"I wonder why the First Speaker suddenly summoned us."

In the War God Palace's virtual space, on the top floor's council chamber, dozens of councilors in golden robes gathered. Each of them had been called here by Hong to attend this eting.

At that mont, they conversed in small groups, speculating about the reason for the summons.

When everyone had arrived, Hong sat with several other Speakers at the head of the hall. His voice was calm as he began, "I called you all here today to make an announcent. Our War God Council has welcod a new mber."

"A new mber?"

The councilors exchanged curious glances.

Since last March, no one had advanced to the councilor rank. They all wondered which peak War God had finally broken through the bottleneck.

To step into the rank of councilor ant becoming one of humanity's highest-level powers. Whether in the Five Great Nations or in the two great martial halls, such a person would hold enormous influence. If they wished, they could even establish their own base city.

The golden-robed councilors speculated cheerfully, each guessing which unstoppable War God it might be.

Yet after much discussion, they realized none of them had heard anything about it.

That alone was strange, because they all knew every peak War God personally.

Hong raised his hand to quiet the chatter. "No need to guess. This new mber has never set foot in War God Palace before."

The chamber fell silent.

Even the Speakers sitting beside Hong were stunned.

"Never been here?" soone muttered.

Thunder God was the first to lose patience. "Brother Hong, stop teasing us. Who advanced? Was it soone from your Extre Martial Hall?"

Hong glanced at him and gave a helpless smile. "Yes. His na is Luo Wen. He cos from our Elite Training Camp."

"What? A student?"

The words exploded like a thunderclap.

The council chamber erupted with disbelief.

"First Speaker, you must be joking! A re student from the Elite Training Camp, becoming a councilor? I ca back from hunting a king-level beast just to attend this eting!"

The Ice Emperor, Mohanderson, could not stop himself from shouting.

Hong didn't bla him. He too had been shocked when he first learned.

"Hong, are you referring to that Luo Wen, the one who broke into the Black Dragon Ranking's top 100 during his first month in the training camp last year?" asked the Fourth Speaker, East, stroking his chin.

Hong nodded.

East's expression turned strange, and the other councilors' faces grew increasingly complex.

Last year, he had just entered the camp. And now you tell us he has beco a councilor? What kind of absurdity was this?

"Hong, what exactly is going on?"

East wanted to accuse him of joking, but seeing Hong's peerless strength, he swallowed the words and asked more carefully instead.

Hong saw the disbelief in every face. With a wave of his hand, a virtual screen appeared in the center of the chamber.

The screen showed Luo Wen, in the northern Alps, slaying a Four-Winged Black Dragon.

The clip lasted barely a minute.

From Luo Wen riding his shuttle into the beast's nest, to the dragon fleeing, and finally to its beheading it was all over in a heartbeat.

When the video ended, the hall was silent.

Everyone sat in shock.

Even Thunder God's jaw dropped.

No one had expected Hong's words to be true.

This Luo Wen really possessed the strength of a councilor.

The Four-Winged Black Dragon was no ordinary monster. For the European Union councilors, it was especially terrifying, for they had suffered heavy losses against it in the past.

How many here could say they could slay such a beast, and in so short a ti?

Not many, not even among the councilors themselves.

Yet Luo Wen had dispatched it as easily as drinking water.

His speed completely outclassed the dragon's, and his fiery blade dozens of ters long severed its head in a single stroke.

So councilors swallowed nervously. They knew they stood no chance against him.

"He's a Spirit Reader!"

One sharp-eyed councilor noticed the clue.

Luo Wen hadn't used flying blades, but his flight relied on a shuttle-shaped weapon. Only Spirit Readers could fly that way.

The golden-robed councilors looked at his youthful face on the screen, utterly shaken.

Still in the training camp, yet already a councilor?

How could such a monster exist?

Thunder God scratched his bald head, inhaling sharply. "Brother Hong, when did this kid beco a War God? Why didn't he register?"

Hong sighed. "Over half a year ago. He didn't want to graduate, so he never registered."

Thunder God's lips twitched. Half a year as a War God, and now already a councilor? And a Spirit Reader to boot?

Hong smiled. "By the way, he's also practicing your Ninefold Thunder Blade."

Thunder God froze. "Which level?"

Hong held up seven fingers.

Thunder God groaned and rubbed his bald head harder.

First there was Hong, whose combat power already outstripped him despite being of lower rank. Now there was Luo Wen, just starting out at the planetary level. The pressure was unbearable.

"What's his age?" Mohanderson asked, unable to hold back.

"Eighteen," Hong said calmly.

The chamber fell silent.

Eighteen years old, already a councilor, already slaying king-level beasts.

It was legendary.

Even Hong and Thunder God during the Great Nirvana had not reached such heights.

Hong looked around. "Does anyone object to Luo Wen joining the council?"

There was no response.

At last, East sighed. "No objections."

"No…" Mohanderson muttered.

The other Speakers followed.

"Then it is settled."

Hong rose, his figure turning faint before vanishing from the War God Palace.

The councilors remained behind, imdiately bursting into chatter.

Especially those from China, who could barely contain their joy.

They had gained a second prodigy to stand alongside Hong and Thunder God.

anwhile, Luo Wen had just received his consciousness-sensing helt from Hong's personal guard, Yao Rao.

Yao Rao was a striking mixed-blood beauty, clad in a tight black-and-purple combat suit beneath a flowing robe. Long hair, black with chestnut undertones, frad her golden mask, through which only her eyes, nose, and lips were visible.

Even so, her allure was undeniable.

Just those features alone could outshine ninety-five percent of the world's won.

And she was a planetary-level powerhouse.

At around thirty years old perhaps even younger than Jiang Fang Yao Rao was arguably the most exceptional female warrior on Earth.

Yet at this mont, her gaze toward Luo Wen held more astonishnt than anything else.

His potential rivaled even the Hall Master she revered.

How could she not be shaken?
