office was silent.

The man leaned back in his chair, gazing out the window.

After a few seconds."

He picked up the red phone on the desk.

Dialed a number.

The call was swiftly answered.

"Old Zhou."

Gu Yanshen’s voice was very calm and very quiet, showing no emotion.

"Help investigate soone."

"Peking University Logistics Departnt, Liu Jian Country."

The person on the other end acknowledged.

Gu Yanshen looked out the window, the sky already dark.

He slowly spoke.

"I want him, and his entire family."

"In Beijing."

"To disappear completely."
