Upon seeing the vast shadow in the distance, the previously relieved students of Floating Snow School instantly tensed up.
The Fla Rock Monster was among the strongest of the fourth-level Demon Beasts. Judging from the fluctuations of its Yuan Qi, this Fla Rock Monster was incredibly strong—equivalent to a Martial Artist in the late stages of the Ninth Layer of the Heavenly Court Realm!

Lu Shan shook his head, stating solemnly, "With our abilities, we’ll only beco a hindrance to him."
While the three were talking, the Fla Rock Monster had already advanced within a hundred ters of Luo Feng. Its heavy footsteps, like two giant hamrs smashing the earth, caused the ground to tremble continuously.

Lu Shan and the others stared at the Fla Rock Monster’s corpse on the ground, their mouths agape, speechless for a long mont.

At this mont, Xu Qing suddenly looked up towards the western sky, her expression subtly changing. "Be careful! There’s a massive swarm of Demon Beasts in the air!"
Wang Hai and Lu Shan looked up simultaneously. A vast shadow, like dark clouds, was rapidly approaching from the sky not far away. Within it, they could vaguely make out nurous large, black-winged birds with blood-red eyes.

The enormous shadow in the sky emitted piercing shrieks, shooting towards the three of them like arrows loosed from a bowstring.
"It’s the third-level Demon Beast, the Red Blood Crow! Stand by ! Floating Snow, Flowing Clouds!" Lu Shan’s brow furrowed slightly. He bellowed, his sword a blur as he thrust out continuously.
The chilling sword light twisted into a mass, emitting a biting cold aura. Snow imdiately began to fall within a radius of tens of ters. Any Red Blood Crows that rushed into it had their speed drastically reduced.
"Die! Chaotic Cloud Heaven Shatterer!" Wang Hai glared nacingly at the descending Red Blood Crows and unleashed a dazzling sword light.
The sword light twisted continuously in the air, striking like a venomous snake. When it landed on the Red Blood Crows’ feathers, it produced clanging sounds and a shower of sparks, leaving only a few very shallow marks on their bodies.
Wang Hai was greatly surprised. He quickly circulated all his Yuan Qi, and his longsword erupted with snow-like Sword Gang. With a thrust, he pierced through one of the Red Blood Crows diving towards him.
"These Red Blood Crows have such strong defenses!" Wang Hai exclaid, shaken, as he looked at the Red Blood Crow’s corpse on the ground.
Gazing at the dense, dark swarm of Red Blood Crows in the sky, Lu Shan’s face turned grim. "Wang Hai, don’t be careless. Protect Junior Sister Xu Qing."
Wang Hai nodded, and the three stood back-to-back.
"Senior Brother Lu, there are so many Red Blood Crows. I fear we won’t be able to hold out for long," Wang Hai said gravely, slashing out with his Sword Qi to repel the approaching Red Blood Crows.
Lu Shan naturally knew this as well. There were at least dozens of Red Blood Crows in the sky, and their numbers were still continuously increasing. With their combined strength, they wouldn’t be able to hold out for long.
Our only hope now is that Luo Feng can quickly deal with the Demon Beasts outside. Otherwise, we’re all going to die here...
After slaying the Fla Rock Monster, Luo Feng didn’t pause for an instant, transforming into a blur as he dashed into the horde of Demon Beasts.

"Damn beast, die!" Wang Hai’s eyes turned red. A chilling aura exploded from his body, the force of it making his clothes flutter loudly. With a slash of his sword, he cut the fleeing Red Blood Crow in two.
Just then, the sky suddenly darkened as a dozen or so Red Blood Crows transford into black streaks of light, shooting towards the trio from different directions. Nearly ten of them charged towards Xu Qing, who had the lowest cultivation.
"Junior Sister Xu Qing, danger!"
Lu Shan and Wang Hai’s faces paled. But they were struggling to defend themselves and were powerless to help, able only to vent their frustration on the Red Blood Crows nearest to them.
"Senior Brother, save !"
Xu Qing cried out, her pretty face drained of all color as she watched the Red Blood Crows hurtling towards her in terror.
SLICE!
Just when Xu Qing thought she was done for, several cold glints of light suddenly flashed in the sky. The Red Blood Crows swooping towards her instantly beca lifeless corpses and fell to the ground.
Luo Feng executed Teng Dragon’s Step, his figure flickering, and in a few breaths, he was standing beside Xu Qing. "Are you alright?" he asked.

Hearing his voice, Xu Qing snapped out of her daze. She looked around blankly, then suddenly threw herself into Luo Feng’s arms, sobbing, "I... I thought I was going to die..."
Overwheld by her narrow escape from death, Xu Qing wept with joy.
A helpless smile appeared on Luo Feng’s face as he gently patted Xu Qing’s trembling shoulder. "Rest easy, we’ll all be fine."
Lu Shan glanced worriedly at Wang Hai. Seeing that Wang Hai’s expression hadn’t changed much, he inwardly sighed in relief. Even though Wang Hai had never admitted it, as his friend, Lu Shan knew Wang Hai had always had feelings for Xu Qing.
Xu Qing gradually cald down. Realizing her loss of composure, she quickly stepped back and said gratefully to Luo Feng, "Senior Brother Luo Feng, thank... thank you for saving ."
At this mont, the blush had not yet faded from her face, and with the glistening tears on her eyelashes, her delicate and vulnerable appearance held a unique charm, a touch of enchanting allure.
Luo Feng t her gaze calmly, shook his head, and looked ahead. "Don’t thank yet. We’re not out of danger."
