Now reading: Chapter 160: An Inner Universe? Humans Can Have One Too from Marvel: God-Tier Talent—Infinite Critical Strikes!, a Action novel by Zukooo.

phisto had not expected Karl to be this troubleso.

Every thod used against him seed to lose its proper effect, only to be dismantled by him step by step.

That talent was truly terrifying.

Gritting his teeth, phisto felt deeply unwilling to accept it.

He muttered under his breath, and a pitch-black spike, cold and razor-sharp, shot straight toward Karl.

Without another word, phisto waved his hand.

The black spike suddenly disappeared from in front of him.

Space flickered.

The black spike actually appeared directly behind Karl.

It stabbed straight toward the center of his back.

Silent and soundless.

Without the slightest ripple.

It was as though the thing had never existed in the world at all.

If the one standing in front of him had been an ordinary person, phisto was certain that this strike would have pierced straight through their heart.

But using it to ambush Karl made phisto feel strangely uncertain.

As he watched the black spike silently approach Karl, even his breathing slowed slightly. He was tense.

Clang!

Just as the black spike was about to touch Karl, he turned around through so unbelievable thod.

With one hand, he caught it between his fingers.

The black spike that seed utterly unstoppable in phisto's eyes was directly clamped in Karl's hand.

It could not advance even an inch.

Not only that, phisto also sensed an aura from Karl that ca from the sa source as his own.

"The Infernal Law!"

phisto let out a cry of shock.

The expression on his face changed several tis in an instant.

When he discovered that Karl had learned the Law of the Abyss, he had mocked Shuma-Gorath for it.

That guy had been far too careless.

Even his own abilities had been learned by soone else.

He had truly beco a disgrace among them.

But fate had a way of turning things around.

He had not expected retribution to arrive in the blink of an eye, and so quickly at that.

Karl had actually mastered the Infernal Law as well.

He was clearly not a creature of Hell, but a native Earthling.

A person who had never comprehended the power of Hell before had actually comprehended the Infernal Law!

At this mont, he finally understood Shuma-Gorath's pain.

It was an emotion woven together from regret, disbelief, inferiority, and fury.

It was enough to make him want to kill his enemy ten thousand tis over.

Unfortunately, the one he was facing now was Karl.

An opponent even stronger than them.

After fighting for so long, they had not even figured out what Law Karl primarily cultivated.

"This guy is really a freak."

"Why could such an existence be born from one re Earth?"

"Reality is far too biased!"

phisto could not help howling loudly.

His convictions collapsed.

It was like studying hard for dozens of days, preparing to get a good result on an exam, only for a classmate who had just returned from wasting ti outside to instantly take first place.

In an instant, phisto began to doubt all the effort he had put in over so many years.

His confidence shattered.

Beside him, Shuma-Gorath's eye was filled with hatred and unwillingness, as if Karl had stolen the most precious thing he had.

"I refuse to accept this! I refuse!"

"I have cultivated for so many years and devoured so many worlds, yet in the end, am I still no different from an ordinary mortal?"

"Is the gap between beings truly that enormous?"

"I don't believe it!"

A furious roar erupted in Shuma-Gorath's heart.

If killing Karl at the beginning had only been for the sake of venting his anger, now it was because of the unwillingness in his heart.

Even if Karl released the restraints and allowed him to leave, Shuma-Gorath would absolutely not leave now.

"phisto, it seems we have to use our final thod."

"We will directly use our world projections! Suppress him!"

Shuma-Gorath's eye was blood-red as he spoke.

Hearing this, phisto hesitated slightly.

He did not want to fight this kid to the death.

But when he saw Shuma-Gorath's enormous eye glowing crimson, phisto's heart trembled.

He strongly suspected that if he said anything about retreating now, Shuma-Gorath might beat him up as well.

So he nodded in agreent.

"That's right. We cannot let this kid continue acting so arrogantly. Why should he be allowed to?"

"Reality is too unfair!"

"Why can this kid have such talent?"

"Why can this guy comprehend so many Laws, while we can only comprehend one?"

As he spoke, phisto began to grit his teeth.

This kid was truly hateful.

Fortunately, phisto still retained his final trace of clarity.

On the other side, Shuma-Gorath's eye had already gone red as he charged forward with the world projection behind him.

Projection against projection.

This was their final path.

It was a clash of paths, a clash of Laws.

Once the world projection carrying their path shattered, their Laws would shatter as well.

That outco ant death.

phisto did not want to die!

Unfortunately, Shuma-Gorath could no longer care about any of that.

With astonishing montum that pressed forward without hesitation, he brought his world projection crashing over.

Resolute. Decisive. Without the slightest retreat.

He would rather break than bend!

His Law of the Abyss manifested within the world projection.

The surrounding void split apart directly.

The Laws themselves collapsed.

Before that terrifying power, everything would be crushed.

The cosmic mbrane protecting this world appeared, only to be smashed open by Shuma-Gorath.

Dangerous chaotic currents even appeared within this real universe.

This was no longer rely power.

It was a conflict between paths.

It was the final swan song of a powerhouse staking everything on his own path.

The power released was truly enough to make this world tremble.

Even Karl could not help sighing.

Shuma-Gorath's final act in this world was indeed extraordinary.

Unfortunately, not every sacrifice would receive a reward.

Shuma-Gorath's desperate strike had no aning.

Karl closed his eyes.

His entire being sank into a mysterious state.

Then, a universe slowly spread outward with his inner core as its center.

Stillness.

Everything around him beca still.

Ti seed to stop at this exact mont.

Even Shuma-Gorath, who was charging toward him, was frozen in place.

The universe inside Karl's body suddenly expanded, even suppressing the world projections summoned by phisto and Shuma-Gorath.

This universe directly beca his domain.

If not for the rejection of the real universe, he even felt that he could beco the king of this world.

"What a pity."

"I wonder when my inner universe will be comparable to a truly powerful universe."

Karl sighed.

Ti began to flow again.

The expressions on Shuma-Gorath and phisto's faces also beca vivid once more.

The terror in their eyes was visible to the naked eye.

"An inner universe!"

"The Path of the Elder Gods! That's impossible!"

The two powerhouses suffered heavy injuries.
