The Star Emperor Token Yang Kai had on him was given to him by Gui Zu. Yang Kai had brought Gui Zu out from the floating continent, ending his two-thousand-year imprisonnt there. At the ti, Gui Zu had acted unpredictably, making no distinctions between good and evil, but at the last mont, for so reason Yang Kai still didn’t comprehend, Gui Zu had actually given him this Star Emperor Token.
