lin was imrsed in his cultivation, unable to extricate himself. The Great Cosmos expanded outward bit by bit, and within a few days, three planets were already orbiting the central star. At first glance, it didn't seem like much, but only soone who had cultivated the Great Cosmos like lin would understand how difficult this progress truly was.

In the Great Cosmos, expanding the range of the universe wasn't difficult. As long as one ditated and cultivated, it would gradually expand, with the speed varying from person to person. But with each added planet ca a breakthrough of limits — talent and perseverance were both essential.

Having reached the peak of the Ninth Sense on a flawed cultivation path as a human, lin certainly wasn't lacking in talent, and his perseverance was unmatched. That's how he was able to add three planets within just a few days.

But this was also lin's current limit. The power boost from the addition of those three planets was trendous. Now, he was no weaker than a peak Eighth Sense expert and could even battle those at the Ninth Sense.

If lin were to stop now and begin forming a new star system, his strength would surpass that of the Ninth Sense.

But lin didn't want to waste his potential. He felt that the expansion of his first star system hadn't reached its limit yet, and more planets could still be added. It was just that his cultivation speed had been too fast, leaving his foundation unstable. He needed ti to settle and adapt.

Each star system was a cornerstone of the Great Cosmos. The larger the system, the more planets it contained, the more stable the foundation beca. The broader the path ahead, the greater the potential. So lin intended to fully develop the limits of his star system before moving on to the next step.

"Phew… Ti really flies during cultivation. Feels like it's only been an hour or two, but days have already passed." lin looked at the ti and murmured to himself, getting up to make sothing to eat and planning to go out for a walk to relax.

But soon, his brows furrowed because he sensed that in the distance, Galon's Cosmos had been ignited.

"That kid… did he run into an enemy?"

With that thought, lin didn't delay any longer. His figure flickered and disappeared from where he stood.

Outside Maria Rambeau's house in Louisiana, Fury, Coulson, Talos, Maria Rambeau, and her daughter all stared ahead, dumbfounded, their minds frozen.

Galon floated in the air, the space behind him torn open, revealing another infinite universe in the other dinsion. Planets floated within it. Under Galon's command, the planets were pulled from the dinsional rift, shrank rapidly, and crashed down on Carol.

Although Carol was currently under the control of the Supre Intelligence, her emotions hadn't been erased. Right now, she was overwheld with the emotion called "rage." Every ti she tried to get up and tear Galon apart to vent her anger, another shrunken planet would smash her back to the ground, grinding her down.

"You still won't give up after all this? You're way too stubborn. Sure, the energy in your body is practically infinite, but its strength has weakened a lot. At most, five more hits and your body won't be able to take it." Galon spoke with a frustrated face. He had never intended to kill Carol.

He had minimized the power of the Galactic Explosion, hitting Carol repeatedly not to toy with her, but to restrain her and force the Supre Intelligence out of her brain.

But awkwardly, while Galon could use ntal attacks, he wasn't skilled in them. He found that although Carol's energy was strong, her mind was fragile. He was afraid that if he went too far, the Demon Emperor Illusion Fist might turn Carol into an idiot.

So he had no choice but to keep restraining her like this, hoping the Supre Intelligence would eventually give up and leave her body.

Seeing Carol once again struggling to get up from the impact of the (super-nerfed) Galactic Explosion, Galon sighed and threw another planet-ball at her.

But then—

"Galon… aren't you supposed to be a graduate student? How are you this dumb?"

A flash of blue light passed by. lin appeared beside Carol, smashed the mini-planet with a Light-Speed Punch, pulled Carol up, and casually removed the control device from the back of her neck.

"Uh… M-Master, why are you here!?" Galon's face paled. Before leaving, he had promised that he'd just watch and not get involved.

And now, lin had caught him playing Galactic Dodgeball with Carol. He was dead at!

"I sensed your Cosmos ignite. Thought you were facing a strong enemy, so I ca to check. But turns out you…"

"Uh… Master, let explain…"

"No need. Just co back and prep for your thesis. You didn't even notice such an obvious control device. How embarrassing." lin scolded, tossing the controller to Galon, then picked up Carol and walked toward Fury and the others.

"It's you!"

