Looking at the corpses of the two mid-stage Ninth-Tier Heavenly Court Realm martial artists on the ground, Hengmu, Li Hanshan, Xin Wuyue, and other young masters stared blankly, secretly calculating their chances of victory if they were to face these two. The result sent chills down their spines. Against two mid-stage Ninth-Tier Heavenly Court Realm experts, they would barely survive, let alone win; it was a complete pipe dream.

From the Changxin Academy contingent, Master Haitang, Yue Haitang, drew a shallow breath, his eyes shimring with astonishnt. "So powerful! Even two Ninth-Tier Heavenly Court Realm experts working together can’t defeat him."

Feng Linshan, standing nearby, nodded in agreent. "No wonder Cang Nanyue thinks so highly of him; he truly is exceptional. Haitang, if you were to fight him, what are your chances of winning?" Feng Linshan looked at Yue Haitang.

Yue Haitang’s eyes flickered. He shook his head slightly and said, "Victory would be difficult. The odds are likely fifty-fifty, unless he has trump cards he hasn’t revealed."

Feng Linshan wasn’t surprised by this answer; he knew Yue Haitang’s strength very well. If Yue Haitang said so, then he must indeed have a fifty percent chance. However, this was the first ti he’d seen Yue Haitang take soone so seriously.

Luo Feng exhaled, ignoring the corpses on the ground, his expression calm and serene. In the Secret Realm, he had managed to withstand ten attacks from a late-stage Ninth-Tier Heavenly Court Realm light phantom, and now he possessed a Grade Two Spirit Weapon. It would be strange if he couldn’t kill these two.

Looking around, Luo Feng noticed Bing Ruolan and the others were still locked in fierce battles. They were evenly matched with their opponents and seed to be in no imdiate danger.

Just as Luo Feng was about to help them, his sharp gaze suddenly shot towards the crowd. A figure within the crowd was furtively retreating. Once clear of the throng, it imdiately transford into a streak of light and fled deeper into the desert.

Duanmu Xiong... Watching the retreating figure, a glint flashed in Luo Feng’s eyes. His feet barely touched the ground as his body tore through the air, chasing with lightning speed.

WHIZ! In the scorching desert, Duanmu Xiong executed his Light Martial Arts, streaking towards the desert’s edge.

Damn it! How did this kid’s strength increase so quickly?! Recalling the earlier scene, Duanmu Xiong clenched his fists, unable to suppress a furious roar, his face contorted with resentnt. He had initially assud Luo Feng would undoubtedly die when facing two mid-stage Ninth-Tier Heavenly Court Realm martial artists. However, the outco was completely unexpected: Luo Feng had actually killed them both!

I must inform the family imdiately! This brat must be eliminated! Otherwise, in a year or two, he’ll beco a grave threat to the Duanmu Family! Thinking of Luo Feng’s terrifying strength, Duanmu Xiong felt a chill run down his spine. A murderous glint flashed deep in his eyes, and he quickened his pace.

As Duanmu Xiong raced onward, a light voice suddenly sounded beside him, "Duanmu Xiong, where are you scurrying off to in such a hurry?"

"Who is it?!" Duanmu Xiong exclaid, startled. He whipped his head around, and his expression changed drastically. A young figure had appeared beside him, unnoticed. The youth had short, black hair and wore a Purple Sun gold-trimd martial uniform. His sharp eyes, like blades, gave him a distinct aura. Who else could it be but Luo Feng?

"Luo Feng! When did you catch up to ?" Duanmu Xiong’s voice trembled slightly as he stared at Luo Feng. Luo Feng was only a hundred ters away, yet Duanmu Xiong hadn’t sensed his approach at all. This unsettling fact made his spirit quaver.

With steps that seed slow yet were incredibly swift, Luo Feng easily kept pace beside Duanmu Xiong. He touched his nose and smiled lazily. "I’ve been with you since the mont you fled. I just saw you were so focused on running, I didn’t have the heart to interrupt."

