Adam t the elf’s gaze.

"I’m currently at the Apprentice Realm."

The elf blinked.

For a mont, it looked like she was about to refuse outright.

But Adam spoke again before she could.

"There’s no rule against buying a conduit early, is there?"

He shrugged casually.

"Prices go up all the ti. Who knows how expensive they’ll be by the ti I actually need one?"

The elf stared at him.

Completely stunned.

Who buys a conduit they can’t even use for another four ranks?

The thought almost slipped out of her mouth.

But she stopped herself.

After all, a sale was a sale.

And Royal Purple conduits ca with extrely generous commissions.

Her expression quickly returned to professional politeness.

"Of course, sir. The Royal Purple conduits are this way."

Adam had already activated Connect earlier.

So when she turned around, he wasn’t surprised by the faint trace of Avarice he sensed from her emotions.

He followed her deeper into the store.

Soon, they arrived at another aisle.

Unlike the previous section, the shelves here were spaced farther apart.

Each weapon rested in its own display case.

Even standing at the entrance, Adam could feel it, a faint pressure.

Royal Purple conduits weren’t ordinary weapons.

They were ant for Lord-ranked martial artists.

And their presence alone carried weight.

Adam slowly walked past the display cases.

Royal Purple conduits possessed four categories.

And he was only interested in one thing.

Category Four.

The highest tier.

A conduit capable of providing 8 Star Power.

Adam glanced at the price tags.

His expression didn’t change.

Yeah...

There’s no way I could’ve bought these fast just by going on runs.

One item in particular caught his eye.

Royal Sword

Price: $12,000,000

Adam stared at the price for a mont.

Then quietly exhaled.

"...Well."

"That’s expensive."

****

The price of a single conduit was already staggering.

Back in Sector 418, Adam had earned a considerable amount of money, but even then, purchasing just two of these would have nearly emptied his account.

Fortunately...

Things were different now.

Adam reached into his storage ring and pulled out the black card Redy had given him last night.

The surface was sleek and minimalistic, but the na engraved on it carried enormous weight.

Eden Group.

The mont the elf saw it, her posture stiffened.

Everyone in the city knew that na.

Adam handed the card to her calmly.

"I’d like to purchase twenty conduits."

The elf instinctively nodded.

"Of course, sir. I’ll have that processed—"

Then she froze.

Her eyes widened.

"...I’m sorry, sir. Did you say twenty?"

Adam nodded.

"Twenty."

For a split second, the elf looked like her pupils had turned into coins.

Her professional composure almost collapsed.

"Of course, sir!" she said quickly. "I’ll process that order imdiately."

She straightened and asked,

"Which selection would you like?"

Adam shrugged.

"Anything is fine."

"As long as it’s Royal Purple grade and Category Four."

The elf nodded rapidly.

"Understood, sir."

She quickly led Adam to a separate room.

A VIP lounge reserved for high-value custors.

The difference was obvious the mont Adam stepped inside.

The atmosphere felt calr.

The furniture was elegant and comfortable.

On the coffee table in front of him sat a small pot of herbal tea.

Adam lifted the cup and took a sip.

His eyebrows rose slightly.

The tea contained a faint trace of cultivation essence.

Even the ambient energy in the room felt noticeably denser than outside.

Clearly, this place was designed to keep wealthy martial artists comfortable.

Once she confird Adam had everything he needed, the elf excused herself and hurried off to process the order.

Inside her mind, excitent exploded.

An Eden Group card...

And a custor buying twenty Royal Purple conduits...

This was the largest commission she had seen all year.

She didn’t understand why soone would purchase so many high-grade conduits at once.

But that wasn’t her concern.

Her job was to fulfill the order.

And she did it quickly.

The conduits were packaged, verified, and prepared for delivery.

Paynt was processed through the Eden Group card.

Adam authorized the transaction from his phone while waiting in the lounge.

Not long after, the elf returned carrying several sealed storage cases.

Adam inspected them carefully.

Everything was correct.

He nodded.

The elf smiled politely.

"You’re welco back anyti, sir."

Adam stood and stretched slightly.

"Thanks."

Then he glanced at the teapot on the table.

"Also... I’d like more of that tea."

The elf followed his gaze and chuckled softly.

"No problem, sir."

"Next ti you visit, I’ll prepare a full package for you."

Adam nodded in satisfaction.

Then he put the cases in his storage ring and left the Martial Market.

Back at the Eden Group Manor, Redy had finished getting ready.

She wore a simple black tracksuit and a cap pulled low over her hair.

Felicia, anwhile, had thrown on a casual jacket and trousers.

To an outsider, the two won looked like they were about to head out for a light workout.

At that mont, Ivy wandered into the sitting room.

Her hair was ssy, and she still looked half-asleep.

Which made sense.

Ivy rarely went to bed on ti.

Most nights were spent buried in research, experinting with new ideas for her projects.

Ever since she had seen Adam’s Adaptive Conduit, her mind had been racing with possibilities.

Unfortunately, none of her attempts had succeeded yet.

Yawning slightly, Ivy poured herself a cup of coffee.

Then she glanced at the two won by the door.

"So," she said casually, taking a sip. "Where are you two going?"

Redy answered first.

"Just going out for a drink."

Ivy stared at her.

Then slowly turned toward Felicia.

Her eyes narrowed.

"Don’t tell the drunkard is dragging you along."

Felicia’s eyes imdiately narrowed.

"What exactly do you an by that?"

Ivy didn’t respond.

Instead, she calmly picked up her coffee and began walking back toward her room.

A strategic retreat.

She had no intention of sticking around to face Felicia’s temper.