Fury recognized lin—he was the one he'd seen at Galon's house earlier.

He had guessed that lin wasn't an ordinary person based on Galon, but hadn't expected him to be even more terrifying than Galon!

A single beam had destroyed a planet (albeit a mini version)! Could any of his previous plans to recruit him even work now?

"Carol!"

Fury, Coulson, and Talos each had different thoughts—so tried to guess lin's identity, others pondered how to restrain him. Only Maria Rambeau was purely concerned for Carol.

lin handed Carol over to her and said, "Don't worry. She's no longer under the Supre Intelligence's control. She's just weak right now. Let her sleep a while and she'll be fine."

"Thank you, thank you so much," Maria said, choked with emotion.

"You're welco. (Even though Galon's the one who beat her black and blue.)" lin grumbled internally, using his Cosmos to warm Carol's body and speed up her recovery — a form of compensation, he supposed.

At that mont, the Starforce ship suddenly blasted off the ground and started to retreat into space.

"No! We can't let them escape! Or Earth will be… doom…" Talos's shout cut off abruptly as dozens of golden beams in the sky ford a net, shredding the ship, and Yon-Rogg plumted to the ground.

"Ah—!"

Yon-Rogg was an elite warrior, but even he couldn't suppress a scream as the ground rushed up to et him.

Right before impact, his body froze mid-air.

Looking at the ground inches from his face, Yon-Rogg felt a thrill like never before. It was so intense he swore he'd never want to experience it again — even if he survived, once was more than enough.

"Who… who are you…? According to the database, there's no one like you on this planet," Yon-Rogg asked.

"Do you know how to behave as a guest?" lin still wore his gentle smile as he asked, but to Yon-Rogg, the gentler the smile, the colder he felt.

"Listen, I don't know who you are, and I don't need to. But what you need to know is—I've already contacted the Accuser fleet. They're on their way."

"You… you actually contacted Ronan's fleet!? Are you insane!? He'll destroy this planet!" Talos roared in fury.

Fury and the others' faces darkened as well. They'd already heard about Ronan and his Accuser fleet from Talos.

A true interstellar armada capable of casually wiping out entire civilizations. Dozens of them had already been destroyed by Ronan and his fleet.

"Heh, so what? It's just a primitive, undeveloped planet. The universe is full of them. If one gets wiped out, so what?" Yon-Rogg said arrogantly.

"You!" Fury and Coulson, as Earthlings, were incensed. They wanted nothing more than to shoot him in the head.

But they didn't dare. If Yon-Rogg had dared say that, then he must have had a plan. It wasn't just deathbed madness.

"But now, you have a chance. Let go, and I'll convince Ronan to retreat."

"Just as expected." Fury and Coulson's hearts sank.

Yon-Rogg was a valuable prize—his equipnt, his intel, even his body had imnse value. This might be their best shot at understanding an advanced alien civilization.

There was no way they could let him go.

But Yon-Rogg had used Earth's safety as leverage, forcing them into an impossible decision.

"Heh… Kid, lying isn't a good habit," lin spoke up.

"What are you—"

"Pretending to make a deal only to back out once you're safe. Am I right?"

"You… how did you…" Yon-Rogg stared at lin like he was so kind of monster.

Reading soone's innermost thoughts was possible for the Kree Empire too, but only with the help of special devices. lin had done it bare-handed, seemingly without lifting a finger. In his understanding, only the Supre Intelligence could do sothing like that.

But the Supre Intelligence was the highest, most sacred being to all Kree. Yon-Rogg couldn't accept comparing lin to it.

lin didn't care about his reaction. He continued, "And even if you did intend to keep your promise, I doubt you have the ability to convince Ronan and his fleet to turn around."

"You—"

Just then, everyone looked up. In the sky above, outside the atmosphere, countless black dots appeared, forming a massive cluster visible to the naked eye.

"Hahaha, it's too late to say anything now! Ronan's already here. Let go, or we all die together!" Seeing his trump card arrive, Yon-Rogg regained his bravado.

"So that's your confidence? Heh." lin sneered and called over Galon.

"Master."

"Here's a chance to make up for your mistake. Go show them how a guest should behave."

Hearing that, Galon's lips curled into a cold grin.

"Yes, sir."
