Shuma-Gorath knew that if the three of them had no shared interest, they would probably start fighting among themselves before they even dealt with Karl.
But what he had not expected was that those two teammates of his would arrive so quickly.
His body was enormous, and the area covered by his psychic defense was naturally enormous as well.
phisto slipped directly into that defense.
Shuma-Gorath felt that this one move by those two idiots had caused him even more damage than all of Karl's attacks combined.
Boom!
Shuma-Gorath did not have much ti to wallow in frustration.
Golden thunder slamd directly into Shuma-Gorath's heavy psychic barrier.
Blinding lightning scattered in every direction.
In an instant, a massive cocoon of golden light ford around Shuma-Gorath.
Thunder flickered everywhere around him.
Inside the barrier, Shuma-Gorath endured an astonishing level of pressure.
Even the massive central eye in his body was filled with burst blood vessels.
Pfft!
That enormous eye suddenly exploded, and fluids of every color splattered across the psychic barrier.
Even the source of Shuma-Gorath's powerful psychic power could not withstand such a terrifying attack and exploded outright.
That alone showed just how much pressure he was under at that mont.
Fleshy tendrils continued to grow, weaving together inside his eye socket.
The massive eye grew back once again.
However, Shuma-Gorath's aura was clearly weakening.
That extrely thick psychic barrier shattered like fragile porcelain.
Fortunately, the sky-filling thunder Karl had released was almost completely exhausted by then.
Otherwise, the three of them might have been turned into charcoal by that overwhelming lightning.
"You two, attack!"
"Otherwise, we all die together."
Shuma-Gorath glared viciously at the two teammates hiding behind him.
At this point, even the demon lords felt a little embarrassed.
"Kaluu, attack with and stop him."
"It is ti we got serious. We cannot let this brat keep acting so arrogantly."
phisto spoke viciously.
Kaluu also nodded, purple light flashing across his body.
That was the power of the Laws within him.
The two of them stood directly in front of Karl.
Karl simply flicked both hands.
Two transparent Rift-Cleaving Blades appeared directly in his grasp.
phisto and Kaluu's montum imdiately weakened.
Karl's attacks were simply too sharp!
What if the two of them could not beat him?
Karl did not have as many worries as the two of them.
Golden light flashed.
He charged forward directly and appeared behind Kaluu once again.
The Rift-Cleaving Blade in his hand stabbed straight toward Kaluu's back.
His other hand did not stop either, stabbing forward at the sa ti.
It looked as though he was attacking Kaluu.
But in reality—
Golden light flashed.
Karl's right hand actually appeared directly behind phisto.
phisto had been watching the show and had no defenses up at all.
On top of that, Karl's spatial magic produced no fluctuations whatsoever.
That Rift-Cleaving Blade stabbed directly into phisto's back.
Kaluu, on the other hand, had been prepared in advance, so that attack failed to land.
"Damn it!"
phisto let out a painful roar.
Karl controlled the Rift-Cleaving Blade and kept stirring it inside his body, tearing his insides into complete chaos.
Fortunately, this was only an avatar.
There were no true core organs inside phisto's body.
In fact, after reaching their level, their bodies had long since beco energy-based. They were no longer flesh-and-blood bodies in the purest sense.
Although phisto had suffered heavy damage, he had not died.
Clearly, in just a few dozen seconds, one of the two powerhouses had already lost the ability to attack.
Karl's dominance was obvious.
After heavily injuring phisto with one strike, Karl did not let his guard down.
Around Kaluu, more than a dozen golden portals of various sizes appeared directly.
Karl waved his hand.
More than a dozen spells were thrown out through the portals.
The two Rift-Cleaving Blades attacked from the front.
For a mont, Kaluu was thrown into complete disarray.
There were simply too many attacks he had to defend against.
Above his head, beneath his feet, behind his back, below his waist—
Every weak point was being targeted by all kinds of magical attacks.
In front of his chest, two gleaming spatial blades were also attacking him.
He was already the weakest of the three.
Aside from him, whether it was phisto or Shuma-Gorath, which one of them had not lived for thousands, even tens of thousands, of years?
Kaluu had only lived for a re hundred-plus years.
He was already no match for Karl to begin with.
And Karl even knew how to coordinate all kinds of spells in combination attacks.
How could Kaluu possibly block that?
Choosing the lesser of two evils, Kaluu gritted his teeth.
A platinum-white holy sword appeared and blocked in front of him, stopping Karl's two Rift-Cleaving Blades.
But the other attacks landed directly on his body.

All kinds of spells smashed directly into Kaluu.
He spat out a mouthful of purple blood, and his eyes suddenly bulged outward.
He looked truly miserable.
Kaluu wiped the corner of his mouth, then his body suddenly turned incorporeal.
Relying on psychic power, he appeared a thousand ters away and dodged Karl's attack.
"I cannot hold him off anymore. This brat is too fierce."
"Can't you two think of sothing?"
"phisto, you said he was arrogant, but he has the power to back it up! What are you going to do?"
"If this will not work, then we retreat!"
Kaluu transmitted through psychic power.
Karl was simply too ruthless.
The coordination of his spells and his casting speed did not make him seem like a young man at all. Instead, he seed more like so reincarnated ancient monster!
Just what kind of talent did soone need to possess such terrifying strength at his age?
If this continued, they would suffer a major loss sooner or later.
Even though Kaluu was still hiding part of his strength, he no longer wanted to keep fighting like this.
Throwing away his own life for Kamar-Taj was simply not worth it.
phisto and Shuma-Gorath exchanged a look.
Kaluu could run, but they could not.
If they lost this avatar, their losses would be severe.
They were not beings like the Five Great Gods, who had endless avatars throughout the Multiverse.
Every avatar was extrely important to them.
They looked at each other.
Their psychic power communicated in secret.
"Let us get serious. We have already seen his strength clearly."
"Have our true bodies descend directly and erase him. Even if we have to pay a certain price, it will still be worth it."
"Earth will be more than enough to make up for the price we pay."
phisto transmitted his psychic power to Shuma-Gorath.
Shuma-Gorath gritted his teeth.
"I will break open his seal, but I want more souls."
phisto thought for a mont, then nodded.
"Fine!"
The two of them reached an agreent.
Then they looked toward Karl, who was driving Kaluu back with slash after slash.