Duanmu Xiong’s mouth twitched. Knowing he was no match for Luo Feng’s Qinggong, he stopped and glared fixedly at him. "I miscalculated! I should have killed you that day in the Red Chain Mountain Range! No! The mont you moved against Duanmu Yu, I should have gone to Purple Sun School and dealt with you myself!" At this mont, Duanmu Xiong was consud by regret. If he hadn’t feared the danger and had pursued Luo Feng deep into the Red Chain Mountain Range, perhaps today’s disaster wouldn’t have occurred.

Luo Feng stopped ten ters in front of Duanmu Xiong, his hands clasped behind his back. He chuckled, "Unfortunately for you, you’ve run out of chances. I told you in the Red Chain Mountain Range: the next ti we et will be your doom."

Duanmu Xiong’s expression turned grim, then he suddenly burst into a ferocious laugh. "Luo Feng, you are indeed strong, but don’t think I’m just fish on a chopping block for you to carve up!"

"Panluo Golden Body!" Duanmu Xiong roared. His robes billowed as if stirred by an invisible force, snapping audibly.

BUZZ!

As his Yuan Qi surged, nine golden halos materialized above his head, and his body erupted with dazzling golden light. He seed transford into a golden man, his aura imnse and imposing.

"My Panluo Golden Body Skill is a Profound Level Martial Art! I’ve cultivated it to the peak state of nine golden halos! Even the Sword Qi domain of the Sword Heart Golden Scale Fruit couldn’t harm . What can you possibly do?" Duanmu Xiong laughed heartily. In terms of defense, his Panluo Golden Body Skill far surpassed that of ordinary mid-stage Ninth-Tier Heavenly Court Realm martial artists.

Although Luo Feng had just defeated two martial artists from the Zhou Family, Duanmu Xiong believed it was largely because they had been careless. If they had been cautious from the start, it wouldn’t have ended that way. A sliver of hope flickered in his heart.

ZING!

Gazing at Duanmu Xiong, who was wreathed in golden light, Luo Feng smiled faintly and drew his Fury Fla Knife. "It seems you still don’t grasp your situation. Fine. Let’s see shatter your golden body!"

With the Fury Fla Knife in hand, Luo Feng’s entire deanor changed. Sharp energy surged around him, tearing the surrounding air to shreds with a piercing shriek. A massive, blade-like phantom materialized behind him, flickering with arcs of lightning. The combination exuded an extre sharpness that made one’s scalp tingle at the re sight.

"Grand Montum Blade!"

The Fury Fla Knife blazed, transforming into an imnse blade of light that shot forward. It moved so fast that the air friction caused it to seethe, as if it might ignite at any mont.

The smile on Duanmu Xiong’s face vanished instantly. The mont the blade light appeared, he felt the surrounding space begin to congeal. This wasn’t just a blade of light; it was like a towering mountain range bearing down on him, instilling a sense of inevitable doom.

"Hmph! So what if it’s Grand Montum? Shatter for !" In that life-or-death instant, Duanmu Xiong finally snapped to his senses. He roared to the sky, his golden aura surging dramatically as he launched a ferocious fist towards the blade light.

BOOM!

The air was torn asunder by his golden fist. The tangible impact rippled outward like a shockwave. Sand and dust filled the sky, and a conical depression was blasted into the desert floor.

CRACK! CRACK!

The blade light and the fist energy collided, both rapidly diminishing. However, the golden fist energy held for only an instant before shattering completely. The massive flaming blade light, its power undiminished, continued its deadly advance towards Duanmu Xiong.

"Panluo Xuan Shield!" Duanmu Xiong’s expression changed drastically in fear. He hastily crossed his arms before his chest, and golden light condensed into a foot-thick, octagonal golden shield, firmly protecting him.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The blade light, over ten ters long, slamd into the golden shield, triggering successive explosions. Tangible shockwaves radiated outward, and the nearby desert floor split with countless terrifying fissures.

Assailed by the blade light, Duanmu Xiong was driven back. His legs plowed two horrifyingly deep gouges in the desert. Still unable to negate the impact, he slid back a hundred ters in an instant.

