Rumors have always surrounded Chaoyang Valley, painting it as a place of trendous horror. It once caused the annihilation of a powerful sect force overnight, an event that shook Central State and even prompted several Titled Emperor Realm powerhouses to join forces to investigate.

Even such strong warriors, after exploring the depths of Chaoyang Valley for a long while, erged with incredibly somber expressions, rely warning others not to venture into the valley.

Since then, Chaoyang Valley has been regarded as a Forbidden Land by the martial artists of Central State, with very few daring to set foot in it.

It was not until much ti had passed that the taboo surrounding the valley gradually faded, allowing people to enter once again to cultivate with the help of the Heaven and Earth Primordial Qi found there. After nothing strange happened for a while, the forbidding rumors turned into re legend.

Could it be that today, those eerie rumors will reerge?

Qi Lianshan trembled violently, no longer intent on pursuing Xiao Ye, but instead hovering mid-air, watching his surroundings with vigilance.

Xiao Ye stopped in curiosity as well, feeling very puzzled: "What’s going on?"

He had followed Wu Pojun into Chaoyang Valley without any knowledge of the local legends, thinking it was just an ordinary treasure land.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

At this mont, the entire Chaoyang Valley shook violently, countless web-like fractures spreading in all directions, and within the valley, a blood-red tornado began to whirl.

Xiao Ye felt a dampness on his cheeks, as if raindrops were falling on him. He reflexively wiped them off, and his gaze suddenly sharpened.

His palms revealed a glaring red sar of fresh blood.

"Blood, where did this blood co from?" Xiao Ye felt a chill throughout his body, and a shiver ran down his spine.

Even without knowledge of the legends of Chaoyang Valley, he could now sense that this place was far from ordinary.

Whoo! Whoo!

As ti passed, Chaoyang Valley beca so dark that one couldn’t see their own hand in front of them, obstructed by a curtain of pure blackness. A frightening atmosphere spread throughout the basin.

"What on earth is happening?" Xiao Ye placed Little White, bound in chains, into his embrace. Then, grasping the Royal Artifact long blade in his hands, his eyes sparkled with divine light as he scrutinized the dark environnt.

He was certain that the changes happening within Chaoyang Valley had nothing to do with Wu Pojun or Qi Lianshan; he believed that they were just as shocked as he was.

"It looks like there is sothing very unusual about this valley; I have this ominous feeling sothing terrible is going to happen!" Xiao Ye felt the hair on his body stand on end, trembling slightly from fear.

As expected, the next mont—

Boom! Boom! Boom!

Amidst the pitch-black surroundings, a cataclysmic noise erupted within Chaoyang Valley, as if infinite thunder was rolling, as if thousands of troops were clashing, resembling the wailing winds of the Netherworld assailing him, forcing Xiao Ye to stumble back explosively.

"Damn it!"

At this mont, Xiao Ye felt as if he was caught in a terrifying whirlpool, unable to control even his body, retreating ceaselessly as a sense of mortal peril surged in his heart. No longer caring about exposing his secrets, he invoked the Four Emperor Skills, the content of the King Martial Scroll, as he bellowed out loud.

Boom! Boom!

Although the flight to escape earlier had consud a lot of the power from the other three King Realms, Xiao Ye still felt as if he had shattered so terrifying entity nearby, causing it to emit a piercing screech.

"What sort of ghost are you? I, Xiao Ye, am not afraid of you!" Xiao Ye imdiately discovered it and couldn’t help but raise his long sword high, then burst forth with intense Sword Light, crossing the void and blasting towards the source of the screeching noise.

Even under these circumstances, he couldn’t clearly see the opponent, but he could still distinguish the direction of the ghost through its sound.

Hiss! Hiss! Hiss!

That intense Sword Light burst out with dazzling brilliance, and although the light was continuously devoured by the darkness, it still shone like a teor, emitting a very brief flash of light, causing Xiao Ye’s pupils to contract.

He saw his Sword Light split a Martial Artist covered in long red hair in an extrely brief mont.

That Martial Artist’s face was pale as paper, like a wandering soul, with tattered robes, many areas revealing chilling white bones, with so rotting flesh barely hanging on the skeletal fra.

Once the Martial Artist, covered in red hair, was sliced by the Sword Light, darkness once again enveloped the area, making it impossible to see anything ahead.

"Could this be the sa as those Ancient Corpses I saw in the Dynasty Battle?" Xiao Ye was incredibly shocked.

To think that such ghostly creatures appeared in Chaoyang Valley, and they were covered in red hair, making them even more terrifying than the Ancient Corpses he saw during the Dynasty Battle.

"What in the world is this place!" Xiao Ye’s hand, holding the long sword, trembled slightly, and his palms were sweating.

Under such circumstances, where he couldn’t see anything, if these ghosts sward him, even a King Martial Peak practitioner might fall, let alone himself.

As ti passed, the entire Chaoyang Valley was filled with various cold and piercing cries, as if a gateway to the Netherworld had been opened, releasing countless ghosts from Hell, everywhere in Chaoyang Valley.

Xiao Ye even felt like there were a large number of ghosts wandering around him, aiming to strike him, a feeling that was extrely terrifying.

"Little White is trapped now; I can only rely on myself. I must leave quickly!" Xiao Ye forcibly cald himself down.

In such a place, if he lost his composure, he would likely pay the price with his life.

Xiao Ye took a deep breath, took out a King Crystal from his Space Ring, hid it in his mouth for ergencies, and then made a rough guess in his mind about his location in Chaoyang Valley. He clenched his teeth and, wielding his long sword, rushed towards the exit he had figured out.

"Get out of my way!"

While fleeing for his life, Xiao Ye raised his Royal Artifact long sword high, slashing with powerful Sword Light beams, clearing the obstacles.

Fortunately, he had cultivated the Four Emperor Skills and possessed four King Realms, so he had a deep foundation. Despite the energy consud earlier, he still had a significant amount of strength left and was temporarily able to counterattack.

As Xiao Ye rushed towards the exit, the ghosts in the entire Chaoyang Valley imdiately moved upon sensing him, letting out piercing screams and swooping towards him.

"No!"

Xiao Ye felt his heart pound fiercely and couldn’t help but look up and roar.
