As evening approached, the blizzard in the Frosted Plain intensified, snow fluttering down and nearly obscuring one’s sight.
Unable to see the faces of the approaching figures, everyone tensed, thinking they were Sky Flying Demons.

As the figure drew closer, Bing Ruolan’s eyes brightened, a hint of joyful surprise on her pretty face.

Moving as fast as lightning, Luo Feng carved a white pathway through the blizzard, landing in front of the trio.

Luo Feng shook his head, chuckling. "I’m fine. This blood belongs to the Sky Flying Demons."
When he had sliced a Sky Flying Demon in two earlier, Luo Feng had been splashed with a fair amount of its blood.
Standing nearby, Wu Lin, the city defense captain, was wondering how Luo Feng had managed to reach the city so quickly despite being intercepted by Sky Flying Demons. His gaze shifted downwards, settling on Luo Feng’s right hand, and his face froze.
In Luo Feng’s hand were two black bone spikes, each over two feet long.
"Young Hero Luo Feng, may I have a closer look at what you’re holding?"
"Sure."
Luo Feng nodded and handed over the bone spikes.
Although the bone spikes seed small, they felt extrely heavy in hand, as if forged from fla-tempered, refined steel. They glead with a cold light, giving off an impression of unparalleled sharpness.

Luo Feng stored the bone spikes, looked around the city wall, and asked, "Where are the villagers from Snow Rock Village?"
"I’ve already had accommodations arranged for them."
The city defense captain sighed. "The sudden appearance of these Underground Demons caught us completely off guard. Thankfully, you rescued these villagers. Thank you!"

Two graceful figures walked over along the street. The voice sounded sowhat familiar to Luo Feng. He turned his head and recognized them as ’Fragrance Without Shadow’ Ye Siyi and Ye Xiaoshuang; the one speaking was Ye Xiaoshuang.
Both young won were stunningly beautiful and bore so resemblance to each other. Ye Siyi possessed a tranquil aura, like a quiet orchid in a deep valley, while Ye Xiaoshuang was like a vibrant rose blooming in the morning sun. Together, they were a unique sight, attracting the attention of all the newcors on the street.
Seeing the two, Luo Feng smiled slightly. "I was wondering who could have beaten us here; it turns out it was you."
The two approached. Ye Siyi glanced at Bing Ruolan and He Qin. "Jade Sword School, Ye Siyi."
"Tianlan School, He Qin."
"Purple Sun School, Bing Ruolan."
Neither He Qin nor Bing Ruolan had expected to encounter the foremost young expert of the Six Southern Domains.
Ye Siyi’s beautiful eyes turned to Luo Feng as she laughed. "We also just arrived not long ago and encountered no trouble on the way. It’s truly surprising that you could arrive so quickly while protecting so many ordinary villagers."

Yi Wuxue wore a warm smile, a completely different person from monts before.

Ye Xiaoshuang stood beside Luo Feng, a disdainful look on her delicate, pretty face.
The corner of Yi Wuxue’s eye twitched slightly as he looked over. His gaze fell on Luo Feng and then narrowed.
Xie Xuantong also saw Luo Feng, and his face darkened further, a cold glint in his eyes.
Ye Siyi was the foremost young expert in the Six Southern Domains; losing to her was nothing. However, Luo Feng wasn’t even among the top ten young experts. The thought that he had actually arrived after a re student from one of the Flowing Cloud Region’s four academies made Xie Xuantong extrely displeased. And what annoyed him most was Ye Siyi’s cordial attitude towards Luo Feng.
"Hmph, I didn’t expect you all to be here either. However, if we hadn’t encountered a Sky Flying Demon on the road and spent so ti repelling it, you definitely would have arrived after us!"
Xie Xuantong looked at Luo Feng, his gaze filled with a sense of superiority.