CRACK!

A faint shattering sound was heard as nurous fissures suddenly spiderwebbed across the incredibly hard golden Xuan Shield, spreading rapidly.

"No!" Duanmu Xiong roared, his eyes wide with fury as the golden shield abruptly shattered.

BANG!

A pained shriek followed the deafening explosion. The Xuan Shield disintegrated, and the blade light viciously slashed through Duanmu Xiong’s Protective Gang Qi. Covered in blood, he slamd into the desert, his life hanging by a thread.

The Panluo Xuan Shield had been condensed from all his Yuan Qi. With its destruction by the blade light, the backlash left Duanmu Xiong gravely injured and at death’s door.

Luo Feng walked over and looked down at the mangled form of Duanmu Xiong on the ground, a wave of satisfaction washing over him. Duanmu Xiong had once forced him so deep into the Red Chain Mountain Range that he had nearly died. Today, he had finally settled that score with his own hands!

Luo Feng looked at Duanmu Xiong and said with a faint smile, "Duanmu Xiong, I suppose I should thank you for forcing deep into the Red Chain Mountain Range. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to use the Slaughter Corpses to cultivate, nor would I have achieved my current success."

Duanmu Xiong glared venomously at Luo Feng, his eyes blazing with intense hatred. Suddenly, he let out a cold, hissing laugh. "Luo Feng, so what if you kill ? Soon enough, your entire Luo Family, all several hundred of them, will join in death! HAHAHAHA!" Duanmu Xiong cackled, teetering on the brink of madness.

Luo Feng caught the sinister implication in Duanmu Xiong’s words. Frowning, he grabbed Duanmu Xiong and demanded, "What are you talking about? Speak!"

Despite coughing up blood, Duanmu Xiong continued to laugh maniacally. "No matter how heaven-defying your abilities, how could you possibly contend with our Duanmu Family? Just wait to collect the corpses of your parents, your older brother, and all your kin!"

"Since you refuse to speak, you’re useless to !" Murderous intent flared in Luo Feng’s eyes. With a sharp crack, he struck Duanmu Xiong, killing him instantly.

Gazing at Duanmu Xiong’s corpse, Luo Feng’s frown deepened. From the man’s words, it was clear the Duanmu Family intended to move against his family! Their target this ti wasn’t him, but the entire Luo Family!

I wonder when they’ll make their move... The Duanmu Family was one of the six great families of the Flowing Cloud Region; they were not to be underestimated. Luo Feng felt a surge of anxiety. When he destroyed the Green Wood Trading Co., he had anticipated this day might co. He just hadn’t expected it to be so ill-tid, occurring right after he left the Flowing Cloud Region.

Right, let’s see if he has any clues on him. Luo Feng cald himself, his gaze falling on Duanmu Xiong’s corpse. He reached out and removed the man’s storage ring but found nothing of interest. He then searched Duanmu Xiong’s inner clothing and unexpectedly discovered a letter.

The envelope was addressed: ’For Duanmu Xiong, to be opened personally.’ In the bottom right corner was the na ’Duanmu Ji.’

A letter from Duanmu Ji? A flicker of understanding lit Luo Feng’s eyes. He hastily tore open the envelope and carefully read its contents.

A short while later, Luo Feng lifted his gaze from the letter and let out a long sigh of relief, a smile spreading across his face.

The letter was indeed from Duanmu Ji to Duanmu Xiong. According to its contents, the Duanmu Family had learned from Duanmu Xiong about the fate of the Green Wood Trading Co. and had decided to dispatch forces to completely annihilate the Luo Family in Panlong City.

To Luo Feng’s delight, the letter not only specified the ti of the attack on the Luo Family but also detailed a rendezvous point for Duanmu Xiong.

Ten days from now, Dayang City! That’s plenty of ti. Duanmu Ji, you crippled my older brother. It’s ti to settle that score!

CRUMPLE!

A cold light glinted in Luo Feng’s eyes. With a slight clench of his fist, the letter instantly turned to powder.
