Zhang Jinquan wasn’t in a rush to answer Cheng Zongyang’s question, and he continued to speak in a calm, unhurried manner:

"I had Luo Zheng feed these Red Blood Pills to so of his animals. I discovered that not only did it reduce their need to eat, but it also slightly enhanced their qi and blood, promoting their growth. But more importantly, it actually stimulates their primal, biological urges!"

Cheng Zongyang was taken aback. He asked uncertainly, "You an... these Red Blood Pills allow them to mate at any ti, regardless of their natural cycles?"

Zhang Jinquan smiled. "That’s right. They’re no longer restricted by their mating seasons."

Cheng Zongyang was speechless.

’What the hell is this stuff?’

Animals only reproduce when they are in heat. If this pill really worked as described, allowing animals to act like humans, it would completely upend the natural order.

It promoted growth and allowed them to engage in this primal behavior whenever they wanted.

No wonder people were willing to pay over a hundred Points for a single pill. Qi Essence Pills were better for aiding one’s cultivation, yet no one was buying those.

’Are the buyers human or Demon?’

"Are there any side effects?" Cheng Zongyang asked after a mont. "Don’t you feel the sa urges when you take them?"

Zhang Jinquan shook his head slightly. "Not that we’ve seen so far. But even if there were side effects, it would probably just cause the animals to expend a massive amount of energy, right? Hahaha!"

As he finished, Zhang Jinquan couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

Cheng Zongyang didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.

Still, he had to have so other people test it. If it didn’t have that... secondary effect on humans, it would actually be quite good for cultivation, especially for Martial Artists on the verge of reaching Entry Grade or those in the Lower Three Grades.

"I’ll take a bottle later to test on ordinary people and Martial Artists. You can handle the rest as you see fit." He then looked at Luo Dingran. "You can try raising the price. Slowly probe and see how much they’re willing to pay."

"Yes, my lord," Luo Dingran said with a smile.

But then, a thought occurred to Cheng Zongyang, and he asked Zhang Jinquan, "You’re using the Red Jade Ganoderma for this. Is it being consud quickly? Don’t use it all up."

Zhang Jinquan smiled. "Rest assured, my lord. I’ve cut it into five pieces and am growing them in a blood solution. Their growth rate is decent. It won’t be an issue, but if we had so Exotic Beast Blood, the growth speed would likely be much faster."

Upon hearing this, Cheng Zongyang turned to look at Luo Dingran.

Luo Dingran understood Cheng Zongyang’s unspoken question and gave a wry smile. "I’ve already sent Ma San, Xu Yang, Zhang Lan, Zhou Zhihua, and Han Mo out. All four of them, aside from Han Mo, are skilled fighters, so I had them team up to give it a try. Han Mo went to gather dicinal herbs."

"Doesn’t that leave us short-staffed in the territory?" Cheng Zongyang asked.

"The main work was at the fishponds, but the second one is already finished, so we’re not in a rush," Luo Dingran said.

Cheng Zongyang looked at Zhang Jinquan. "See? Is there any reason to worry when Steward Luo is handling things?"

"Hahaha, I never said a thing," Zhang Jinquan said with a laugh.

Cheng Zongyang and Luo Dingran both broke into a smile.

After taking a bottle of Red Blood Pills, Cheng Zongyang and Luo Dingran left the small courtyard.

Afterward, Cheng Zongyang went to the courtyard shared by Jing Xuan and Emperor Huang.

One of them possessed an extraordinary creative talent, while the other was a master craftsman who specialized in making Beastman Bows and Arrows. Thanks to them, Ma San’s group had a sufficient supply.

Li Xingyun and Emperor Ye were in charge of farming.

The sweet potatoes and potatoes had already been harvested with an extrely high yield. A portion was stored in the Preservation Warehouse, while the rest would be used as seeds to expand the cultivated area.

Furthermore, the Wilderness Oil Beans were almost ready for harvest. When they were, Cheng Zongyang planned to take so to the village to be planted. In the future, they could be used for pressing oil.

He then had Luo Dingran carry a crate of old texts to a small courtyard behind a hut in the marketplace.

Ding Xing was in charge here. He was currently staring off into space, completely lost in thought. On the table in front of him lay books and Cultivation thod Manuals intended for transcription.

Ding Xing’s Talent was Outstanding Comprehension. Stored here were all the books, Cultivation Techniques, Martial Arts manuals, and cultivation insights he had collected.

It was essentially a miniature Scripture Pavilion.

The purpose of transcribing them was not just to create backups, but also to gain a deeper understanding of the various texts and Cultivation Techniques.

Ding Xing had originally been helping Zhang Jinquan, but Cheng Zongyang later gave him this separate assignnt.

With his Talent for Outstanding Comprehension, perhaps he could achieve so sort of breakthrough by studying these texts and Cultivation Techniques.

That was why Cheng Zongyang had assigned him this task.

He had Luo Dingran gently set down the crate and wait.

Cheng Zongyang walked over to his side, but Ding Xing didn’t react at all. Cheng Zongyang realized he must be in the middle of a sudden enlightennt, lost in a deep trance.

He glanced at the book on the table, a volu titled "Body Nourishing thod."

Cheng Zongyang was puzzled. ’What kind of enlightennt could one possibly gain from a re Body Nourishing thod?’

But he knew better than to disturb soone in such a state, so he left quietly. As for the crate they had brought, Ding Xing would deal with it himself once he noticed it.

Once they were a good distance away, Luo Dingran asked, "My lord, was there sothing you needed to tell him? I can pass on the ssage for you later."

Cheng Zongyang shook his head. "It’s nothing, I was just checking in. His Talent is quite rare. He might surprise us in the future, so it’s best to just let him be."

"Yes, my lord," Luo Dingran replied, saying no more on the matter.

Seeing that there was nothing else to attend to, Cheng Zongyang made so preparations, gathered so gear, and, taking the all-important Town Recall Talismans, headed for the coast.

He had never used any of the three Town Recall Talismans he possessed; they had only dropped once. They were a finite resource—each one used was one gone forever.

He wasn’t in a hurry to return to the County Town. While he didn’t feel like venturing on a long-distance expedition just yet, a trip to the seaside sounded nice.

Beachcombing... That was sothing from his past life.
